GracefulG: Hi Please I'm just curious. I applied for masters in memorial university around november . Sent in my transcript and certificate by email and my letters of appraisal from my referees. Later on I found out I have to actually send in my transcript and certificate through post mail or courier. I emailed them and got a reply that I have to send it for it to appear on my checklist as official. Around first week of January I had my university send the documents through post mail to memorial . From my tracking , the documents arrived Newfoundland , CA last 2 weeks and since then I have been checking my application status and no update yet , sent an email twice to memorial gradapply and no reply. Please is there something else I should do? Similar thing happened to me in 2019 January. i will attach who you should contact shortly. Here is a FORMAT below and send it to athena.farr@mun.ca then copy hharris@mun.ca and dpj522@mun.ca in the email while sending. Dear Athena, How are you today? Please, I have a little complain. My official academic transcript and degree confirmation was delivered to the graduate school last week Friday (11th January), but it is yet to be updated as received in my application summary. I have sent an email initially to graduate school some days back but I was told to allow 3 to 5 business days once documents has been received to be process, but today makes it 15 business days it has been received but the official transcript and degree confirmation is yet to be entered as received on my online account. Here is my details. Name:. Student Number: Thank you very much and hope hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Ayodeji. |

Nairobi guys are not smiling at all. Was your application processed in Nairobi? Check d bottom of your bvl you will see d office that processed your application |

mzjokky16: Hello famz, What if we are asked at the point of entry if we know anyone in Canada? Should the answer be yes , for we that have a relatives or No. I’m asking this question because most us us declare on our cic forms that we don’t know anybody in Canada so as not be misinterpreted on purpose of visit. Thanks in advance for answering this question. Well since you didn't declare in your application you have relatives it would be okay to keep to same. But it would have been better if you had say the truth cause they may ask you where you would be staying or why in Canada 2months to resumption and might want to know if you have sufficient funds that will take you till you resume school and you will start getting your funding money biweekly. Mom, let be hopeful you may not be asked ma cause I know you, blema and I to always be favour always. |

In term of family ties, I do not have any ties as all my siblings are in the USA and Canada as I'm just the only one left here, they are already citizens of those countries and I listed all of them in the family information without hiding anything. I only used my mom who wasn't even in Nigeria as ties and I said I ll be coming back home for my marriage and I talked about employment prospects as the ties too. The most important thing is prayer and fasting and it was my mom that did all that. I give *God all the glory*. *He is a faithful God*. All thanks to my *father's in the Lord* who saw this vision coming through for me, Qudkom, Frankrobb, Justmellow,Blema111, sterlingwaterloo and to many others I can't mention. *I'm wishing the rest still waiting for decision a favourable outcome IJN especially my sister from another mother Mzjokky16. dainib90: I applied for a Canadian student permit since the first week in June, did my biometrics almost immediately and after about a month, I received a notification to go for a medical exam.
I immediately booked an appointment with one of the IRCC registered hospitals in Lagos - International Migration for Organization Hospital (IMOLagos) and went for my medical exam.
I received a text message from the hospital within 2 days confirming that my medical result had been sent to the IRCC.
A month after I was instructed by the IRCC to go for my medical exam, I got a message on my IRCC profile page stating that they did not receive my medical exam yet. I immediately went to the IMO hospital to make inquiries where they showed me evidences that the had indeed sent my result to the IRCC embassy.
Because medical exams sent to the IRCC are valid for a whole year, the hospital doesn't have the option of resending the results (IRCC policy) not even the option of taking another exam.
The hospital gave the printed evidence that the results of the exam had been sent and also gave me the email address of the Lagos immigration office - [lagosimmigration@international] asking me to send the scanned copy of the evidence to that email. I have since then (first week in August) done all that along with visiting the Visa office in Lagos but no progressive response of any sort has come out yet. The hospital and Canadian visa office claim to have no other way of reaching the Canadian embassy except via emails so that is the only means of communication I can afford. I need advice on what to do to resolve this as soon as possible as school is set to be in session within a couple weeks. Hey dude, it's easy. Kindly send a webform to Nairobi then explain everything in the space for message in the webform and attach the emedical slip in the webform while submitting it. Your profile will be updated. I ll send you link to the webform shortly. Link to webform to Nairobi office. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=Nairobi |
