For me to prove if He exists, you must be very versed in histories and believe they happened, just as you do quote once existed atheists, who you don't where they are as we discuss, but my Jesus said He is going to prepare a place for me.

My belief is tangible, concrete and defined. I am not just living for living sake, but for a purpose as promised.

To prove if He exists, answer this questions as well versed you are in histories/occurrences and researches;

1. Do you know the Isrealites were once captives in the land of Egypt, and do you know how they were set free?

2. Do you know a man called Jesus Christ who was around more than 2000 years ago who died and resurrected the third day?


If you don't know of those as history claims, but you know and read of some who didn't believe God exists, then I rest my case.

And if you know of those, but still believe they are all lies and religious propaganda, but you believe in those who said God exists not, then I still rest my case.

Religious People Are Suffering & They Need Our Help

People often ask outspoken atheists why they like to argue with religious people. "If you don't believe in God", they ask, "why do you spend so much time attacking people's religious beliefs?" They often respond by saying, "religious people keep trying to impose their religious beliefs on us through evangelism and politics, so we have to defend ourselves." Atheists who don't feel threatened usually choose to remain silent. I used to be a pretty quiet atheist myself, until I noticed something about religious people that I hadn't noticed before. Religious people are suffering!

Religion is not a harmless delusion. It's not a benign folly that merely wastes people's time. It's a malignant malady that systematically robs the majority of humanity of their freedom, pleasure, joy, comfort, knowledge, intelligence, health, money, lives, and much more. It would be selfish of us as atheists who are free from religion not to make every effort to free people from religion so that they can have much better lives.

Many religious people are not allowed to have blood transfusions. This means thousands of religious men, women and children have died from treatable medical conditions, such as pregnancies with any kind of complications, non-fatal car accidents, treatable gunshot wounds, etc. simply because they are not allowed to accept blood transfusions. So many children have become orphans needlessly; so many men and women became widows and widowers; so many fathers and mothers lost their children. All because of a religious rule that make no sense at all.

Many religious people are forbidden by their religions from enjoying most of the good things in life. Things like secular or instrumental music, fine art, poetry, sculpture, owning dogs, wearing make-up, friendship with the opposite sex, eating ram meat, eating sausages, pleasuring yourself or the opposite sex, watching fantasy movies or reading fantasy novels like harry potter, making friends outside the religion, dancing, tattoos, playing ludo because it relies on luck, barbie dolls, sexy clothes etc. Can you imagine what your life would be like if you had to forgo most of these wonderful things? Horribly boring. You'd probably kill yourself. I guess that's why many religious people are violent.

Most religious people believe in the afterlife. As a result, instead of focusing on the current life and making it as enjoyable as possible for themselves, their friends, and family members, they often endure shitty and miserable lives in the hope that they'll be rewarded after they die. An extreme case of this is the case of suicide bombers and religious fighters who embrace violent deaths for the sake of an imaginary paradise.

Many religious people are pressured to give a sizable proportion of their income to the religious establishments they worship with. Poor people are taught that the best way to get rich is not to save their money and invest in education and entrepreneurship, but to "sow" it by giving it to their rich religious leaders who will use it to live flamboyantly, and build religious monuments to attract more cash cows. When this stupid idea of "sowing"doesn't make the poor people rich, they are told that it's because they don't have faith, have sin in their lives, etc.

Many religious people are made to believe that the secret to good health and healing is prayer, having been brainwashed by dishonest sermons and misleading testimonies. When they have health problems, instead of going to good hospitals, they embark on prayer and fasting. When their friends slump due to heart attacks or strokes or seizures, they start praying on them instead of rushing them to good hospitals where they can get competent medical help. People have died of curable diseases like malaria because they didn't accept treatment until it was too late.

Many religious people are tolerant and liberal by nature, but due to certain verses in their holy scriptures, they feel that they must be intolerant of various groups of people that God supposedly doesn't like, such as lesbians and transexuals. They are against abortion, which they think is murder, but also against sex education, which reduces abortion rates dramatically, because they think it may encourage premarital safe sex. As a result their daughters end up getting pregnant outside wedlock, having illegal abortions, and dying despite their opposition to abortion.

Many religious people are women, and it sucks to be them because the scriptures of the major religions are clearly sexist. One scripture claims that women must be quiet and submit to men because man were created first and woman came from man, which is rather suspicious because in real life it's women who give birth to men. Another scripture proudly asserts that woman are deficient in intelligence and piety. There are almost no female prophets, apostles or disciples. The few famous women in major scriptures are famous not for personal exploits but for giving birth to important men, marrying them, or leading them astray (Eve, Jezebel). Religious women can't live up to their full potential.

