Obviously from the numerous posts I have read here, it is glaring that most Nigerians are in full support of the fine slashed on MTN for defaulting. I think I will fully comment after conclusion of this issue between NCC and MTN. Example must be set after all other Nigeria firms like UBA and First Bank were fined too. MTN therefore is not a scapegoat at all |
There's hunger in this nation. The Govt only tells us there's no money without telling us ongoing effort so far made to put food on the table despite their much talked about war against corruption and recovered loots. May God help us in this country. Say change. .... |
This man wey ask this question, are you aware of the basic qualification of President of the most Populous black nation on earth? |
Bro it is very possible that you can even earn far much more than that. Just pray God to fix you up to the right place |
Tell your friend to soft-pedal. .. but if na you then be careful |
What a miss by my people |
Naija 3 we need more goals to seal this game now |
What a goal |
lolaxavier:Did you at least read their concerns this time around before calling them Wailers? You aren't doing your nation service by not saying YES to some thoughts that can move us forward. Lets learn to be bipartisan |
Macgreat:While you are just asking, I want to inform you that your question shows your poor knowledge in History. South-South have so many Igbos. The Igbo nation is not begging anyone to join us. Wike is an Igbo and he can't deny that and as an Igbo living in PH I will always support him |
I am not from Rivers State but with huge interest in Rivers State and I think the FG via the Judiciary is just looking for a way to bring serious Political crisis in the State. Rivers State is not the only State where there were couple of abnormalities in the election but the people of Rivers State and the Resident of the State will say NO to any Crisis |
I can't believe I just wasted my time watching escaping BHT boys without the NA striking any of them. Funniest clip I have seen lately |
nawtibownie:Dearie, I have read your comment and I quote: I won't give a lazy husband who's not ready to work up to half of my salary because he's definitely going to blow it up; once again, however, I still can't see where you mentioned or inferred a husband unwilling to work at all. If your husband is working at all then, he must be earning Salary. In Nigeria today, salaries are often times prerogative of Employers to fix. Well, based on your explanation I think your comment is rather connotative than denotative. Next time, I suggest you try to break it down in simpler ways for some of us to truly understand. We no go Cambridge ohhh.... On a friendly note, how is your day going and hope you would be willing to share with me if.... |
nawtibownie:If your husband is not earning up to half of your salary doesn't necessarily mean he is lazy. We should be mindful of what we say out here. Assuming you get married without a job and while in your husband house God bless you with a job paying five times your husband's salary does that mean you will not be helpful to him with cash considering the fact he was sustaining the family much earlier from that same meager salary? Ask God for forgiveness concerning your comment above. Despite how merciful He might be God may not give us some opportunity knowing how we would arrogantly claim the glory for such favor. By strength shall no man prevail. You are appreciated... |
sorextee:Bros, hmmm don't say I didn't warn you this one that your neighbor's housegirl don dey strip for you. Prepare to pack out the compound before we go read for Nairaland say fellow Nairalander commit konjidynamics... |
omowolewa:Some Yorubas and empty threats... Laughs @Biafria who is already acting their treat |
Pray and work on getting out of this. You have started in the right direction by seeking support from people. You can consult a Psychologist too... |
They would simply tell you there is nothing wrong with it even though they claimed to be saving cost for the nation... |
As much interesting as the story might have sounded, there is still something that the Couple should watch out for. The issue of asking frustrating questions to each other. They might need to work on the relationship further. I wish them all the very best... |
That is fine but I wish she could come back home to be one of the Senators because we are currently in short of true Leaders in her fatherland.... |
I thought they are not among the 5% Voters? |
That should have been true spirit of Africa.... |
prettyboi1:Prettyboi, the quote was not my intellectual property hence I had to react based on it. Thanks for educating me on the connotative and denotative usage of the word in context. That's merit of wazobia. |
gists:I rest my case, at least we have found a common premise in our discussion. "No comment" was an option I gave but read me again and see for yourself other options. However, I think in reality Patriotism would never be out of the window for any nation that wants to build truly democratic and egalitarian society. We can only protect ourselves by protecting the society and that forms the UBUNTU ideology I shared with you earlier. Thanks for having had such a mature conversation with me devoid of name-callings which seem to have characterized NL lately |
gists:Thanks for calling it ministerial screening which makes it a national engagement. Are you aware there is something they call patriotism which all Potential Ministers must have? Let's define Patriotism as love of one's country or devotion to the welfare of one's Compatriots or the passion which inspires one to serve one's country. Granted you accept one of the definitions, then for the sake of those assumed Chibok families missing their children, tell me or other NLs if his own family worth being celebrated during national screening above any other family in Nigeria? Being frank and candid or not does not mean you sell yourself off. His sworn duty would be for the overall interest of Nigeria not his family. It is only when we apply the principle of UBUNTU that this country would be a better place for all the federating Units. Just in case you forgotten about the ideology of UBUNTU, I oblige to explain it simply as a South African principle focusing on People's allegiances and relations with each other. I did my NYSC in Bauchi some many years back and I can clearly remember how many times I survived one riot or the other in the north during those days. I can equally remember the "Body Language" (apologies to APC for copyright infringement) of the people each time the crisis is over. The few Islamic elites, I know then, are readily available to term it handiwork of miscreants. Bros, I love north and Muslims so much that I can't afford to disparage the people but let truth be told in spirit of true nationalism. |
sweetgala:Sweetgala, I do understand your angle but there is one thing our Leaders should understand about public speech by public officials. It is better you don't answer such question or better still apply the highest level of wisdom in answering it. What about answer like this: This is a sensitive issue which we may not discuss now. Okay what about No comment... finish. Must he tell us that he wants to protect his family Those other family killed day in day out nko? These same Moderate Muslims despite how painful the situation is incubated this situation until it went sour like this. What were they encourage those little boys roaming round the streets up north some years back? Poverty might have contributed to where we are now in North East but these same BH boys were celebrated as Almagiris when they were killing non-Muslims at every slightest provocation. Now they have graduated into Monsters, the benefactors-turned-Victims are afraid... |
For making this statement, i think this man is not just a sympathizer but also might be in the know of the Boko Haram guys' activities or vice versa. Hear this and I quote: “They can claim to be anything,” the ministerial nominee. “They even claim to be a Christian; but if you are Christian and still goes to babalawo (herbalist), you are not really a Christian. what kind of stupid analogy is this Who said herbs given by Herbalists cannot be used to cure a christian sickness? I weep for this nation and it's leaders... |
Whatever... let them just make sure people intels are well secured because some idiots might start nosing around about people privacy through them. |
This is man is not sincere. Why are you telling us this? Why didn't you collect the money from the former Minister and return it to Nigeria before coming out to say such trash? APC is indeed a bunch of attention seekers here and there. They are not the true Democrats we need in Nigeria. |
This is the most lovely and encouraging stuff I have ever read in NL since 2005 I joined barely few weeks Seun open this Website. God bless you real good. |
managermahmud:Mahmud, for your information by the time you win your SUG Presidential election come 2016 Insha Allah, the welfare of all the Student body becomes your responsibility whether there is SRC or the Judiciary arm or not. Please if you know that you are going there with this mindset expressed above better drop your ambition now or I will make sure I storm IBB University to campaign against you. Shekinaaaaaa. |
