*When a former Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian newspaper penned reasons as to why there must be a limit to Igbo’s participation in the politics of Lagos, his friend and former classmate of Igbo background thought the submission betrayed his exposure, experience and education.” CROSSFIRE, reproduces the requirements as canvassed by Femi Kusa and Pat Utomi.*

*I am a yoruba and I condemn all forms of electoral malpractice, including ballot box snatching on election day. The Yorubas are an intelligent people with their own fair share of rascals. There are many intelligent and creative ways open to the yorubas to deal with the Igbo question in Lagos or elsewhere.*

*Chief Obafemi Awolowo dealt with it when Dr Nnamdi Azikwe abused the generousity of the Yorubas and attempted to take over their land as the Dutchmen took over Southern Africa. The Yorubas also dealt with this question intelligently when Biafran soldiers tried to invade the West from Ore, after overrunning Bendel State with the aid of Igbo connections there. At different fora where the Igbo question in Lagos comes up, I always invite the Igbos to remember that the Yorubas have always been their best friends in Nigeria.*

*The Yoruba leader of the 1950s, HERBERT MACAULAY, founded the NCNC (National Council for Nigerians and the Cameroons). When Macaulay died following an illness during his nationwide campaign for independence, wasn’t it the Yoruba NCNC leadership which invited Dr Nnamdi Azikwe and Igbo, to return home from Ghana and lead their party? And when he held their hand in the soup pot, to bar them from having the meal they prepared, didn’t they peacefully and intelligently show him the way back to the East?*

*Yorubas were generous and trustful. Dr Azikwe insulted their sensibility, abused their generosity and trust. Why would he, an Igbo, wish to be premier of the West and then install an Igbo, as premier of the East when the Yorubas at that time had more literate people than the Igbos? That was cunning, greed and betrayal of trust to say the least. We were all fighting to send the white man away and, after we had succeeded, you wished to impose local Igbo colonialism on a better educated Yoruba race. Who would have accepted that?*

*Secondly, I remind my Igbo friends that, after the civil war ,their properties in the North, Port Harcourt, Cross River and Akwa Ibom States, their present political allies, were seized from them as “abandoned” property and handed out to the aborigines. But in the West, Igbo property were all returned with all the rent which accrued to them. Were the Yorubas stupid or merely civilised, honest and friendly or, if you like, God fearing?*

*OKOTA BALLOT BOX*

*As I said in the first part, the snatching of ballot boxes after all the warnings by government was unecessary, crude, condemnable and punishable. If the yorubas condemn it elsewhere, they should condemn it also in Okota.*

*But after the condemnation and necessary punishment under the law, it will not be right for all of us to not get to the bottom of why it happened and the bigger problems which are brewing beneath. The major problem ,in my opinion, is the Igbo penchant to wish to take over another person’s land. I say this with all sense of responsibility.*

*Recently MOFE OYATOGUN of STAR 101.5FM radio station in Lagos played her EARLY RUSH SHOW, a 1952 audio clip of an interview with Ahmadu Bello, Governor of Northern Nigeria. He said unequivocally that the North would not employ Igbos in its civil service, because if you gave them an inch, you will not know when they would take a mile. That was way back in 1952, about 67 years ago.*

*Is this not what is still playing out today in South Africa, Benin Republic, Cote d’ivoire, Ghana, Libya and China, to mention a few countries? In the last presidential election, President Mohammadu Buhari probably won landslide victories in Northern states because that Ahmadu Bello radio interview clip went viral in that political landscaper. Peter Obi, an Igbo, was vice presidential running mate to Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, a Fulani from the North-East. It was possible the North still lived in fear of the Igbo man as Ahmadu Bello had taught them to do and as they were reminded in that audio clip replay.*

*In Yorubaland, we are a society governed by laws. That is why we have ministries of chieftaincy affairs. All the land in Lagos have owners. Lagos was either a colony or a part of Western Nigeria. But because of the generousity of Yorubas and the foresight of their forefathers which made this region the star region in West Africa, the Igbos would like the Yorubaman to believe that LAGOS IS NO MAN’S LAND.*

