Politics › Re: The BUHARI We Know - Obasanjo Exposes What Nigerians Don't Know by ayusco85(m): 9:18am On Oct 25, 2014
Awwal1st:
“Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is an upright man.
Not many people know that his first daughter
is married
to an Igbo man from Anambra. He exempted
Christians from performing duty on Sundays.
When his Muslim soldiers asked him to
exempt them from duty on Friday, he told
them the bible says Christians should rest on
the 7th day, the Muslims should show him
where the Koran says they should rest on
Fridays.” – OBASANJO
FACTS
As Head of State he slashed the number of
Muslim going on pilgrimage by 50%. His
driver and cook for the past 10 years plus are
Christians yet some uninformed Nigerians say
he is a bigot. It is a pity that some people
failed to understand that PDP deliberately
capitalised on the gullibility of Nigerians to
paint him black. This they did in order to
keep their loot and ensure that he never gets
the opportunity to send them to goal.
How many Nigerians would hold the
appointment of government, minister of
petroleum, PTF chairman and head of state
yet don’t own a house in Abuja? He has only
one house and never kept a foreign
account.Love him, hate him you cannot take
his integrity away from him.”

Phones › Re: My Experience With Techno And Its Service Agent, Carlcare. by ayusco85(m): 4:47pm On Oct 24, 2014
hernyhorla:
Hello peeps, Techno phones and Carlcare, its service agent in this country are both corporate criminals as far as i concerned.
Please, if you are considering buying any of their phones - infinix and itel inclusive, think twice or take a visit to thier service centre and see what they do to users.I thought they have stepped up too like seriously until i fell into their trap. Policy exchange thing is d climax of their robbery.
I bought a Techno H7 on 10th of July precisely and 2 weeks ago, the phone started hanging. i searched online for what to do and i found out about the service agent. I was so excited, rushed there and behold this crowd of life. I was asked to register the phone which i did, come back next day. I have gone like 5 times and the phone has not been fixed and the final say now there is no board for now. it sounds so funny to me and come to think of it, i gave out all the back up phones i can manage when i bought the phone. o ma seeeeeeeeee oooo
I am really frustrated right now that i dont know what to do again other than to buy another phone( looking at samsung Grand) when there is no money .
Next time save and buy a quality fone not a cheap big fone to avoid issues like this

Three thieves were taken to court, and were found guilty.

The first man stole a tin of sardine. The judge sentenced him to three years in prison because there were three fishes in the tin.

The second man stole a tray of eggs, he got 30 years in prison because a tray of egg contains 30 eggs.

The third guy collapsed. He stole a bag of rice

Politics › Re: I Don't Believe In Local Govt. Autonomy - LCDA Chairman by ayusco85(m): 9:55am On Oct 24, 2014
PerfectFortune:
Hon. Jide Jimoh while speaking with Dapo Aruwajoye on TVC breakfast show yesterday said he does not believe in Local Government autonomy as approved by the National Assembly as part of the on-going 1999 constitution amendments.
The controversial and award winning Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chairman in Lagos cited true federalism as the way forward where states will be allowed to develop at its own pace.
”We cannot be going to Abuja everytime we needed to get our allocation. Too much power is concentrated at the Central Govt. (FG) and that must be reduced. We need to give more power to the State. I am not against autonomy for the Local Government but definitely not the type of one granted by the NASS.” – Hon. Jide Jimoh
The one-time Councillor under Lagos Mainland Local Government also stated that the Local Govt. autonomy as approved by the NASS is bound to fail as he is confident of its rejection by majority of the states across the federation.
The Senate at its proceedings on Tuesday approved several provisions adopted by the conference committee made up of lawmakers in both the Senate and the House of Representatives on the amendment of the 1999 constitution which include Local Govt. Autonomy and removal of Immunity Clause for elected office holders.

While Don Jazzy has since gone ahead to establish and promote his Mavins crew, D'Banj has not really done much with his Lee group. However, he is one artiste from Nigeria whose name is now being sung far and beyond Aftica and Nigeria at this moment. HIS last presentation at TEDxWBG is out of this space and he has done so much for agriculture and on ending poverty.
