There is no visible setting to toggle the proximity sensor on and Off

There are only two possible solutions

1 The screen guard of your phone is blocking the proximity sensor. The proximity sensor is on top of the screen close to the camera. Remove the screen guard and buy one that doesn't block the proximity sensor from working.
2 The proximity sensor is faulty that means you have to take it to Raya...

But also know that If your phone is on speaker the backlight will remain on

It's the normal boring and primary stock android. It has no UI and requires that most apps be downloaded.

At 720p the Amoled only makes sense indoors. Under direct sunlight unlike its pairs it isn't visible.

Instead of wasting your money away buying techno and infinix devices that will start having issues as soon as 6 month from when you bought it, why not register on Ali express, search for better phones in their mobile phone sections ( make sure you select global version for any mobile fone you want to buy) and then pay for anyone that suits your need. I'll personally recommend Xaomi or Realme devices, it will get to your closest post office in maximum of 3 weeks.

The only drawback of the mi A3 is the 720p Amoled display meaning that it is not a bad display but it cannot be compared with the one used by 1080p phones such as the Samsung A30 and other full high definition display Amoled. In terms of display, the a30 is better than the mi A3 but the positive is that it ends there.
The miA3 is better than redmi note 7 except one is fixed on Miui, does not care too much about stock camera, power consumption of the CPU.

All things being constant, the miA3>Rn7>A50>A40>A30

please note that the major advantage of stock Android is faster and longer updates, with the only negative of it being boring and lacking features that comes with the personal UI of the OEM
