Look in the past that the presidency has been to the south it has always been a Christian president. Obasanjo, Jonathan. Osinbajo as vice president. But we have Muslims in the south also they must also get a shot at the presidency. Who a southern Muslim Presidential candidate now choses to run with is his decision. South west Muslims have voted for a southern Christian president before. It is now the turn of we south west Christians to reciprocate and vote a south west Muslim. Not doing so would set a bad precedent which we don't want. When we had a Christian as the president we had insecurity issues. Even with a Christian Christian ticket what will be will be. I pity people who thinks other parties have any chance with Tinubu contesting. There is no way he would not get at least 8 million votes in the south west come next elections. We take the process one step at a time. We are in Ekiti now. As soon as Ekiti is in the bag, we move to Osun. After Osun you now see the mother of all publicity for Jagaban. Will you vote for Tinubu and APC? Do you think he would win? If he will not win does it matter if he fields Muslim-Muslim ticket? We have tried Muslim Christian and even Christian Muslim, where we better off? As Nigerians actually we don't know what is good for us and we will continue to be where we are. People don't think Tinubu will win. They don't want him to win but they are concerned about Muslim-Muslim ticket. Why you should be concerned about what somebody does, whom you don't think will win baffles me. Tinubu and APC should go ahead and pick their choice VP please. What will be will be. Even if he choses a Christian, people who have vowed never to vote him, won't still vote for him. Tinubu is a true representation of what the Yorubas are as a people. We aren't religious bigots.
