Abeg do speedtest to Europe or USA East, abeg, make I check something.

QuoteJust1nce:
Some eligible customers (+me) got stepped up to 1Gbps at 100k (50% off). I believe this is rolling and would be available to everybody soon. Oya Starlink boiz come and cry , Where is that dude that said 1Gbps doesn't even get 200Mbps upload?

Xbox Series X 1TB (disc version) – ₦470,000 (slightly negotiable)

Includes: console, 1 controller, power cable

Condition: Works fine [confirm: boots, online, no overheating]—visible cosmetic scratches and wear.

Defects (please read):
- One of the rear USB ports is broken (see photos). The other rear port [and front port] work.
- The controller's left analog stick drifts noticeably.

Games: No physical discs and no games sold with the console. The digital games currently installed are tied to my account. I'll leave them on the console for a short while so you can ease into ownership, but this is temporary. Once I remove access, you'll need to buy or source your own games.

Location: Ipaja, Lagos.

Is anyone in Lagos having a poor experience this morning?

Why aren't you able to get the Gen 4x kit from them?
They are on a replacement spree. Trying to get people to dump the Gen 2

Segunod:
My people, my Starlink Gen 2 router got fried like 2months ago. I was able to fix it but got fried again cos I couldn’t get the right bridge rectifier to fix d power board. All the ones I saw were less than the required 4amps. I literally can't afford a new router at the moment and I am not qualify for a replacement. Pls if anyone here has a damaged gen 2 router i can use to fix mine. I only need few components from a bad router. If u got urs replaced but stil has the router, kind help me out. I am seriously begging right now.

Starlink is wanting to get into the hotspot business.
https://starlink.com/ng/community-host

I swear, it doesn't make sense.

If I am buying fiber, I expect the same speed up and down. Why is our own different?
Imagine trying to do a speed test that expects 100mbps up, this means one would have to buy double the plan and there would be no guarantee

morikee:
They're very stingy with bandwidth

I no understand wetin I dey read for this forum. E be like say I don high

Two processes you need to fix this, I think.

You need to run the VPN on your router. I won't be surprised if they have a method to detect that you have a VPN running locally.
The second thing is to clear your cache and local data so the app starts from scratch, incase they have some sort of saved state that is persisting that you are a "suspicious user"

crestedaguiyi:
Still got caught

Of course, na.

Very good deals.

What is your load profile like and what is your maximum budget?

Load profile, ideally, what you would like to power in the daytime and what you would love to run all night?
Maximum budget. If you are looking at spending 700ish on a power station, you might start to consider a 12v standalone system

hoover420:
Guys, which solar system should I go for considering these are the ones I can afford with my budget. Which of the following products are value for money and a durable brand before I make the wrong choice

You're supposed to explain all these at the station, na. After all, you are the middleman.

How do we believe that "engineer" exists?

LetLoveHeal2:
Based on everything you’ve stated, I rarely deal in Nigerian-used items especially phones except when the deal is from a trusted and reliable source. This has been my practice since inception. However, this issue is only being raised now without properly informing me of the full details earlier.

You are also aware that we have successfully completed several transactions together without any problems. Regarding the phone you mentioned as having police issues, it was not directly sold by me I only acted as an intermediary. In fact I did not physically see the phone. I was contacted about the sale and I reached out to you, and upon your interest, I informed the engineer (the seller), who waybilled the phone to you. A dispatcher then picked it up and delivered it to you and I was given commission for selling it.

You mentioned that I blocked you, which is surprising,Let me clearly state that I do not sell STOLEN PHONES or GADGETS Most of the items I post online are imported from trusted vendors outside the country which you’re aware.

As for the Oppo phone in question, I have also tried contacting the engineer/seller who reached out to me about the deal but his number is currently unreachable which I informed you of this as well when you notified me. I’m equally trying to understand what may have happened…

I want to emphasize that I have never been involved in any criminal activity or had any police case, either online or offline.

Bros, Na your budget be the main thing.
Solar does not have a limit, you have to set it because there's so much config you can have. Batteries also have varieties and cost points.

Your budget will allow people let you know if you should go for a 24v or 48v system. And in that class sef the quality of products also have different price points.

Greenodds:
Didn't know installation depends on budget I thought it was load that determines budget. I don't have a budget, I already stated the load it will carry and I mentioned I value quality. I was hoping to get cost.

At this point, warring parties are derailing this thread.

Threats of litigation have been made. If you feel you have been cyberbullied or someone has contravened the law, please seek legal redress. I hope that it does not lead to that, and we can all enjoy the festive season.

Please let sellers do Christmas awuf for us , 20% off for just today. FutureFocus come dash me powerbank.

