Now compare Nigeria 5,000 tests against reported contacts of over 10,000 and a population of 200m and see the percentage in relation to other countries above.

Are we doing enough tests? Even Niger Republic has done close to 5,000 tests!

What matters is the number of deaths.

Thousand may test positive to the "Nigerian-used" version of the Coronavirus. But they will all(virtually all) surely overcome it with little or no treatment. They may not even show symptoms...

They both started with fewer deaths. People in America called it a mild version of the flu. Italians simply ignored social distancing advice. We are lucky not to have had a bigger number of infected travellers coming into the country.

Had the Coronavirus been able to hit us it is currently hitting them, by now, we would all have been dead.

The best precaution to take (and which should have been taken from the onset) is to prevent foreigners and returnee Nigerians from entering the country.