And don't even get me started on the horrible treatment of "demon-possessed" people (the mentally ill) and "child witches".

Clearly, religious people are suffering. Our parents, siblings, and children. Our friends, crushes, and admirers. Our colleague, bosses, and employees. To save them, we who are atheists must come out of our closets and start speaking out; challenging them and educating them.

I'm praying for you brother.

Upon seeing this, I know the race to 2019 presidential campaign has started.

This is Alh Atiku Abubakar the Turakin Adamawa and the most popular vice President ever in the history of African and the world at large.

I have been trying to figure out among every other politicians, and other individual whom could i compared with the Turakin Adamawa. Yes, my friend actually asked me to analyse all the top politicians in the country.

From my findings, Atiku is the only one that has a close relationship with the less privilege, he has been seen severally celebrating with the IDP'S and Homeless Children.

Atiku, is the only one that has used his wealth effectively by investing in such a way that could generate employment for the Masses.

Today Atiku has employed thousands of workers, where will they have been if he has decided to bury his wealth abroad?

Atiku, has now become a household name. And I also notice that his popularity increases by the day, so with this brief I want to believe that he is completely in comparable...... But what is ur take?

I have an analog metre that I paid heavily for, in not less than 5yrs the DISCO officials stop reading the meter, saying it's obsolete (whatever that means), because it's more convinient for them they bring whooping estimated bills at the month end, what else would you call that if not a rip off. They're making profits they're unworthy of and if people decide to take their own pound of flesh in some ways, I have no pity for them.

Meter bypassing is criminal and should be treated as such, or didn't you read where I said so? I would never indulge in or approved of criminality, but would I be the one to investigate and fish out bypassers for them?

I am suffering from the same as well.

Estimated bill every month upon my functioning metre which is not being read.

I decided to go report at their office with copies of the estimated bills when I was disconnected after about 2 months of not paying.

The Oga I met that day instructed them to fix my light immediately without reconnection fee, but I had to pay a reasonable and justifiable amount from my outstanding.


These problems have been accumulating right from the days of FG with poor infrastructures and heavy ATC&C losses, thus the need for the FG to sell the decayed system out since money is not being remitted, and they had to always pay salaries still.

These private companies didn't know how decayed the system is until operation started.

With policemen, you go into streets to disconnect due to nonpayment, but you are faced with miscreants who are ready to unleash beating and destruction - lawlessness.

Besides, the FG owns 40% shares and is represented on the Board by Bureau of Public Enterprises in the Company. I am talking about AEDC though.

I am very sure it will get better with time.

Meanwhile, despite the estimated billing, I only calculate and pay for what I know I consumed without compromising the parameters involved.

As they do say, "Buhari is cleaning the mess of PDP of the past 16 years, and it's not been easy", so also let's give these Companies time to clean up the power system.

This is so not true! single phase meter is N39,000 in BEDC under CAPMI scheme, where consumer will pay for the meter & d DISCO will pay back in 36months I.e N1,000 every month as discount when you want to recharge

Inspite of d consumer paying for these meter, it still takes months for them to supply the meter

The ordinary revenue-collector working for the power companies are usually thieves! Always collecting bribes and defrauding the power distribution companies. They should go and ensure that the revenue-collectors pay more attention to collect debts for thier companies reather than into their pockets.

Imagine, a company buys electricity worth of N50m from transmission, but more than 50% of the customers bypass. And the company is expected to make interest from the cost price of N50m. There must be estimated billing to make up.

A bypassing customer who consumes about N15,000 worth of electricity per month, but being billed just N2,500. How is the Company expected to make up for the outstanding N12,500.

And the ones that bypass most are the pre-paid metre owners, because they are not monitored often. Even those with analog metre no dey carry last.

The customers with analog meters pay for about 30%, while customers without metre pay about 70% of the outstanding.

In this case, Nigerians and the Companies have a lot to work on.

My guy, no be by force to use air conditioner(s)n not plates and the likes if you know you can't pay for the service. Fan, gas cooker or kerosene stove and the likes will do as well.

Power sectors had really decayed before being privatized.

As some people do say that it is not possible for Buhari to make right the wrong of PDP's mis-ruling for the past 16 years, so the same people should exercise patience with this present Discos, cos it is virtually impossible to make right the wrong of about 30 years in years to come.

please, if you have paid for pre-paid metre in the last 3 months and not given, you have the choice if not paying for electricity.

And always do endeavour to report any corrupt "NEPA" official to the nearby office.

It is a big buiding of about 7 floors with many offices, the security unit deployed only check incoming cars. They don't restrict individuals as such.