Dam5reey is a plug.
However, I think if you live in an area where there are wild voltage fluctuations, you'd be better off with a "good" stabilizer as well.

abcabc234:
please where can i get this voltage regulator... original one oo abeg....i hear say fake full everywhere and dem de catch fire

i want to add it to my db )for now until i can lay my hands on a good voltage stabilizer.....it will supply grid to my db and whenever i install my inverter it will be also serve as supply to my inverter input.

Thank you

These inverters are relatively new.
Probably not enough users on the forum yet.
Why not ask the manufacturer? They are a local company

RickyM:
Please can anyone help with this?
I’m asking on behalf of someone please

Quick question.
How many users, real, actual end users, post reviews about their products?

I have searched the internet for actual Nigerian users' reviews about AlpSolarr. Nothing, yet it boasts impressive specs.
[This guy][/https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Smk1wjJvrbc] started posting about it, yet it was too late for me. I had already purchased another well-reviewed brand.

So this is not to take away from the procurement disclaimer. Just a plea for both installers and end users to document experiences about products, both negative and positive.

I picked up one of the discounted devices.
Solid buy, all devices neat as advertised.

Don't even think Tubular.
Please don't even let the thought infiltrate.
The mathematics of 5kwh vs 220ah x 4 with 50% DOD is not worth the stress Tubular will give you.
All the Lithium batteries that you are eyeing will give you a minimum of 5 years, even with 80% DOD, you are still looking at about 7-8 years of ownership. At 50% DOD on Tubular if you get 4 years, you must have gotten premium batteries, or have been meticulous with your 3 months maintenance, using actual distilled water.
Just don't let the thought creep in at all.

FerrariBaron:
Yeah i know most of them there are out for content to make money too, but you did not still give an answer at the end my friend, will appreciate one.

Where are you getting your prospective prices from?

FerrariBaron:
Please guys, i was uncertain which 5kwh to go for between:
* Deye 5kwh 48v rack mounted which i saw for 1.1m.
* TBB 5kwh 48v which i saw for 1.15m
* Lvtopsun which i saw someone on tiktok carry out a capacity test and it did well.

I was also thinking of settling for the 5kwh 48v lvtopsun lithium battery, but i dont know if the lvtopsun inverter is good which i was going to settle for the 5kwh 48v because its around the same price with the growatt 3.6kwh 48v, or if it is advisable to settle for the growatt 3.6kva 48v, but any professional input from the group is welcome.

And please how many panels of around 550 watts will be right for the setup?

Do you have a prepaid meter or not?
My sentence started with "For me".

If you don't have a prepaid meter, then UNLUCKY you. I made a suggestion, not a sermon.

ibietela2:
Good of you to assume Nigeria is now developed that every house uses a prepaid metre

For me the best way to tell your actual wattage is usually from your prepaid meter.
Using conlog #070# it usually tells me what my load is.

ibietela2:
Thanks, i calculated properly its just for starlink and 2 laptops with phones and rechargeable fans, maybe 50" occasionally.

Sorry about your percived experience.
This is primarily a diy forum and it is instinctual for members to point you towards their best deals.

However, because of your restriction of buying from someone local, your best bet is to look for someone on Google. You can then share the options you get / prices. Most likely you will be buying a branded system.
1.8m is a lot of money. Cworth systems are not bad. Avoid Felicity if you can. 600w is not bad on a 12v system. Buy the largest battery you can get. The Haisic 12v plus inverter is about 650k 4kwh. It's backup time for your load will be about 5 hours. Their 24v all in one is about 1.25-1.3m, you should get your 10 hours from this and it allows you to expand your load. Good luck.

Jbond:
Its obvious no one answers genuine questions again here but its rather about marketing for the diy sellers here, i gave my own personal reasons why i want to buy these equipments within the state i reside, you still dey tell me he delivered within 48 hours. If i wanted to buy from any of them i would have contacted them already, even the question i asked no one replied, instead na marketing una dey do.

Anyway thanks for your input.

alphonsojaybaz, this is a very clickbait title.

His medical costs were not disclosed. It could have been more, considering there are rumours he allegedly underwent a bone marrow transplant a while back.

This fellow seun, just devastated this thread.

Interesting. My SMS 12V 1kVA fans are nearly always on except when in bypass mode. I assumed that was normal behaviour.

Elizkid:
Will this Sako inverter ever shut up?

I’ve never used an inverter whose fan spins round the clock, so this is all new to me.

Is there a way to reduce the fan noise or make it only spin at intervals?

Can it chill properly with this voltage? Do you notice any difference?

Compliant:
I once requested information on this thread on the best inverter AC to buy and after reading comments, I decided to go for LG 1 HP inverter Ac with Gen Mode from fouani for N559,000

It was installed few days ago and the installer set it to Gen Mode 0.8 and to my surprise the whole power it was pulling is between 280w to 320w
