Thanks for the adviçe man, I really appreciate! I've not even really started with the dumps yet. I have gns3 but I've been having issues getting the needed ios images as they aren't open source which means I have to stick with PT for now. Issue with PT is some commands just don't seem to work and it can be a bit frustrating. Tried to use a router as a DHCP server recently, was able to put in the excluded addresses, pool, networks, etc only to find out that the sh IP DHCP bindings didn't come up with anything. The sh IP DHCP ? command didn't even list pool as an option. Ended up having to use a generic server to meet the objective in the end. Anyways, are you a certified CCNA/P. Hopefully I can get my MCSA and CCNA before the year runs out at this rate. This thread has been really educative.

ple help me send Packet Tracer and GNS3 file to my mail ple .

There are thousands of free tutorials on YouTube but those ones wouldn't teach as those who do it for a living. You cant tell me those Instructors are as better as Cisco Certified and Recommended Instructors. And yes, those tutors did it because they are willing to help others. The other videos (INE and CBT) are copyrighted, you are not allowed to share them and even if you do, it's illegal.

I understand you're not financially buoyant but you're investing in your future and career. So do what you feel is right for you. You never know who is sniffing around. If someone gets a hold of your name and ID and report it, you would get a total life-ban and that's Cisco for you. It's serious.
The INE videos you're probably talking about must have been recorded by Brian and I know him, well not on a personal level but I know how hard it is to record long minutes of videos. How do you think this same individual would feel if he finds out the countless numbers of hours he spent recording those clips didn't really pay off because it was being distributed freely on a forum?

And to be honest, most people who study for CCNA wouldn't want to spend hundreds and thousands dollars for it, most especially someone from Nigeria when everything dey computer village. If you've got a good internet access, YouTube is even more than enough. There are hundreds of it, you go watch you go tire lol.

All the best on your cert exams. smiley
thanks man. . .you sealed it all.

I'm sorry but I will not entertain such ideas on this thread. This tutors worked hard to come up with this Videos. Believe me it's not easy and I don't think they'll be happy seeing this from people who are studying to certify themselves. Please refrain from such idea as it is piracy and just so you know, Cisco is really grumpy about such. It could land you a life-ban.

If you don't believe me, I can show you a post on which Narbik reported someone sharing his workbook on Facebook.
i quiet agree with you, but thats not always true all the time, because tutors have their different motives why they do video tutorial. In my quest to get a self based tutorial, i meet several Author whose aim was to teach aspirant through their free video tutorial { eg search EMRAN CCNA on youtube}. Please dont generalise because of a scenario.

Thats always true for most cases but not true for all case.

Secondly, i am not financially bouyant, just have to do with the Free Training Available(Authors motive(free video) to empower people like me), what i can afford is my time and brain, do you expect me to sit back due to my financial situation, i just have to do with what i find available.

Thanks.

Further to the above I have made a compilation of materials that can be helpful for preparation which can be accessed at the following site:
www.dropbox.com using the following details:

user: raonanuga

Pass: nairaland

On access you would see 15 video tutorials on Shl numerical tests, they give useful insights on short-cut methods of solving questions to save precious time.

Also an archive of relevant pdf materials, which requires winrar software to unpack.

I highly recommend www.graduatemonkey.com for people who want access to premium TEST Preparation with mock tests similar to the real test i used it myself.

I wish u all success.

both courses should be at par... And some courses from the arts/humanities alongside d faculty of edu. Ought to be on this list

if some course from art/humanities alongside the faculty of edu be on the list.

It did be more than TEN.

i agree that all this courses are tough but i think art/humanities/edu are less tough compared to the list above.

Its just a personal opinion.
If you like open another thread and make a list of any course you like and say they are the toughest, it doesnt change any fact. That all course are tough depending on the individual.

So forget this tough issue.
May i meet you.

Are you kidding ? All these certs within 12 months ? I wouldn't advice you to do so because believe it or not, that's a big BRANNDUMPING. And no, with anything you could get a job anywhere, it depends on what the company requires. All these certs within a short duration is not impossible but an HR would think a lot more than twice before hiring such a candidate. These are technical certs and certs doesn't even guarantee you a job, it just gets you through the door to an HR. Don't rush it, start gradually. Believe me, you'll understand when you're halfway through CCNA R&S. I once had a friend who said the same thing - I want to do it all in a year CCNA - CCNP - CCIE. Let's just say after a study hours on CCNA, he dropped it. Don't do it for the sake of the certs, do it for the knowledge.

itcolony:

Thanks for the concern. I started studying for Cisco CCNA since march 2015 and I know I understand the concept very well. I try to study 12 hours in a day with the best video tutorial (CBT NUGGETS) and I have watch almost all the certification videos

For me, i just need to re watch it, revise some basic concepts then write the exams. I probably know my programming background has really help me cos I learnt to watch long hours of videos and the power of google search with programming.

I try to do practical with packet tracer and GNS3. For me, CCIE LAB is the main challenge in networking. Thats when I know I must have good experience with Live networking equipment not simulation.

And Job I have a friend in Dubai who hopefully promise to fix me up. I just pray I get good job to finance my web startups.

i still think you take things slow and steady.

I think Experience takes a big part in your job hunt, within the IT/TELECOM Industry.
