1 - You are getting law enforcement agencies involved, to demand refund OR
2 - You are holding unto vehicle till full refund is received...OR
3 - Accepting that the 35% already paid, constitutes full and final payment of the vehicle. And you bare the cost of fixing this fault and other future faults that might rare their ugly head ......

Not forgetting that the airbags are now simply only decorative items .........

Good day,the vehicle starts most times and stalls to a halt while being driven,it displays on the dash board stop and start system malfunction visit your dealer.we have checked the start and stop switch, thumb start switch all seem ok, a scan of the vehicle did not show any code.
Please Gazzuz, auto Josh,sienna etc please assist

I wish to thank everyone for ur assistance so far. AutoElectNg, nurey and all. My vehicle is back to normal, noiseless engine/movement
I had to remove all four shocks that was raised, bought a new replacement, changed the camber, installed new brake pad and viola, problem went away.
Now i know that all the while i've been hating on my vehicle for being too low to the ground and damaging my bumper was a shock problem.
I've never enjoyed this ride before like now, tires r solid to d ground i hardly feel potholes anymore.

@nurey, i got the shocks at 16k for the two front(belgium) and 15k for the rear(new ones/china)

low engine oil level can cause overheat...oil does more to bring down temperature than does coolant

Roughly 70% of cooling is handled by oil, 30% by coolant and ram air

While doing the 3x atf changing. Can ordinary ATF be used as flush before using the dw1 oil. Cos dw1 cost small oooo. Or can a person used an already used ATF as flush for the 20mileabdrive before using the new one

Brake fluid has not be changed though had to replace one side front brakes cos it was eaten down.
Apart from that only oil changes now and then

Great public service you are doing...educating people on this kind of stuff.

Toyota actually does specify brake fluid replacement intervals for (at least some of) its vehicles - I can confirm it is in the owners manual for some models (even if some of us don't follow said intervals the way we should).

To add to what you have said, I would advise car owners to discourage mechanics from meddling with their brake fluid! Mechanics often dip any old dirty rag, etc. into the brake fluid reservoir whenever they want to use brake fluid to fix paintwork damage. Unfortunately this significantly increases the risk of contaminants getting into the reservoir, master and the rest of the system. And if your mechanic needs to bleed your brakes, make sure the fluid is bled into a clean dry container if you intend to re-use it! I once had a mechanic bleed my brake fluid into a discarded, barely empty pure water satchet . Wouldn't it be suicidal to drive a vehicle with brake fluid in that state?

Liquids are compressible, otherwise shock and sound waves would not exist.
Also. should liquid remain incompressible, Bermoulli would not have ASSUMED that fluid is incompressible in his bernoulli theorem in fluid dynamics.
Another principle worthy of note is the compressibility modulus....

Hello AutoElectNG

I have a Toyota Highlander 2004 that has the check engine light and VSC light on. When scanned it had an error code P0016.

The vehicle fuel consumption is very high and when you want to accelerate it stalls sometimes. These are the only two symptoms it has. The engine sounds good and it drives fine apart from when you need to quickly accelerate and it stalls a bit before it picks up.

I got a mechanic to check the timing belt and he claims it's okay and not missing a tooth, also said it aligns. I really don't know what else to do.

While this is true, my only concern here is the chassis rails that have deformed due to the impact(impact was severe)
Best thing top be done in such scenario is to position vehicle on a jig, replace the rail by drilling out the spot welds that lead all the way to the engine firewall/bulkhead., and replace with oem rail via spot welding while measurements will be done as per manufactures's collision repair manual( as if we dey yankee )

Acceptable way is to position vehicle on frame straightening jig/jack assembly and perform COLD straightening, as the rail is not too twisted (Material engineers will understand why), while measurements will be done as per manufactures's collision repair manual. this will obviously weaken the steel(high strength) as it would be a little bit compromised to accept another impact such as this.

Naija way is to use tape rule, cut and join with metal arc (stick) welding
