Nsonaso: My kind advice to those who are ready to listen.....
TECNO products are for those with low budget for phone but 36k+ is no longer a low budget but a mid range... Please don't spend 36k+ for any TECNO phone because there are other OEM brands that outperforms TECNO products... please spend your money wisely my people
In conclusion TECNO is better than any BlackBerry of any model but that doesn't mean you should spend 36k+ for a TECNO phone Reasons: Their Specifications is not certain TECNO can give you 16MP camera count but the actual image processing chip that is responsible for better picture quality will be equal to Samsung 0.6MP (Mega Pixels doesn't signify better picture quality but bigger size of images) that is why TECNO 16MP Camera can't be compared with Samsung, Sony or Other OEM brand 5MP camera...
If TECNO says their battery is 3000mah it's actually 300mah.... Other OEM brands will tell you exactly the capacity of their Battery so that you will know exactly what you're buying.... tecno better than any brand of bb? I see! ur situation is far worse than the op's |

PAGAN9JA: They have built roads, infrastructure, etc.
Yes it is true they could have done more . It is true they are corrupt.
But you cant deny the fact that the Govt. has done something.
The Govt. exists because of us. yes they exist cos of us. so, they should use the one at their disposals judiciously before we start giving them from churches and mosques. supporting and funding corruption is a no-no beside, u like Jesus/Muhammed or not, the government serving us must have respect for these bodies via no meddling. |

Rap Battles › Re: Top 5 Lyricists Of Nairaland. by ayobase(m): 4:54pm On Jul 13, 2014 |
RapDevil: Nairaland's rap section is a dungeon of lyrical warfare and creativity. As an avid observer in the last 8 months I felt it is essential to pick out the best 5 lyrical monsters on the forum. My criteria centred on achievement, consistency, impact, quality of the opponent, battle frequency and skills.
The task was not easy but here goes the top 5 lyrical wizards of Nairaland in my own opinion.
5) ThePrekky
Ever since his emergence in 2012, ThePrekky has become a very consistent rapper. During that time, he has stayed relevant and he took some heavyweights on his way to the top. Granted, ThePrekky lost against Ibime. But at his best, ThePrekky is an entertaining, lively and captivating textcee whose freestyling abilities are full of heavy bars, humour, punches and conviction.
4) DBR
DBR is the type of textcee who could easily be number one if he was more active. He has faced tough opponents and he has dropped classics after classics. More than anything, his style of rapping is very unique and highly technical. There have been whispers he has hung pen and pad. The battle rap community hopes he bounces back from his retirement.
3) Siddoggg
You would be making a big mistake for thinking Siddoggg is a newcomer in this battling terrain. He entered the fray as far back as 2012. His last performance against Mikuz in the Brutal Combat Series got him a huge respect from every quarter - like the emergence of a new star, a textcee who could rap circles around his competitors. Yes, his verses seldom lack structure but he has improved a great deal since the early days. Over the past year, it’s very plausible that no textcee stock has surged as much as Siddoggg. He's unfuckwithable!
2) Ibime
Ibime is the most influential battle rapper on Nairaland. His DNA is all over the present day battle culture in this forum. I have studied his lyrics over the past few weeks and he always brings deadly material to the table. In some respect, a string of unfortunate events kept Ibime from the top spot. He suffered very few losses in the last 12 months. Either way, one can expect him to bounce back and claim his spot before 2014 wounds up.
1) Coogar
The trajectory of Coogar's career has a very bizarre perspective. He came from nowhere, started the year taking shots at DBR/Ibime and just recently, he defeated Mikuz in one of the biggest matchups of 2014. Love him or hate him, That is a murderer’s row of battle talent. Coogar is different as he doesn’t dilute his stature with weak matchups. For that, he deserves credit.
He has proven he’s one of Nairaland's most versatile battlers, capable of switching between hilarious content and vicious bars with ease, all while taking a very direct aim at his opponents. ever disappointed. Coogar's pen game is the best on NL in the last 7 months, imbued with solid pop culture references and street-savvy lyricism, and delivered with his trademark comedic expressions. I must have been dulling on nl. na only coogar I sabi among all |

Christianity Etc › Re: Nairaland Petition To Tax Religious Bodies by ayobase(m): 4:30pm On Jul 13, 2014 |
PAGAN9JA: How many of you are willing to stand up against the draining of our Nation's Wealth by these foreign Religious bodies?
churches collect money from the Nigerian common man to feed to pastors material desires, big manshions, private jets, etc.
Tithe money from churches is sent to foreign western country like the vatican to FIll Their Coffers.
This is the Money of the Nigerian Common Man.
Meanwhile, zakat money is being used to fund terrorist activities abroad, boko haram , al qaeda, etc.
And apart from this all, Our money is being used by these orgainzations to build more religious structures TAX FREE on prime property land; the opportunity cost of which could be used to build schools , hospitals, business outlets, Community Centres, etc.
Taxation of Religious bodies can increase the Government Revenues and make our Government Coffers richer. This money could then be used for development of Nigeria and Standard People's Progressive issues, etc.
Also needed to be abolished is the Pilgrimage subsidy to foreign nations by muslims/christians. Or else even Pagans/Traditionalists must get Pilgrimage subsidies or atleast shrine construction subsidies and atheists must also get some form of Scientific Pilgrimage subsidy to foreign Scientific/Technology Forums, etc. (which will benefit the Nation)
If you are for this petition , copy this onto the reply below " I "username" as a Nigerian Citizen, wish the Nigerian Government elected by me to Tax Religious Bodies in the Nation. "
The Gods Bless Nigeria!

torchwave: Save it for the unfortunate souls whose heads will be buried along with the Oba as custom demands. I am sure you did not overlook the word 'rituals' in the news article. As usual, people will curtail their movement, especially at night, to avoid being the unwilling donors of heads to some Oba as his gifts to his ancestors in appreciation of a life well spent. whatever the case could be, RIPs should be an approroiate collective term. besides, I dont think such act happens any longer.
