Errr... A circle is not a sphere. Circles are flat. The author knew no better and described a flat Earth.

Ancient Greeks used a simple experiment to establish that Earth was spherical without traveling into space. Eratosthenes already knew that earth is a ball and was the first to measure it's scope.

The Jewish cosmology saw the earth as a flat disk, with "the pillars of the earth" holding up a "firmament", a sort of dome above, with heavenly realms above that, from which god would be gazing down, with the nether regions of Sheol below. This verse is entirely consistent with that ancient cosmology. As one would expect.

Flat earthers claim the Bible says the earth is flat. One of the problems with these holy books is they can be made to give life to any interpretation since there really isn't any arbiter. If your god exists he would make sure there was only a single way the words could be interpreted since he would be the arbiter of it.

I understand what 1 Corinthians 10 says, it is however your understanding of it that is in question though, since you seem to suppose it implies the words of men, and demons and devils are suddenly become the word of God.

God is True and the Word of God, Jesus Christ, is Truth, meaning every other word, written even in scripture, are nothing but lies until validated against the Truth, Jesus Christ.

You do understand that God is True and so His Word is Truth, so saying the words or Satan, demons demons the lot also written of in the Bible is all God's words is declaring them all Truth, meaning Jesus Christ lied when He said He alone was the Truth out of God's mouth.
