A Nigerian took to Facebook to share his candid opinion on Joy isi Bewaji's Criticism of Nathaniel Bassey's 'Halleluyah Challenge'. Please read patiently. I have been seeing “Halleluyah Challenge” for days without paying attention until one of my trusted senior personality Peter Oshinoiki told me in a meeting last week Friday at exactly 6pm about the awesomeness of the challenge. He shared the beauty of the huge 60 minutes. Few days later while on our way for an engagement, the first thing he said was, did you join….I kept quiet? That same night, I connected to see what was going on and in less than 35 seconds of connection, some clarity was made and some refuelling in the spirit were done as well as direction and focus was birthed strongly. It’s indeed a movement. It’s a great thing to be part of. Some people leave for work as early as 4am in Lagos, Nigeria and come back as late as 10pm and still connect to “Halleluiah Challenge”. Some had to deny themselves a lot of sleep in order to connect. Some had to deny their spouse these 60 minutes in order to create the atmosphere of reverence for GOD. This is huge movement shows if we are willing to cause a change we have the needed forces to actualize it. It does mean we have the spirit of service and sacrifice inside of us which will inspire us physically to use the gift GOD gave us our “Mind” to build our world and create the shift that will move the nation forward. Christianity that builds some western nations got to Africa to be a means of demonstrating selfishness and self- centeredness. Some sees it as an the opportunity to prey on citizens, exploit humanity while some use it as a tool for division in all forms of ramifications by the virtue of their self-acclaimed revelation leading to personal doctrine used for those who are too busy to study their bible, pray and meditate every day so as to put the word of GOD into work on earth. It is well written in the bible My PEOPLE perish for lack of Knowledge. Nathaniel Bassey yielded to an unusual instruction. We drive by common sense. We fly by instructions. No matter how knowledgeable you are, if you don’t listen to instruction while flying, the plane will crash. If you are driving, a passenger can point out something, correct or advice the driver but if you are flying an aircraft, no passenger opinion has a weight or count because you fly by instruction. But what happens if the pilot ignores the instructions? The question is what if – “Nathaniel Bassey ignores “the great instruction”. I saw another message insulting Joy Isi Bewaji which made me look for the reason for such a thick comment from a fellow human being to another. Even though she made a lot of statement, our focus must be the truth that concerns us in so as to run with it. If I may ask, Of what use is going to school and not been able to read and write Of what use is eating and still unhealthy. The food we eat is to aid physical growth and if this is not happening, it does mean something is wrong. Of what use is contributing money for transformer in your street and they refuse to bring the transformer? Will you contribute if they come again? Behind every instruction is a reason and action. The reason is first which will inspire you to act. But what if we place action first without understanding the reason for the action, we will fall a victim. The REASON we are discussing is what is known as “Purpose” of the instruction. God gave Nathaniel Bassey that instruction for a reason to fan the flame of greatness in some of us who might have lost the fire so as to run the race. The reason is also end to move us by the spirit and cause the needed change that is good for GOD and man. This is why another person was raised to communicate the reason for the challenge to many people who really cannot connect the super world with natural world to be supernatural. I read Joy Isi Bewaji Post and I saw her conviction and belief and her concern as well as her love for her nation. She wants great nation just like we all want great nation. Eventhough we are in the world and not of this world tells us that we must model to the world what it means to live, to love, to learn and leave a legacy in all facet of our life which must be done by us. Angels will not do this but we that are in Nigeria will do this. Sometimes God uses some people to get our attention in order for us to get things done rightly. He uses a donkey to communicate to a prophet some years back which means he can use anybody to talk to you. There are some people that will cause the heat to be hit so as to cause us to take necessary action that is needed to create an environment that works for GOD and man. Some nations of the world ignore some things like this and are paying for it- are we? King Herod kills John the Baptist in Act 4 and he sees that it pleases the Jews; he took Peter before he could get the attention of the church? Is it until we lose all the privileges that we will do the right things? What if when he picked John, the church had resisted him? Would he have killed John and would someone had said that was johns's destiny? If we use social media for great things and it is changing things, a time will come that some evil will say they are offended by our actions and try to regulate the usage in order to stop the order. This will be carried because they have the political power, economic power and networking as well as backing of some so called civilised and enlightened young people especially Christians and what we will do is to still pray and pray and pray. But if some people who are sold to gospel are in position of authority to do the right things, do you thing all this injustices will fly? and do you think Christianity is meant to be a life of hope and victims only? No way……… But if we can convert the hugeness of purpose, corporate anointing and highness of creativity together to change our world, I believe we can all do become the change we are praying for. This is why we should not demonize “Joy isi Bewaji” write up but pick the one that we have to run with. Take her post as another instruction that is making your training from GOD through his servant Nathaniel Bassey for Reigning in your field. Remember the word understanding means Comprehension, Discernment and Interpretation. If 65,000 people can cause a change in spiritual realm, we can as well do it physically. If over 65,000 people holding their voters card can cause a shift in political history. A pastor friend of mine said to me – Mr Tayo… look at the population at Excellence in Leadership Conference and we are all Christian- is it that we are not enough that we cannot even cause the massive change in our world? What if over 65,000 people donating 1000 naira monthly to equip schools and take care of the teachers so that the teachers can give their best to the students instead of living the teachers to the Government alone? What if over 65,000 people can join a cause and write a petition to