*Can anyone say that of Benin without eating his pounded yam as raw yam? Can the Igbos say that of Kano and Jos? The people there know how to make themselves husbands of the mothers of the territorial expansionist. Everywhere on earth, we have seen that territorial expansion ends in chaos. In recent history, we can pin the two world wars to it. What about the war in Liberia between the aborigines and the settled slaves? What about Rwanda? What about Hitler’s war on the Jews? What about the liberation wars in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique*

*Why did general Idi Amin of Uganda chase away the Asians? Why did Bangladesh separate from India, Eritrea from Ethiopia and Senegal from SeneGambia? What about the communual clashes over land in Nigeria? Recently, almost 100 Fulanis were killed in Kaduna. We cannot forget the Zango-Kataf problem.*

*So, we should be careful when you come to settle on my land and say you must represent me in the Nigerian Senate or the House of Representatives, or the Lagos State House of Assembly, taking away from me my aboriginal right to have my kith, kindred and blood represent me, while back home you are being represented in the senate and House of Reps, when you insist on becoming a commisioner in my state or a deputy governor, or a local government chairman when you try to govern me in my own land as Dr Nnamdi Azikwe once tried to do, all because I was generous to let you become in my land what you couldn’t become in your land, simply because you believe you have the numbers, I will tell you that is greed and unnatural irrespective of the backing of the law you may think you have.*

*Think, for example, about an Igbo becoming the chairman of Lagos island local government and arrogating to himself the right under the laws of Nigeria and of Lagos State to issue instructions to the Oba of Lagos about how the kabiyesi should conduct himself and govern his people. What will this breed?*

*That is what has been happening in countries from where the Igbos are being sent back home.It happened once in the North as Ahmadu Bello said in 1952. And seriously speaking, I believe this is why the North rejected Atiku Abubakar.*

*The Igbos should reflect on this…Why does everyone tend to (hate ) us?*

*JIMI AGBAJE/AFENIFERE*

*The Igbos should be wary of JIMI AGBAJE and AFENIFERE.They are politicians who are looking for ethnic heads to break coconuts on.*

*The Igbos are hardworking and resourceful and should try to overcome ethnic politics as the Yorubas have done. They should learn from immigrants from other lands worldwide. The Indians do not trouble their hosts or try to take over their lands. They make their money quietly and take it back home to develop their own land. That is why India has been able to lift herself from poverty. In contrast, the Igbos do not develop their own lands. All they do is largely to make money from abroad through whichever or whatever means and buy up property which other people have built and then claim they own the land without remembering that they can never hold aboriginal rights to the land in their hands whenever the chips come down.*

*Meanwhile, their land back home is languid, crying and shouting for investment and development and they begin to talk about marginalisation. Did they not flower and fruit under Obasanjo and Jonathan’s administrations? What happened to Igbo land in those 16 years that they were not marginalised? What happened to Yoruba land in those 16 years that the Yorubas were marginalised that Yoruba land still continued to be a honey pot for the Igbo?*

*I would go anyday with Chief Emeka Anyaoku who looks at the world with universal spectacles.*

*Succeeding Lagos governments have beautifully held the ethnic balance in Lagos and prevented ethnic disturbances. Igbos should stop saying they own Lagos or that they built Lagos or that Lagos is a “no man’s land”. Only a bastard Yorubaman will not feel affronted by such statements. And in spiritual terms, the man or woman who cannot defend his land is not fit to live. Wasn’t this the failure of the sons of the Incas?*

*It is good news that the leaders of the Igbos and other nationalities in Nigeria have met with the traditional leaders of the Yorubas in Okota and Oshodi areas to avert a backlash in respect of last election. As I said earlier, Agbaje and Afenifere are outside the mainstream of Yoruba politics. They are trying to take control of it. And they have the right to so aspire, being Yorubas.*

*What is objectionable to the mainstream Yoruba is their attempt to knock the heads of the Igbo against the head of the mainstream yorubas. They remind the yorubas of a similar affront by Afonja, the Yoruba army commander in Ilorin who was sent there by the Alaafin of Oyo to stop jihadist expansion. Afonja betrayed the Alaafin and invited the jihadists to defend his betrayal. They did and Afonja triumphed momentarily only to be killed afterwards by the jihadists who took over the land.*

*The perception in Yorubaland today is that the Igbo in Lagos especially are the modern jihadists and that Agbaje and Afenifere are the modern Afonjas. This is the underlying perception which, in my opinion, triggered the surface reaction in Okota last Saturday. The Yorubas remain an accomodating people. But they never fail to rise in their defence when they have to, as they did in the 1950s in respect of Dr Azikwe’s blatant attempt to usurp their land and as they also did at Ore during the civil war.*

