you either be a purely career woman with no marriage or take a soft job (teaching, trading, etc) and be a wife. cant have both.
if you want to be a career millionnaire marriage becomes harder.
It would be easier for a man to swallow the pride if she was already married to him then she achieved the success on her own merit. than to achieve it individually and want to marry. Note that I am happy for her success though.

I have heard over 5 incidences of marriages where the man ended up unable to resist the house maid or a new graduate despite the wife at home. In religion it is adultery. This situation out of respect for religion would have been easily been avoided if the man was just honest with himself from the onset and married da wife young and the babe made herself available young.

The funny thing is men are innately attracted to young blood regardless of how politically incorrect it is. Most Nigerian men would marry people over 26 quite alright but they will cheat with younger babes to get a fair share.

most women get married in their late 20s after they have given themselves over to boyfriends. Its a bad deal for the abstaining Christian man seeking only marriage. The woman should be in the early twenties to retain some sexual allure that will be used to seduce the man into marriage coupled with her good behavior of course. 21-28 are good ages.

marriage today is a very very bad deal:

1. the system and courts have given women too much power in marriage.

I actually have a fairly clear understanding of most of what you listed. There is no way on earth that I can sustain a relationship with any girl that my whole spirit and soul isn't in agreement with.

In the case I presented, there was nothing to suggest that she was below 23 when I first saw her. If it was obvious, I wouldn't have even approached her in the first place. It was after I got to know her age that I started wondering if was okay for me to anticipate loving her, considering what I felt and got to know about her.
My concern has been that if I become friends with her, she appears suitable on most grounds for relationship and I develop true love for her, will it be considered right to wife a girl as young as that? Frankly, deep within me, something tells me that I can't pull it through.

I'm not really naïve when it comes to relationship. I've had a great relationship before which lasted for years, but things didn't work out. It was partly my fault anyway. I guess I've been kinda desperate in recent times, looking for a girl who will be as good a friend as the one I lost. I guess I've been desperately looking for another confidant, friend and lover.

I will do what is right, anyway. I won't disappoint God.
I will deliberately keep a distance, and if somehow something stronger connects us together in the future beyond my personal efforts, then I will confidently tell myself that it is the hand of God.
