Whymee: This message for Christian NL, with sincerity and honesty, extraction of GOD's WORD and WORD's of the Prophets from the bible will surely give some enlightenment to this topic.
The bible as we all know contains some words of historian, statements referring to second and third person singular, both the old and new testament, which are sometimes contradictory and confusing.

The extracted WORDS OF GOD from the bible tallies with the word of God in the Qurian, likewise some words of the prophets before Muhammed were also refered to also tallies with the qurian account of such prophet, Words of Muhammed himself is not in the qurian, but in separate book call the adith.

WITH SINCERITY AND HONESTY compare these with the qurian, honesty this is where a stated from, it allow me move a step towards Islam, and I begin to see the other side of the coin.

There is no crime in seeking for knowledge on things that is not known about a religion. SEEK FOR KNOWLEDGE.

With all due respect, There are literally thousands of inconsistencies in the bible; There are texts that i can't read to children in this book, sometimes totally obscene passages that offer no lessons or morals.

1. It didn't take 1500 years for the bible to be written; It took that long for it to be in it's present state: many of the book were already written and scattered around the middle east.

2. That, it is made up of different authors makes it less believable that in its entirety, it is the word of God.
i. It might contain the words of God.
ii. But it also contain the word of poet, historians
iii. There are many books in which the authors are unknown including unfortunately the gospels... How can you place reliance of such books?

Yes there is poetry like the book Job, Poem like Songs of Solomon, Songs of David (Psalms).

Surah 53:4 ''Everything about Quran is divine revelation'' that is somethinh sent down. Allah wrote the Quran, but from where did he get the divine revelation?
Pls, explain this, Surah 26:192-194 (the Quran is received from the Holy spirt), in 53:2-18( received from a mighty power), 2:97(angel Gabriel brought the Quran to Mohammed), and 15:8 (It wasnt Allah himself, or Gabriel or the Holy Spirit, but actually angelS)

And basically, if Allah wrote the Quran, would there be those anomalies. It means someone wrote the Quran and he or she is trying to relate it to somebody super so that it can be accepted.

bolayei: ok lagos..,i was born and bred in lagos until i moved to london, and truth be told lagos is a city like any other city in the western world based on my experience like i tell people the way i know naija might be different to how you know it. the things wey dey freak some whte people are things i grew up with and sometimes that makes me appreciate lagos, im still yet to find a place like V.I here na only celebs go live there, and little pots of areas wey dey lagos sef go represent world wide. Every where get ghetto infact i will prefer to live in some suburbs of lagos than to live in places like Peckham, hackney, dalston, brixton the list is endless. guessing some of these posters only came to lagos less than 20yrs ago so dont really know lagos. last time i went to lagos at night i forget im in Africa its so beautiful. Fashola is doing a good job o o, i never step foot in Oshodi while i was living in Nigeria but last time i went home i could not help but step my foot in Oshodi looked different.Fashola is a state governor not a local government chairman its the local government chairmen that are not doing anything for their communities not fashola. Fashola is responsible for affairs of the state whatever happens in suburbs is down to the local gov. well my idea of nigeria is surulere, apapa,festac,beachland estate, snake island,V.I, Ikoyi and nowadays those estates off lekki expressway used to be bushes when we used to go lekki beach,maryland etc if u lived or travelled abroad na 2 different thing as for me i cant wait to come back to eko ile.