PoliticsThe Most Courageous Statement Yet On The Madness In The East. God Bless Ihejirik by Ayslambc(op): 9:59am On Nov 14, 2022
The most courageous statement yet on the madness in the East. God bless Ihejirika! Maybe he should have spoken earlier, yet, it's better late than never.
Full Statement;

Former chief of army staff, Gen Azubuike Ihejirika (rtd) writes:

"FOOLISH IS NOT IGBO"

BACKGROUND

1. Since 1999, the SouthEast had belonged to the ruling political party at the centre---Fed Govt, which we had overwhelmingly voted for, in all past elections, and the party had over 15 unbroken years in power. Most Igbo elites of today (political, socio-cultural, business, and to some extent, clerical), made their fortune and fame during that period. The ruling party lost presidential election in 2015, and a new coalition party came to power. This category of Igbo elites were angry at the loss of political offices and influence, with the perquisites involved; patronage in contracts and appointments into the boards of Fed Govt MDAs, etc. They could not come to terms with the change.

2. Even before the new President was sworn-in, the pro-Biafran IPOB group, which had campaigned for the then ruling party in 2014, had started a vicious campaign of hate, abuses and lies against the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, and his ethnic group, and the North in general. The disgruntled elites kept supporting and fueling the campaign. It didn't matter that SouthEast was visibly getting more infrastructural development in the fewer years of the present Fed Govt than it got in the longer period of the past ruling party. All that ruled the day were anger, hate, venting the spleen, pull-down-the-roof mindset.

3. The IPOB pro-Biafran agitation had been an umbrella for sundry youth criminal groups: armed robbers, cultists, ritualists, fraudsters, drifters, etc. Their common uniting factor is anachist inclination and proclivity for violence, which is justified as a necessary requirement of a "revolution" to first destroy the existing system, and when the "revolution" has succeeded, then you rebuild everything better. The youths were brainwashed on such diet. The various groups cooperated in sourcing for arms and ammunition for the "revolution", to imbue themselves with greater authority. The disgruntled elites promoted and supported it, as long as it was primarily directed at the Fed Govt and its facilities in the SouthEast. The elites never believed in any Biafran "revolution" though. They knew it cannot happen. The campaign was all provocative rascality, insults and abuses in a running hate propaganda and lies, being juiced with doctored and photo-shopped video clips and a steady flow of fake news. And it was all sweet melody as long as it was directed at President Buhari and his Govt.

4. Sample: There are four (4) military service chiefs, and normally, two come from the North, and two from the South. It is still the same under the present Fed Govt. But you could hear every imaginable twisted narrative and lies about marginalisation and sectionalism against the South and the Igbos in particular. Since this 4th Republic started in 1999, Nigeria has had four (4) Presidents, including the present one. Two had come from the South (Obasanjo and Jonathan from SouthWest and SouthSouth respectively), and two from the North (Yar' Adua and Buhari, both from NorthWest). So, out of the six geopolitical zones, three have produced the President and three have not. This is public knowledge.

5. You can hear some highly placed Igbo leaders/opposition politicians shouting loud and clear that only the SouthEast has not produced a President since 1999 while all other zones have done so, and that this is injustice and inequity against Igbos and that Nigeria cannot survive without justice and equity. That's like insulting the sensibilities of other members of the Nigerian space, as well as issuing a threat. And those leading this chorus are well educated, very knowledgeable and internationally exposed persons who the less educated and ignorant masses look up to, for facts and guidance. When the base human emotions, the animal human nature, takes over, intellect and enlightenment is relegated. Such brazen lies are told to whip up rash emotions and victimhood mindset which lead to dishing out insults, abuses and hate speech against some other members of the Nigerian space.

6. You cannot win the free-will votes of Nigerians by such method. Or do we think we can go to court, obtain an injunction, then come back to nominate a President which Nigerians must accept without voting, or must vote for, all because "it is our turn"? Meanwhile, some other leaders from other parts of the country have been busy building and mobilising grassroot support from across the zones, with a view to gaining their votes in next year's presidential election. Are we expecting they should do the cultivation labour and then hand over the harvest to us, because "it is our turn"? Foolish is not Igbo.