go against inimical laws that may consume the nation if it is not check What if over 65,000 people can cause a major shift by equipping libraries that will cause the next generation to continue from where we stop. I know someone will say e- library is better but we complain about every church in street. Remembet those who really needed it don’t care any e-….,all they want is physical result and proof. What if over 65,000 can redesign the educational curriculum that will inspire and institute creativity, innovation, fina ncial intelligence so as to turn out young billionaires who are willing to contribute instead of taken from the nation. In conclusion, we are all on a mission, a great mission to make your name the dream. You Can Be The Dream. Remember truth is not bitter, it is heavy. It is only few that can carry it. Olukat:Who is trying to defend any Senator here? Who cares if all of them are recalled? Are they not all rogues? I am a serious minded Nigerian, I do not do APC or PDP nonsense. Dino is the one under fire now, he should go and defend himself by telling the people of his constituecy what he has done for them for which reason he should not be recalled. Enough is enough, people cannot just go to the National Assembly and be representing their own interest and thier families rather than people who voted them. |
Olukat:You mean more bold men like Dino that will be bold enough to utter rubbish on the floor of the Senate like saying he will f*vk a woman of over sixty years old. Bold as in to be too petty and childlish to travel all the way from Abuja to Bourdillion just to prove that Tinubu cannot hurt him, to release an album showing how stupid he is and to flaunt his wealth he amassed at the expense of the people right in their eyes. My friend you dnt know what you are talking about. |
May God forbid me to check their names..... |
Go there in the company of a lawyer or anybody as a witness, they cannot harm you. You reported in the first instance because you do no want to encourage corruption, you should show the will to see through your conviction that corruption should not be encouraged. |

Probably one of the car owners who is happy over VIO ban. He would not have brought that vehicle out if VIOs were still around. Government should get ready for more of this now. |
...Says Officers On Training To Enhance Service Delivery The Lagos State Government on Tuesday clarified the absence of Officials of the Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) from roads in the State, saying that the move was gear towards rejigging the operations and strategies to enhance service delivery. Reports in some section of the media on Monday had purportedly claimed that the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has banned the VIS from being on Lagos Roads. But the government in a statement signed by the Acting Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Anofiu Elegushi, said the information circulating in the media was far from the truth, stating emphatically that the State Government has not in any way banned the VIS in the State from discharging its responsibilities. Elegushi said: "For the avoidance of doubt, it is noted that the VIS is visibly off the road to facilitate the training of its personnel, especially with respect to a new regime of enforcement as dictated by the new thinking with respect to available technical know-now of enforcement. "To avail Lagosians the benefit of the new Radio Frequency Identification data base and Automatic Number Plate Recognition acquired for the outfit, appropriate training is required. The State Government has thus commenced the training of the VIS personnel to adapt and deploy the two modern technologies of enforcement, like what is obtainable in the 21st century." He said the recent step by the State Government was part of its commitment to make VIS more civil in approach and to operate in line with best practices. Elegushi said the Agency was also carrying out routine public enlightenment campaign at motor parks and other public places, including their VIS Centres, in order to further educate and sensitize Lagosians of their roles and obligations in terms of safety of lives and property on our roads. "While it bears restating that the enforcement is important, our enforcement strategy will take a totally different pattern with less emphasis on impoundment on the roads, a situation that does not augur well for the vision of a functional Lagos of the 21st Century. "We will also like to call owners to partner with us and ensure that appropriate certifications are obtained before they put their vehicles on the road. It is the way of civilised people and Lagosians must act accordingly", the Acting Commissioner said. Elegushi also restated the State Government's confidence in the discipline, patriotism and dedication to duty of the VIS officials. Signed Anofiu Olanrewaju Elegushi Ag. Hon. This is an old news as it happens over a month ago. The VIO's are already working on returning back to the road. The media just woke up to the news. |

I studied Philosophy and I have had no regret. I am currently a VIO. Before that I have done some number of jobs. Your not being able to secure a job yet is a general Nigerian thing and has nothing to do with your course of study. It is not as if everyone who studied science based courses in Nigeria all have jobs already. Even doctors now search for job in Nigeria. As a Philosopher when I talk at my office and everywhere people keep quiet and marvel at the amount of problem solving skills you have. Do not let anybody deceive you, you should know the kind of discipline you studied and be ready to explode when you get the chance. |
ayoolab:Road Worthiness Certificate, Drivers License, Insurance Certificate, Vehicle License, LASDRI for people who are paid drivers, Hackney Permit for Commercial Vehicles. Not having any one of them attracts a minimum fine of N20,000. I can guide you if you want to do any one of those documents. |
MMMscam:The VIO cannot arrest all vehicles in a day and it those not matter how new your vehicle is, you can still be an offender. The VIOs arrest all sort of vehicles whether rickety or new. Like I said, they cannot they cannot arrest all offenders in a day, just pray you are not unfortunate to encounter them when you dö not have all your car documents complete. And it does not matter whether you are rich or poor. As a matter of fact the real VIO customers are the rich people. Maybe you want to talk about people having the right contacts in which case I have seen poor people being arrested and set free without a fine just because they had the right contacts to call when they run into trouble with VIOs. I know what I am talking about because I worked in a VIO Office. |
If your vehicle documents are up to date no VIO will be able to terrorise you. For your vehicle documents renewal, contact Ayo on 08183844095 or visit VIS Office, Wharf Zone and ask of Ayo. |
