Career › Re: Common Interview Questions And What They Mean by avicky(f): 10:03pm On Jul 05, 2012
Wallie: I see that some people tried to also answer the last question. The answer is very simple because you don't have any facts to work with, which means that you can just create a series of assumptions to arrive at the answer. Since you're creating your own assumptions, you might as well make them really simple with numbers you can easily work with. Outrageous questions like that will usually have a very simple answer that just requires you to look at the question differently.
The answer is very simple, yet u couldn't say it. Be explicit! Give a straight forward answer.

I am really impressed especially d motivational aspect.
But please, avoid tautologies like ' d bank I bank with' it could be ' d financial institution I bank with' and 'building d tallest building', can be erecting, constructing or any synonym apart from repeating building. This is my observation!
Waiting impatiently for chapter two.

Mekky2010: This God and prayer factor is exactly the problem we have in Nigeria, my dear, why not dislodge your brake and drive on 3rd mainland bridge, God will definitely grant you journey mercies.

We always want God to do our job, they are people responsible for making sure that our airlines are not air traps, let them do their job first and not transfer it to God. I believe in God and I also believe is sanity and competence simple.
U brought out those words from my mouth.
Thanks for these words of wisdom.

Roland17: To be honest, based on my experience and many others here, i would say, Stay away from Nigerians here, especially those you think are Family here, its hard but its the truth, many times they are nothing but BIG trouble, there are many nice people around, including Akata and other nationals, be very open to interact and communicate with them, they would help you faster than even your own brothers that have been here for Donkey years..

If you are not hard working, patient and cant persevere, please just sit your Lazy behind back in Nigeria and don't bother wasting your flight ticket, because like they say " there is no free lunch in the US"

And when you get here to avoid distraction, Stay away from Facebook etc, Focus on improving yourself based on the skills and education you acquired before coming here.

Lastly, Records are very important, be very careful, because if get into the wrong side of the Law, it stays there for donkey years and affects everything you do for life.

God bless the OP
God bless you too. Thanks for d info.

bayooooooo: Stop spreading ignorance!!!

What's the correlation between road and the stupi$dity of incessant strikes? are they being less paid than their counterparts in other states? Afterall, you are in a country where strike is even illegal in most states? People like you should know better than spreading ignorance.

In the first instance, why were the sacked? Do you follow the history of how they have been embarking on unreasonable strikes here and there? Does that make sense to you? Can you be more powerful than your employer? In your opinion, no matter what, the state government should have pander to their interest. The government should recruit young doctors who are ready to work.
My dear, God bless u for dis reply.
U spoke my mind.
How can these heartless doctors whose first aim is to save lives, are now jeopardising d health of Nigerians. Do u knw how many lives have gone due to their incessant strikeshuh
Since they want money, let them go abroad & get wot dey're looking for & let other dt are jobless take their positions. And many of dem own their private clinics & hosps alike, so dey hav nothing to loose.
So @bayo... Do ur findings, b4 u say anything.
Music/Radio › Re: D'banj Congratulates Don Jazzy On Launch Of Mavin Records by avicky(f): 8:14am On May 08, 2012
iykay4455: Music artiste, Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D'banj has congratulated his one-time business partner and friend Michael Collins Ajereh also called Don Jazzy on the launch of his new record label, Mavin Records.

D'banj, who reached out to Don Jazzy through the social media platform, Twitter, said; "Congrats to my brother and the best producer in Africa Don jazzy on the launch of his new Record Label, MAVIN RECORDS. Wish u all the best."

In response, music producer and owner of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy tweeted; "Thanks bro. God bless you."

The launch of Mavin Record label came on the heels of alleged underground fight going on between the duo seemingly caused by the signing of the G.O.O.D music deal with Kanye West.

On the other hand, an image which makes caricature of the Mavin crew, created by K-Switch, D'banj's brother has been passed round the social media platforms.

The image showed the poster of Mavin Record crew being re-done with photo effects and the names changed from Mavin Records to 'Revenge' and the part that read Solar Plexus changed to 'The Avengers'. There were also names replacing those of the crew members underneath the poster, such as; Captain Mushin, Eagle, Hulk, Russian Spy and Thor.

This act according to many has been viewed as childish considering that D'banj and Don Jazzy appeared to be in talking terms as depicted on their Twitter statuses.
This crazy!!! I can understand that any can represent for northern state since they don't participate in MBGN pageants, but what I don't understand is why would Igbo ladies represent for Yoruba states. It shows that this MBGN thing is one sided and not collectively done with all consent sought.