7. Some of our loud voices believe so much in Josef Goebbels' strategy of Big-Lie: Tell the lie boldly and repeatedly, and the masses will believe it to be the truth. Nazi Germany applied it in its drive to exterminate the Jews and "rid Europe of inferior nations", while deceiving the wider world as to the true situation on the ground. But that did not go far before Germany suffered a devastating collapse, and the future generation learnt to say, "never again". If some of the Igbo leaders of today continue to rely on such strategy, then we could expect a similar backlash, because this form of dirty politics breeds violent conflict and destruction.

8. The vicious campaign failed to bring down President Buhari's Govt, and did not also succeed in intimidating and blackmailing the President to do their dictate. Their game plan did not work out. Contradictions set in, and in a twist, the mad dog trained to attack the enemy, turned against its master breeder, and we are all caught up in a fix, confused about the way out. Some prominent spokesmen would attack the person of the President: that he has been romancing Boko Haram and bandits in the North, releasing them and granting them amnesty, while refusing to release a freedom fighter (Nnamdi Kanu) who has not committed any offence, and that Nigeria will know no peace if he is not released. At the same time, another top leader of the same group would say they are appealing or pleading with the President to release the detainee in order to douse tension in the SouthEast, because it's all about equity and fairness, and that is the only way for Nigeria to move forward; that the President is the father of the nation and should forgive the detainee as his son. This is not how to seek for "political solution" if they think that's what they are doing. They are still dishing out insults and threats.

QUESTIONS:

9. What plan has the Igbo leaders laid out to get the armed gangs to renounce violence, surrender their weapons and be rehabilitated in a kind of amnesty program?
Or are they thinking that the Fed Govt should keep quiet and watch armed gangs of non-state actors take over the space and dictate what happens, by using threats and wanton violence? No responsible national government anywhere in the world will tolerate that. Threats, blackmail and insults cannot work here. Nor will simpletonic cunning and fox game work. We must take responsibility, with forthright approach in seeking solution to the problem, then we could be sure of cooperation and support from the Fed Govt, particularly in the area of funding.

10. Those talking of "unconditional release' of Nnamdi Kanu, from the ongoing terrorism-related court trial, are simply jesting, dancing to cheap gallery, entertaining and deceiving themselves and the local folks. It shows crass insensitivity and total disregard to serious national-security concern, as well as insulting the sensibilities of other groups of Nigerian stakeholders. We better wisen up and think better.

11. Recall that this group of pro-Biafran agitators were attacking and destroying Fed Govt facilities in the SouthEast, attacking and killing duty police men and women and their stations burnt, as well as attacking members of other Fed Govt security agencies, and killing Igbo leaders and peasants who disagreed with their method. How many of these elders publicly spoke out against that? It was as if some of them were celebrating the feat and blaming the Fed Govt for creating the situation. That was before the leader of the group was re-arrested outside the country and brought home to face court trial. Has the group denounced such violence?

12. Now that the monster we created has turned back to attack us, we must take responsibility, with a spirit of forthrightness and atonement, in seeking for solution to the problem. Empty grandstanding, cunning and fox game, can only drag and worsen the situation. President Buhari will soon complete his tenure of office and another President (most likely from the SouthWest) will take over, and we could again start attacking him with insults, abuses and hate propaganda, which will lead us nowhere and cannot succeed in intimidating the new person to do our biddings".
PoliticsFarooq Kperogi Broke The Table by Ayslambc(op): 6:52am On Oct 22, 2022
Farooq Kperogi broke the table:

1) Obi is also a social media creation. On ethnic and religious tolerance, his record isn't different from Buhari's, according to media reports I've read. He called Ngige a Yoruba man in 2013, implying that it's undesirable to be Yoruba.

2) In 2013, when Idemili women protested after being disenfranchised, Obi said the women were from *Osun State* in order to delegitimize them.

3) Similarly, on election day in 2013 when the DSS abducted El-Rufai in Anambra, Obi wondered what El-Rufai was doing in Anambra and said El-Rufai should go back to his Katsina State (he's actually from Kaduna).

4) Obi's ethnic politics as a governor was so acute that Okey Ndibe called him out on it in several columns, saying in one column that "such appeals to base, ethnic sentiments would return to haunt him if he ever seeks to be a political player at the national level."

