More than two years no blink of light ; the only things they boast of in ibeju lekki is high cost of rent , expensive land, and real estate development, there's zero social amenities for the common man to enjoy in this axis

expensive land at Ibeju lekki ? I don’t know what you mean by expensive but 2m Naira land is not expensive in Lagos in fact you can still get land for 1.5m in some areas while some area with c of o is between 10m to 15m that’s not expensive sir

Ibeju lekki local government is one of the worst local government area in Lagos to reside. When I mean ibeju lekki am talking about awoyaya , lakowe than to eleko and ibeju communities
This communities hardly get electricity while some doesn't get electricity at all. With high cost of living, bad roads , and high cost of rent people living here aren't aware of the bondage they are in untill they leave to live in another part of Lagos.
I visited lakowe last week and it took me 4hrs to get to lakowe from Victoria island Lagos
I was living at this ibeju lekki local government untill I moved out to Lagos mainland 5yrs ago and that has been on of my best decision so far

I don’t think you are familiar with the road before now, the road is currently under construction from Eleko junction to Abraham Adesanya, the first phase from Eleko junction to Epe was completed last year and hopefully by next year they will complete this second phase too. Eleko to Epe used to be nightmare before but not so anymore very soon Eleko to Abraham Adesanya road will wear a new look. Electricity issues in the country is very poor not only in Ibeju lekki. use your sense nah if you work hard for money at 18 and you want to buy a car it won’t be for a student in Nigeria…..4.5m is not a small money for student at 18 lavish on car that will not bring any returns to him weekly or monthly. Investing the money at the age he is will help him to be financially independent after school. Please 🙏 think well if he really financially okay he won’t go for Nigeria used car. I have sent possibly more than 80 applications and fortunately, I got called by a few.

I have exhausted scarce resources to attend interviews, editing and re-editing resumes to fit a certain role and position, cost of transportation, I don't want to even mention having to trek a long distance sometimes due to lack of fund to pay Tfare. I mean someone is broke and hungry and trying his best to land a job but he's rather receiving rejection mails. What is this?

On Monday, I received a rejection mail from automobile company where I applied for a marketing role. On Tuesday, I received another one from a production factory.

Now I just returned from another job hunting only to open my mail and saw another rejection mail. This very one pain me most because I had high hope on it and i have spent so much on it too. During the second stage of the interview, I can remember how I waited from 8am till 5pm just to see 'Oga', and after seeing him, I began to walk my way home and got home late. I know i'm sounding sentimental here but it's so annoying that i went through all that 'ontop empty belle' and at the end, I wasnt offered the job.

Very very painful and morale killing.

I feel so bad right now.

Feels like the world has crashed.

Feels like everything has finished.

Feels like everything has ended.

Feels like more hunger for me ahead ahead.
