This is what many children of God always fail to understand... Any time I speak in a gathering I always explain what I speak I won't even tell the people hearing this is the interpretation that childish so that is how the thing works

The OP created the thread to speak about one topic which is speaking in tongues and has provided evidence why the church should not neglect this too like the other gifts. And he has been polite and patient from the beginning.

Even if you disagree why not do it in a loving way and out of a good conscience. Why earnestly looking out for "a fault, or a loophole" so you can lash out on a brother that Christ died for?

If you think prophesy is better, you are right cos the Bible says so and the OP is not arguing against that. But tongues are still good and edify the person or the church when there is interpretation.

Bible already says praying in tongues is speaking with God

And that romans shows how holy spirit helps us to pray in words which can not be uttered that does not mean that that is the only methods which he uses read Corinthians to see other method he uses... Like speaking in tongues

Love is not a power gift love is a requirement for all creatures and love is inbuilt so it is not among power gift, love will never end it can not stop but speaking in tongues will end when Jesus comes, miracle will end etc

So am talking about power gift which is needed now that devil is on the rampage speaking in tongues is a power gift which is not in the class of love love is on a forever dimension

Sending money to parents is more important that tithe, tithe has been abolish since the day Jesus die on the cross, however it's good to gives for the work of God but it should not be tag or called tithe because whosoever pay tithes or collect tithes will be judge according to the laws .

I saw that but chose to focus on that title since we live in a world where so many claim to be true worshipers yet with little to no knowledge of the New Covenant Law, or what role those who belong to Jesus Christ truly occupy in this world.

Jesus Christ came to calls us as heirs/Sons of God and He also made it known that only those who become like children will enter into Heaven. So the idea of men and women of God is off as far as the Kingdom of God and this because of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Anyone who follow Him would submit to these titles instead of seek their own, in my opinion.

Well, look at all those who call themselves men of God. Can you point to at least one who does not somehow see his/herself occupying the same shoes and office as those written of in the Old Covenant, this even as they claim to be of Jesus Christ?

There are no such men in the New Covenant because that need for intercession between people and God has been eliminated by Jesus Christ. Instead every man has direct connection to God in the New Covenant - every person who belongs to God in His New Covenant is a prophet .

The key differences between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant are

OLD COVENANT, YHWH
● Given by God to His people through Moses
● An agreement between God and the descendants of Jacob .I.e. everyone born of the blood of Jacob is born bound to the agreement
● Promise of Life(Eternal) and Death(cessation upon death) to the children of Israel according to whether they obeyed or refused to obey the Law.
●God's Law in the Land of Canaan

NEW COVENANT, Jesus Christ
● Given to everyone who will submit and obey through Jesus Christ
● An agreement between God and individuals men - not peoples or nations
● Promise of Life(Eternal) to all who believe, and Eternity in either of Heaven or Hell for those who submit and those who refuse to obey the Law
● God's Law in the Kingdom of God

If you see, the Old Covenant people belong in the land of Canaan,whereas those of the New Covenant are people who belong in the Kingdom of God. Elijah, the one you posted of earlier, is of the Old Covenant and so of the Land of Canaan. Whereas those who belong to Jesus Christ are of the Kingdom of God.