5) Obi also played religious politics in the predominantly Christian Anambra State: he played Catholics against Anglicans, which Ndibe also called out, and which many people from Anambra called out in real time. The records are there on the internet. And his current campaign is also decidedly colored by religion, which is reflected in the demographic profiles of his presidential campaign council.

6) As for how much money he saved when he was governor, his successor, Willie Obiano, said it was a lie. He said Obi left more liabilities than assets, and asked Obiano to refund him more than 7 billion naira for supporting Obiano's election.

7) Obi was also virulently anti-worker. Lecturers went on strike for 6 months, doctors went on strike for 13 months, and civil servants went on strike to demand a measly 18,000 minimum wage. He was very mean to workers, and he is ironically running on the platform of a workers' party.

cool Nothing in his past, which I researched thoroughly, makes him different from Buhari. Plus, he has shown himself to be just as lazy as Buhari. It took him forever to come up with a running mate.

9) He has no manifesto as I write this. And he couldn't even read and vet his presidential campaign list.

10) If these are not red flags that he is just a social media creation that won't be different from Buhari, I don't know what is.
Politics*asiwaju Bọlá Ahmed Tinubu Is Nigeria's President, 2023* by Ayslambc(op): 10:46am On Oct 10, 2022
*Asiwaju Bọlá Ahmed Tinubu is Nigeria's President, 2023*

You claimed: "He is over ambitious". Reallyhuh

His contemporaries moved from governor's house to the Senate. He didn't.
Majority of his peers quickly joined the then ruling party the moment they lost immunity as governors. He didn't...
Others switched parties based on pure political opportunism, joining the PDP as the surest path to their political ambitions... He didn't.
He took the far more difficult and less promising path of building his party from a single state to regional dominance...
He leveraged that to form the most potent opposition party that successfully dislodged the ruling party in a peaceful election and first power transfer of its kind in Nigeria's history!

Putting aside his own ambition to step down for Buhari wasn't a small thing...
Sowore, Moghalu, Fela Durotoye and others couldn't even make that sacrifice for each other despite their obviously weak political platforms...
So, what exactly is Tinubu's crime?

As governor, he built the most diversified cabinet of the most competent team ever assembled at the state level...
Kwara, Anambra, Osun, Ekiti, Ogun and other states were represented as commissioners under him as Lagos State Governor...
Mostly professionals with little or no political value. Just competence to move the state forward...
Where was the crime?

He owns all of Lagoshuh
OK then.
His immunity ended 15 years ago. 8 of those years, he was a thorn on the side of PDP. Lagos was a prize the party (PDP) wanted badly (and they are still craving to also 'own' Lagos!)...
PDP had the resources and the motivation to nail him. They couldn't make a case...
Yet, by mere proclamation, our social media experts have declared him the very epitome of public corruption...
Alpha-Betahuh
Pleaaaase!!!
That's one of the smartest public policy decisions of the current republic...
The jury is in...
The results can't be denied...

Others (like Peter Obi) went to China to import containers...
He went to China to learn about Free Trade Zones...
Today, the Free Trade Zone in Lekki is home to over 400 companies including the largest fertilizer manufacturing plant in Africa and the largest privately owned refinery in the world!!!

Why so much hate?

You owe no one an explanation for opposing his candidacy...
It is a free world...
I believe there are many of your "legitimate reasons" to oppose his candidacy...
Tinubu and his campaign team have to overcome this real hurdle. His health challenges raises legitimate questions given the Buhari experience. Health problems aren't disqualifying by default in my view. They're part of life unless such challenges are crippling...
I've seen no evidence of that but I respect those who see it differently.

But, this intense hatred makes no sense to me...
Asiwaju Bọlá Ahmed Tinubu earned his stripes...
He can legitimately say:
"Emi lo kan"!

He is my choice."

I am aligning implicitly!

*Asiwaju Bọlá Ahmed Tinubu is Nigeria's President, 2023*
Politics30 Years Ago by Ayslambc(op): 2:48pm On Sep 28, 2022
GOOD DAY PROGRESSIVES.

TINUBU left Mobil, Atiku left Customs.
They both joined Shehu Musa Yar'adua Group called People's Front of Nigeria PFN.
PFN later merged forcefully with People's Solidarity Party PSP of AZika and the marriage was pronounced by IBB's

decree.

