Thank you @Teeprecious. D word 'let d buyer beware' really means a lot. He can advice d prospective buyer genuinely in more polite way. If you search Canada trend u will know have been in existence for long. Yes am once Canada prospective student applicant and have been refused visa 3times. I now consider studying at UK and am presently disposing all CAD that I kept for dis journey so that I can get pounds equivalent. Anyone that is interested can dm and I am ready to involve admin if need be. Thanks
Teeprecious:

I believe the caveat was to the intending buyer to understand that last part of the 'canada account'

What do you mean? There is a way you can pass your message to intending buyer without been insulting the poster.

U are absolutely right.
Lamideyy:

My opinion
A letter of sponsorship is meant to explain what your sponsor does,
Your sponsor's source(s) of income
His/her relationship to the applicant
The letter should show the sponsors readiness to finance your education, should also show that your sponsor understands the cost of your education in Canada
How much he/she has set aside for your education, etc....
An affidavit is just to legalize the fact that the sponsor will truly finance your education and everything is not just mouth

Passport: I created a TOC here and uploaded my most passport, travel history (Stamps, expired passports and expired visas). I applied from Ireland.

POF: My Father is my main sponsor and supported me with his bank accounts in Nigeria. I also used myself as co-sponsor to add the small small change I have managed to raise for the past year. I totalled the sum and broke it down bit by bit in my study plan. I created a TOC too.

Hello everyone,
I have been a silent reader.
I just got my ppr today.
My application was a very funny one, I submitted in January this year and I had no request letter neither did my eligibility review change until I got my passport request today. I was worried and had so much anxiety everytime that I had to stop coming on here because it felt overwhelming for me.
My timeline goes like this:
Submitted - January 27th
Confirmation- January 28th
Biometrics- January 28th
Upfront medicals- March 9th
Medicals updated to pass- March 15th
Bvl and passport request - April 27th
Ps : Today makes it exactly 3 months I submitted my application.
To everyone still hoping for a good news and waiting for ppr I pray you receive your miracle.
Shout out to Ircc cause they have thought me patience on this experience.

Client information section

LadyBlaq:
Good morning FAM! I hope this meets you all well.
Please i have a question.
I am collating documents for study visa application. I understand that it is paramount to provide every document mentioned on SOP.
I mentioned a one year employment on my SOP in year 2015 but I lost my employment letter for that job. I am planning on using MSB for all my financial/bank proofs.

Now here it is, I have been able to print out my first bank statement where I had six to seven months salary payment from the said company and I highlighted these six to seven transactions and labelled the few pages document "proof of salary payment from E & T Company".

Please do I upload this document on proof of fund section or as client's information? I ask this because the document is standing as my employment letter since I lost the real employment letter.

Thank you.

I will advise you get to Canada first before changing program. I have a friend that already started PHD for like a year and later change to Master and her funding was not revoked though she was fully funded

Thank you i already did and she said it is possible.
3. paying back means not money all through that period becos my tuition per year is 20k cad aside living expenses of 10k cad
my supervisor is a Nigerian I only think he might want to withdraw the 18k graduate research offer which i dont mind although i pray he understands
Please other gurus i await your contributions too. Thanks

Thanks, am following

Testimonytime:

I believe you and Ayokaq are refused for same purpose which is because you have applied for ordinary diploma ( my thought). I understand why you had to apply for ordinary diploma because we are in a closely related profession ( mine is culinary management) but it looks like the VO cannot just understand reason for an ordinary diploma after a degree. I was advised by gurus here to apply for pgd which I did and surprisingly, through God’s grace, I got admission without prior formal education in the field. I am still waiting for my PPR which I believe God is working out for me. In the course of my research I discovered pgd in food that people in pastry and food can apply for. Though, your SOP will have to be tailored fully in line with some of the courses as you are into baking and pastry. I think you should PM me if you are interested we can check schools for pgd and work on the SOP together, time is limited, but with God, you can still meet up with May. What God cannot do does not exist.
I hope Ayokaq is reading this, I believe God will help us to find a way.

Can U plz share your timeline. I don't want to believe you are here to advertise an agent

I worked with a good agent in Abuja, I was really surprised that I got the visa self. I was already expecting a denial. But the agent I used once worked in the embassy, so he knows the necessary requirements.

If you live in Lag, go to Canada Embassy in VI for enquiry
samycage:

Hey @awys
Thanks a lot. I have sent several emails to both Lagos mails, all I get is the automatic reply. Then Abuja mail said, "Dear applicant, this is not the appropriate channel, please send all enquires to Nairobi immigration office". And I have been mailing them as well no reply.

Application can be rejected before processing begins
shupy:
@Sleekcee your agent is not being straight with you. Application is never cancelled. It's either you get visa or you don't. Visit your agent and insist on seeing your application dashboard.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Ayokaq: 9:45pm On Mar 09, 2021
Study Permit is not only d best, that is d right visa category if you going for study. Kindly note that even if ur Visit visa is approved u will still need to apply for study permit before u can study a program that is above duration of 6month

Officialksolo:

@Ayokaz

So you suggest study permit is the best right?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Ayokaq: 1:54pm On Mar 09, 2021
If you are going for study d only option of type of visa to apply for is study visa. Kindly note that study permit will only be issued when u can present you LOI at port of entry and LOI doesn't come with visiting visa.

bollybeejay:
@officialksolo
I've been a silent reader, but I had no choice than to register just to give a reply to your question as you are about to make a delicate move, no body was able to answer your question, my hope was to register when I come to share my ppr news.
Now if I get you correctly, you applied for a temporary resident visa which actually is the right move, your study permit only get stamped at the Port of entry at the airport, so you need no special procedure to apply for study permit, either you're applying for visiting or study visa you will have to apply for the temporary resident visa which gives you the authorization to travel to Canada's port of entry, your study permit is then affixed on your entry into Canada, so do not withdraw your application as you have made the right application, I hope that answers your querry
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Ayokaq: 8:49pm On Mar 05, 2021
Some sch issue student ID before LOA e.g Dalhousie University Nova Scotia
Anon123:

How can you have a student number but you dont have a letter of admission. Its impossible dear.

The student number is found in the LOA o. Hope you are not talking about Student reference number given when addmission is applied
