Business › Re: At ATM Points; Is This The New Form Of Begging? by awa(m): 3:23pm On Aug 08, 2015
My Brother, I think some people are now abusing other peoples' leniency. I have witnessed something like that. I remember visiting one Zenith Bank near CFC in PH to cash some money one Saturday. As I just drove in and parked, I saw one young lady looking stranded in front of the ATM. I went in and greeted her, then inquired from her if the ATM is dispensing Cash and she said her Card has being trapped. I felt since Zenith Bank is my bank, there is no cause for alarm. I quickly cash my money not knowing that she was watching me. As I was about entering my car to zoom off here comes this pretty lady. She started by complaining not having any cash at home and with her ATM trapped she will starved all weekend. First I was deceived by my perception of her as innocent young lady whose case can be suffered by anyone. She pleaded with me to borrow her 10k which she will repay by the coming Monday. I told her I don't loan cash to people but in circumstance, since she came to me asking for the loan instead of begging me, I will borrow her 5k. I wanted to give that 5k in case she failed to pay back. she went as far as giving me her phone number and mentioned her church which is closed to my office in order to persuade on need to borrow her 10k. Surprisingly till today she has not giving me back the 5k she borrowed from me. I have long deleted her number because she was as truthful as acted.
I wish she is reading this....

Sincerely speaking the idea of Mr. President spending say 3 hours to sleep in the night is outright rubbish. Medically, it is totally unhealthy if it becomes a culture. There's nothing heroic about that because either he is not being efficiently productive or his team is just busy soliciting for cheap publicity. Those people celebrating his inability to finish each day's job on time and retire to bed are ignorant of the risk he is exposing himself. Denying himself enough rest all in a bid to prove he is working is outright rubbish considering his age. Mr. Presidential Adviser please advise him rightly before the nation regret such foolhardy.
God bless Mr. President
God bless Nigeria

I am from Igbo tribe and I must confess that I remain proud that the Igbos collectively voted for GEJ despite he lost the election. One thing the election exercise taught me is the love Igbos have for their brother/neighbor from Niger Delta Region. My fore-fathers fought for the same Niger Delta Region some years back and today they are just realizing the motive of the war. The Igbos as a tribe might be the most hated in Nigeria since after the war, our giant stride in commerce and so called "attitude" possibly have earned us this stance. I wish the Niger Delta people (Ijaw, Ikkeres and others) can see the Igbos as their brothers and true neighbors.
I stand to be challenged that GEJ didn't even carried out much developmental projects in the East as he did in the North.

I love success of this nation Nigeria and hope that the so-called partnership with USA so far that cannot warrant them to sale weapons to us to execute the Boko Haram war be revisited. Let's stop fooling ourselves we don't need only America to succeed as a nation.
Osho baba shouldn't start celebrating at the moment. Within the last four years of GEJ administration, I can't remember Osho coming out to challenge the Govt at the centre then but Osho is now praising Buhari.
Most Nigerians are just sycophants honestly.

Surulere,

First of all, I am not happy that you feel your mother has her issues. You are not perfect nor your wife not to talk of your mother. To call your mother "old Witch" is the peak of it all. You are where you are today due to some contribution from your mother. She could have aborted you before nine months yet she didn't because I am sure she loves you. Your wife now calling her "old witch" but calling her own mother Mummy means she is only interested in you and not your family.

Please I won't advise you to declare 3rd World War with her but try and make your wife understand that you are not happy with that. I must advise you to treat your mother with respect before your wife. Let it not be that you gave your wife the audacity to insult your biological mother.
I love my Mummy, wife or no wife. I respect my mother as my Mother and my wife as my Wife. I hope you do same.

Dear Sis,

You may not like this pieces of advice but I have to give it to you still. Please tell him that you want to move on with your life. I am certainly sure he is not serious with you. I work in Telecoms as well and a young man too. I understand the industry he works in. There is no way he will be serious with you and be delaying it for this long. Telecoms is an industry that his financial status won't be in doubt hence, I see no reason he should be playing with your feelings for this long.

Finally, I think you have not been sincere to yourself either. Why on mother earth will you stick around this guy this longhuh??

They should remind him each important thing he might tend to forget easily. He bears the image of all of us.

I won't be quick in assessing the rational behind the Military taking him into custody. We are prosecuting a gorilla-kind of warfare where anything is possible. Let the Security investigate his connection with the Suicide Bomber and if there is no lead then, release him with some small compensation for his time wasted.
If Jack Bauer were to be there, he could have asked why didn't the Driver escalate his suspicion upon take off?

Now a days it's difficult to see bungalows in residential quarters in igbo land. You mostly find duplexes and other forms of mansions. While some still live in mud houses, they are yet to moved to cleans houses with modern root tiles not to talk of having residential quarters with majorly mansions. Yet they have the gut to compare themselves with God's chosen people.

These pictures reminds me of Abiriba. Those people dey build house. Respect to all igbos.

Like femi fani kayode said in one of his articles when he visited chief ojo maduakwe in his Abiriba country home. "I have never seen a place like this in my who life with a concentration of hill top mansions"
Sorry Manchy7531, I think you are wrong with Ojo Maduekwe hometown. He is from Asaga in Ohafia not Abiriba in Ohafia. Truth is that Ohafia People are known with their choice of classic buildings in Ohafia.

May God give the families of those who lost their loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable and perhaps avoidable lost. May God save Nigeria.

However, tomorrow now Amnesty International will shout of war crime if Nigerian Army fights back. Buhari promised to investigate the report of Amnesty International thereby giving the BH boy impetus that they can do anything. Honestly the body language of Mr. President is not helping the success record in February/March of this year before his took-over. Yes he campaigned for CHANGE but changing from manageable Nigeria to worst Nigeria where people are dying daily due to BH boys is too bad. He met Nigerian situation in a bit manageable situation but now I think we might be heading to more issues if nothing is done immediately and speedily.

It is painful that even with the number of deaths recorded lately in the hands of BH boys, some Buaharists are still busy blaming past administration for what is purely lack of tactical and speedy action from the present administration.

May God save Nigeria
Politics › Re: Faces Of Suspected Boko Haram Prisoners Released Today by awa(m): 8:34am On Jul 07, 2015
Hmmmm, Suspected BH released without sharing their findings why they are no longer suspectshuh Dear Lord please may the innocent ones among them continue to be innocent and the actual BH ones among them have change of mind. Releasing them now is not only worrisome but untimely...
The FG is not making some critical decisions timely and I don't see any tactical approach from the FG on sustaining what was achieved during the month of February this year against the insurgence.

May God touch the hearts of these BH guys.
May God bless Nigeria

I hope this is nothing but rumour.
My Sister please don't hope that it is rumor. There is no fire without smoke as the saying goes. Truth is we are often less concern about things going on within our vicinity until it's too late to correct or manage the damages. The moment I heard that the FG intends to relocate some BH Detainees, I knew the new administration has no good intention for the eastern region. There might be no empirical evidence to confirm that FG is already doing that but leakage of this intel should be a warning signal for many of us.
I am sure the signs we are seeing now may not be away from the signs that preceded 1967 fracas...
The FG owes this nation it's oneness...

You love her most as your wife and loves your Tolu most as your child. Loves your mother most as your mother....
You can't compare your love for your child with your love for your wife.. She should have asked that question if you married them two