Tinubu contested and won a Lagos senatorial election.
But when IBB banned all old generation politicians just to disqualify Yar'adua, Yar'adua put Atiku forward to run for President.
Prior to this time, Tinubu had jettisoned his Senate Presidential ambition to pave way for a Southern President.

At the Jos convention, Abiola and Adedibu had a long meeting with Yar'adua to drop his boy Atiku from the race so that Kingibe would not defeat MKO in the primary.
Yar'adua initially refused until people like Adedibu, Tinubu, Oladipo etc reminded him how they supported him against southerners before IBB disqualified him.

Yar'adua eventually surrendered and Atiku backed down, not willingly.

IN 1999, Atiku won Adamawa Governorship Election, Tinubu won Lagos Governorship Election.

OBJ picked Governor Elect Atiku as running mate, therefore, Atiku never had the opportunity of showing his capabilities to transform Adamawa.
Whereas, Tinubu grabbed the opportunity and turned Lagos to 4th Economy in Africa while Adamawa became a den of terrorism until Buhari dislodged the terror.

Boko haram that terrorised the state was formed in Borno during the regime of OBJ and Atiku but became a global worry under GEJ.

After 2003 election, when Obasanjo was molesting Atiku, Atiku ran to Tinubu his PFN brother for safety, he got it.

Tinubu formed and funded a political party when OBJ technically expelled Atiku from PDP. Tinubu gave Atiku the platform. However, Atiku left thereafter to rejoin the PDP because Atiku couldn't cope with the little beginning of the AC, he wanted a ready made party.

Tinubu must have told himself "Atiku is not following Yar'adua's ethics. Yar'adua was never a political olosho", Tinubu’s trust for Atiku evaporated.

And when Atiku lost in the PDP again, he was stranded. Tinubu and Buhari formed APC, immediately Atiku saw APC, he left PDP officially and ran to Tinubu again.
Buhari was afraid that Tinubu would jilt him for his PFN ally, despite many assurances, Buhari was sceptical until after Tinubu kept his promise at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

That was when Atiku also realised that he has lost Tinubu’s trust!!! Atiku again went back to the PDP after the general elections.

Atiku has been moving in and out of the PDP like a celebrity marriage, whereas Tinubu has never been a PDP man for one day.

Atiku is unstable politically, Tinubu is not just stable, his words are bankable, ask Buhari.
Atiku is unlike Shehu Musa Yar'adua, ask Tinubu, ask OBJ and ask Nysome Wike.

2023 has brought the two students of the same teacher into a single contest, who actually got the best training and adhere strictly to it?

Nigerians have to make a clear choice between faithfulness or Promiscuity. Between Selflessness and Selfishness. Between Tinubu’s Lagos Performance and Atiku's VP performance.
Between Tinubu’s ExxonMobil records and Atiku's Customs Records.

Between a Dubai based politician and a Lagos Based National Leader!!!

It’s all about collective work for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become the President Of Federal Republic Of Nigeria 2023 inshallah.

*May Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Be Victorious..

PoliticsHistorical Perspective Of The Hatred Between The Igbos And The Yorubas by Ayslambc(op): 5:48pm On Sep 19, 2022
Lest we forget !!!

Historical perspective of the hatred between the Igbos and the Yorubas

I had the privilege of attending some meetings of the Yoruba and Igbo Leaders. I was not a Leader but a Youth who knew how to wash his hands.

At one of those meetings in Owerri, I think in 1989 I think, I listened to Uncle Bola Ige and other Yoruba Leaders take the likes of Mbakwe, R. B. Okafor and others to the Cleaners when the Igbo said the Yoruba were betrayers, citing that Chief Obafemi Awolowo led them into secession with a promise that if the Igbo left Nigeria, the Yoruba would follow suit.

They accused him of not following up on his promise. Trust Uncle Bola Ige ! He pointed to Chief Mbakwe and said, "you were there in the meeting between Awolowo and Ojukwu as I was. Is that statement correct ?"

He turned to two other Igbo and two Yoruba Leaders who were at that meeting and asked the same question, saying he had transcripts of the meeting between Awolowo and Ojukwu.

They kept quiet while the Yoruba Leaders affirmed that Awolowo never promised to follow the East into secession. What he said was that if the Igbo were "driven" out of Nigeria the Yoruba would take it seriously and reassess their own position. Igbo Leaders DID NOT CONTEST this version.

