The alternative would be 3 to 4 hours a day Monday to Friday, which is not a possibility at the moment due to scheduling conflicts.

As soon as that becomes a possibility, you will be informed.

And what is realistic...If I was not serious why did I engage with the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence the organization behind the ASE exams for 2 years, at some point even directly communicating with their Assistant Vice President?

Why did I discuss the setting up and accreditation of a Nigerian test center with them?

And discuss the legalese around around using their logo and their curriculum?

My target is adult working class who have no other time but weekends? But whose weekends must be split between these and other commitments that cannot be met during the week due to 9 to 5 commitments?

I reached out to the best automotive instructors in the United States of America and got unbelievable support in goodwill educational support material for the classes?

In any case, please feel free to make suggestions about what you consider a realistic arrangement?

This was the original venue before they disclosed to me that our agreement has been vitiated by the fat they were not aware I was going to be doing automotive technology training, and given their previous experiences with such trainings, they can no longer honor the agreement.

For those who complain about Google and checking sources, here is a what a respected Educator and Instructor affiliated with the Oakland Institute of Automotive Technology, Oakland, California, USA said about the need to do the necessary research before working on a modern vehicle: "It is important to remember when you take on one of these newer vehicles, that you do your homework first..."

Whether that homework is by consulting Google, consulting fellow technicians, or the manufacturer's documentation is immaterial, what is material is that the technician realises that he is chasing a moving target and does his best to go after that moving target.

That is the difference between the modern automotive technician and the run-of-the-mill kind most of us run to due to economic reasons.

This is a summary of the situation.

Vehicle is not stock.

Factory Engine was deleted and another engine was installed.

I didn't ask why that happened, maybe OP would like to share.

Wiring was modified.

A lot of modifications were made to the car so that it would work post the factory engine delete, and those modifications were not documented.

Given those previous modifications and what has been turned upside down (modifications made over these past 4 months).

This vehicle is of doubtful paternity, it is an unknown quantity - without a verified baseline, the job just got a lot more complicated.

This is a minefield.

Yes, it can/could be done but the time, the money and the patience involved from either end to get this sorted will be plenty.

OP wants this vehicle to start, so asking him to restore the vehicle to factory baseline may sound like an overkill, but where does one start to check what was changed before he begins to check where the problem is coming from?

Still pondering if I want to be involved, given the above issues.

I've promised to link him up to someone else nonetheless.

Don't use analogy multimeters' with modern cars.

The problem started after transmission was replaced. I believe most of the work was performed from driver side.

My personal mechanic whom i paid to supervise the project as the work was performed at the transmission shop said he made sure everything was put back the same way, but one can never vouch for these guys.

Maybe force has been applied on the harness.
Yesterday i tried to visually inspect the harness connector from the top fender but it looks good.

Now its VSC ABS illuminated. The same codes and procedure as i explained above.

The wire was stretched inadvertently... From the above explanation, do you have a multimeter?

Replacing the harness between the sensor and receptor of the sensors signals may be the solution you are seeking or failing that, repairing the harness

The idea behind the scope is to compare readings between both front wheels, if they aren't identical, there is a problem

It seems very likely the problem is electrical, did you or someone else work in that area?

Troubleshooting is identical for both sides though left DTC is C0205 and right is C0200.

I have my ABS light illuminated on my 07 lexus rx350
Scanned and its C0205, C1223 and c1236 which points to Front LH sensor ie driver side.
Bought a new sensor from amazon and replaced, same code.
Swapped RH sensor with LH . Same code on front LH. Meaning its not a sensor issue.
Now plugged in a scanner and checked live data while driving.
1. All four sensors are working or reading, but observed the front LH drops to zero quickly and rises ,while others remained constant.
Its intermittent and not consistent.

We now observed graph pattern, the Front LH shows a weird pattern , rough and other three are smooth patterns.

We went further to check reluctor ring in the outer CV, it is still very okay, no breakage , clean.

Now what do you guys think is the problem?
Right now i am confused.

Inspect wiring for shorts or intermittent opens

Ensure that resistance is within specifications

Seems you have run a test using an oscilloscope

Worst case scenario, you may need to replace the ABS module

I angrily asked him why he believed his friend without trying to confirm the from me, we deeply quarrelled and he made statement threatening to end the marriage if I cannot respect his friends and his people. I have never disrespected him or any of his friends and family members before, I'm so confused, we have not be conversing and relating well since Monday. I tried to make peace with him as I wasn't comfortable keeping malice with him but he said I will have to apologise to his friend which is something I don't think I can do.

I have Sha done what gazzuz asked me to do, I have changed radiator cover again, fan works well, radiator is clean, I'm sure themostat is good cause it doesn't over heat even in traffic, except if I hold on to d brakes while on D 4 very long in traffic with AC on.
Apart from that d car is perfect with OEM approved parts and fluids through out
So I ll give it one last trial, if the guage rise again, I will remove themostat to have rest of mind biko

Did you wash or replace the radiator?

Best case scenario replace


Worst case scenario wash the radiator four times, after each wash make sure car goes up to operating temperatures, then allow it to cool down before washing again, you could do this daily for 1 week, each time using just water, then the last time using OEM fluid, and you will be good if a clogged radiator is at fault

Second advice targeted at circumstances where budgets are tight
