wifeesnatcher: NLC is mad, they're right on the relieving the lockdown but what preventive measures do they want FG to adopt?
you see why we are still having less cases wasn't only because people haven't tested in mass but because we haven't developed community contact as it was in foreign countries
any community contact with everybody going to their normal daily activities might speak doom for the citizens. the best approach is to distribute palliatives genuinely to everyone in the affected states in the country then shut down this states for a week and you will see how this will come to an end Forget about the number of cases. Focus on the number of deaths. Why are we not recording daily deaths in hundreds or thousands like other countries abroad Abeg, Coronavirus is not for Africa! |
Politics › Re: Coronavirus: Don’t Extend Lockdown, NLC Tells FG by Avalancheman: 12:27pm On Apr 23, 2020 |

allthingsgood: i think the deaths need to get to a number that will force nigerians to have common sense Buhari should lift the lockdown and let people die by choice. By the time you bury your parents and children nobody will tell u before u enter house and lock door Shut up, merchant of evil report. If Coronavirus were deadly in Africa, by now, we all may have been dead. Coronavirus is NOT for Africa! |

maasoap: Good luck to everyone on the streets. Everyone on his own, survival of the fittest. Just heard that governors have agreed on 2 weeks nationwide lockdown The governors actually agreed on inter-state lockdown. There will be free movement within each state. I think that's good enough. And Nigeria's story has always been that of survival of the fittest. |

NigPatriot: What's your point about the death? Too low or what Considering our population, how long the virus has been in the country (January/February) & what has been happening abroad, I want to authoritatively declare that God has been so good to us . Coronavirus is NOT for Africa! If US, Spain, Italy & Co had only 28 deaths after 60days of the virus, we won't be having this noise all over the place. And there will be no lockdown. |

maasoap: Lack of crowd control. We still need to improve in that aspect.
People need stuff, that's for sure. The overall positive aspect is that the rate and the level at which people interact has been greatly reduced.
Because masks or no masks, large gatherings still pose great risks. Visiting markets is even more essential this period than visiting mosques and churches The lockdown has failed. People are now out in Lagos. Only companies and corporate organizations are obeying it at this time. The lockdown should not be extended so that they can resume. Churches will resume too. |

Runs girls don't necessarily get better husbands. They just get husbands when they are ready to. How?
Since they've seen it all, they locate the shy, innocent guys (I can't chase a lady guys)and toast them directly or indirectly. Thereafter they do all it takes to keep their catch. They are ready to apologise even when they are wrong.
They do the calling, texting, checking up and what have you.
They dont even ask for a proposal ring not to talk about bended knees. They just go ahead and start discussing marriage with the innocent guy.
Voila, they get married and live happily ever after. |