Then Chief Bola Ige threw in the clincher ! "Who are you to accuse the Yoruba of betrayal ?" he roared, and continued:

1. At Independence Awolowo offered a joint Government between the NCNC and AG, with Zik as Prime Minister and Awo as Finance Minister. Awo and Zik "were still negotiating" when it was announced that Zik would be President in a coalition with NPC of the North.

The East then collaborated in destroying the West and sending Awolowo and his Lieutenants to Jail !

2. What of the 1965 elections which the West and the East agreed to boycott ? We met all night and reached agreement about 3 am on the day of the election.

In the morning, while the Yoruba boycotted the election, the Igbo went to vote

3. After the 1979 elections Yoruba (UPN) and Igbo (APP ?) Leaders were still at the negotiating Table for a coalition when to their surprise, an announcement was heard that the Igbo (APP) had agreed to a coalition with the North (NPN).

4. After the 1983 elections, 1979 repeated itself.

Not giving up, Awolowo reached out to Azikiwe again for cooperation.

Talks started and they met in Benin where Awo pleaded passionately that only a collaboration between The Igbo and the Yoruba could save Nigeria.

They didn't reach agreement but promised to meet again. Before the next meeting, the Igbo had again teamed up with the North.

Uncle Bola paused and then continued "we can go on and on. So how dare you accuse the Yoruba of betrayal ?

How many Igbo have been killed in Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Oshogbo (he mentioned other Yoruba towns)? You have your Businesses in the West and went to Western Schools.

Yet you count the Yoruba as your Enemy. You get killed in Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Zaria etc and have your Goods looted yet you consider the Hausa/ Fulani your Friends.

It's your choice. If you want to be Slaves for ever, we can't help you"

I had never been so scared in my life. I thought the Roof was going to fall. There was a pin drop silence and no Igbo dared interrupt Uncle Bola Ige because he was telling the truth.

The Yoruba Leaders ended the meeting at that point and left. I hope Chief C. O. Adebayo's memoirs will give more details of those exchanges.
PoliticsFact Check On Peter Obi by Ayslambc(op): 11:38am On Sep 19, 2022
They say we should go and verify, this is the result of the verification:

1. I went to Peter Obi's house and I found not less than 10 bullet proof cars, all Government owned cars. I thought he said, he has not received even a Kobo from Government ?

2. Under Obi, Doctors in Anambra state were on strike for 13 months. They only called off when it was clear he wasn't going to listen to them. What kind of a leader is that ?

3. Under Obi, Anambra state was on strike for 6 months, twice. That's out of his 8 years tenure, the University was on strike for 1 year. When other states agreed to pay ASUU the amount agreed, Obi refused. When the VC complained, Obi sacked him and brought in the provost of the college of education. Even Buhari no do reach this one. Google is your friend. Check this.

This shows that when Obi becomes President, He won't give ASUU shishi and schools will be on Everlasting strike. Godforbid.

4. Peter Obi is a religious bigot who knows how to discriminate christians against christians, how much more will he do to Muslims if he can marginalize his fellow christians. How ? Obi gave 80% of all the schools in Anambra state to the Catholic Church. He told the other churches to go to hell. 70% of people in Obi's cabinet were Catholics. To get a job in Obi's Government, you must be a Catholic to stand a good chance. 90% of his personal staff were Catholics. Under Obi, he made sure only Catholics emerged as chairman of APGA until the party members got angry and chased him away for making APGA a Catholic party.

Before Obi became Governor, Anambra was one. But Obi introduced religion in Anambra politics. This is what he is trying to do by visiting churches.

5. Under Obi, SARS killed hundreds of youths and dumped them in a river. The Butcher of SARS CSP Nwafor was his right hand man. Go and ask Ndi Anambra.

6. Obi used his Government position to promote his private business interest. He invested Government money into a business in which his family had interest. As former chairman of Fidelity, he made sure every contractor opened a bank account in Fidelity bank, all civil servants were forced to open an account in Fidelity bank, all secondary schools were forced to open an account in Fidelity bank. Obi was using his position as governor to market and grow his Fidelity bank to the detriment of other Banks. That is criminal.

