Like you said it's part of the training. But if one is rightly pointed to the right scriptures and the teachings of Christ, eyes will be open.

Few weeks back I couldn't properly discern false teachers, but with bible studies with some friends; I'll tell you that my eyes are open. Real fast. What took some years might take you days.

Not that I don't use to have that feeling of this saying or teaching is or might be wrong, but now I have an upgraded knowledge and joyfully reject false teachings.

What you should say is; no one of even God will force you to go the right way.

You know like Junior rightly said, we do have problem discerning.

We should be thought how to discern both in the house of God and outside.

It's just that you've got what it takes those men years to know within 1 - 2 hrs of listening and your spirit is now in tune to that.

Your spirit will rather want to be fed than to search. It's usually like that when you are new to listening, reading messages or you just found a preacher your spirit agrees with.

The good thing is you've identified the gap or problem. Now stay from them and go up to the mountain like the disciples will do and ask Christ direct questions yourself (peggywebs also mentioned something similar).

I don't mean you should do away with their teachings. It doesn't mean that those men are evil but some will boost you so fast and your spirit might not be ready. For example listening to Bishop Benson Idahosa would make you hunger for power. He would challenge you.