7. There is no pipe borne water in Obi's village. I went there two days ago to verify.

8. Poverty did not reduce when Obi was governor. All the lies Obi is claiming, there is no HDI record to support it.

9. Obi did not build not even one school or hospital in 8 years. Not one. The ones he claimed to have donated to were all owned by the church.

10. For 8 years, Obi did not conduct local government Elections. He ruled Anambra without local government chairmen. Remember, the federal government gives monthly allocation to local government. There are 21 local government in Anambra. By not conducting local government Elections, Obi pocketed all the allocations that the federal government gave to local government for 8 good years. Haba ! Perhaps, the so called money Obi claims to have saved is the balance of the local government money that he has been chopping for 8 years. He needs to account for that.

11. By the way, who in his right senses save money when hunger and poverty is dealing with his people ?

12. Obi did not build infrastructure. The standard of infrastructure in the South East is former governor Sullivan of Enugu state and Governor Umahi of Ebonyi. These are the best two governors in the South East in terms of Infrastructure.

13. All the good roads that Obi is claiming to have built, was built by his predecessor, Chris Ngige. Till today, Anambra people still talk about "Ngige Roads". As for Obi, the ones he built, water dun carry am go where we no know.

14. Obi destroyed the market for northerners living in Anambra and repeatedly he has been caught on camera telling Northerners that they are second class citizens and should go back to Kano.

15. They say he will move us from consumption to Production but Obi is one of the people who got us into this consumption problem. He is an importer of goods whose substitutes are produced in Nigeria. As a serial importer, who produces nothing. He is part of those who have killed the Nigerian economy.

16. Obi was mentioned in the Pandora Papers. This is an international criminal list. He is yet to clear his name.

17. Since the problem of unknown gunmen started in the South East, Obi has not done anything in his personal capacity to promote peace in his own hometown. You don't have to be in power before you can help solve a problem. This shows you that Obi doesn't really care about people. He just wants power. In fact, Obi is sympathetic to IPOB terrorists and has never condemned their terrorist activities for one day.

18. Obi claims to have taken Anambra state to first in WAEC from a very bad position.

Well, I went to verify and discovered that it was under Ngige, the governor before Obi that Anambra made first in WAEC the first time. It was after Ngige left that the state fell drastically under Obi and were only able to pick up during his last years in office.

19. Recently, Obi was asked what does he know about climate change and the olodo did not know what a secondary school student knows. In an era when climate change is the one of the most talked about issues in the world, a presidential candidate of the biggest black nation said he doesn't know about climate change ? Tueeeeeeeeeh !

20. During his right year tenure. Obi did not increase the salaries of Government workers in the state not even once. It was Obiano who increased salary by 15% when he took over.

21. Obi did not improve the IGR of Anambra state better than Ngige before him and Obiano after him. He claims to be a creator of wealth, how comes he could not perform better in terms of increase in IGR than his predecessor and successor even when he was governor during the period of economic boom ? Under Obi, Anambra did not make more than 400 million monthly. When Obiano came, in a short period, he increased it to 1.4 billion. That's over 300 percent. Google is your friend. Verify.

22. One of the reasons why Obiano had problems with Obi was that when Obiano became Governor, he discovered that Obi accumulated a mysterious 7 billion naira expenses on the head of the Anambra state government. When he challenged Obi to account for that expenses, guy man started a fight. Use Google to verify.

When I look at all these things, I just shake my head in disappointment. I even use to rate Obi small but now, my opinion have changed. I have gone to verify and my conclusions is that Obi is scam.

RomanceMen And Sex by Ayslambc(op): 10:13am On Aug 28, 2022
MEN AND SEX.

Medically, men lose 12% of their blood sugar during every round of sex, they also lose 10% of their protein level and also lose 10% of their calorie level. Worse still is, you also lose 15% of your natural energy.

What do ladies lose?
Only 5% of their water level.......

So If you hear FASTER or HARDER or GIVE IT TO ME, my brother just runaway.

However, for every round of sex you also loose MONEY, either through POSTPAID or PREPAID.

I also recall that a Pharmacist friend of mine who told me some years ago that with every round of good sex A man looses food values of nutrients equivalent to his monthly nutrient build up from daily balanced diet of 30 days.

WHAT A SACRIFICE?
And yet they act like they are doing you a favour... It is time we start demanding for maintenance fees from ladies, please.
