Threebear: I'm scared ...Trasha wasn't even nominated the last time. What if Mike is evicted . They didn't nominate her since they've figured it's a waste of time, her "army" will vote to keep her in......she later rubs it in their faces and they silently resent her....they'll evict her if presented with the opportunity. No sane human will choose Tacha over Mike. |

The housemates should be allowed to vote for who they want evicted from their midst without the input of the voting audience even if it's just once.
That's the way to reinforce good social skills as a ceiteria of potential winners. I can bet from that moment on, toxic characters like T-boss, Cee-Cee and Tacha will cease to be influential in subsequent editions.
We all the know the housemate that will be kicked out if this rule is applied.......even the person's diehard fans. |

pongwa: Big brother is a social experiment. Vote and campaign for who you love but just know the people you choose to support will be a mirror image of who you truly are. I sit back and watch how things unfold. If you like hurl insults at people for their convictions(mirror reflections of who they are), it only reveals who you are too. I stand with Seyi, Mike or Frodd. I see myself in them Cool. I see myself in Mike and Ike. I don't care if they win or not, these are 2 characters i identify with. |

scondy: Bros....no matter how self sufficient you are as a woman or man...having a partner that equally contributes substantially to the financing of the home is paramount....it should be a deal breaker ....else you just have a leech draining you emotionally, financially and mentally... The best combination is a man and his partner being self sufficient (It helps when the leader has more resources though). When a lady has her own source of income in a partnership, it boosts her self esteem and she can respond to unfavourable situations quicker. |

safarigirl: this is the problem
Anyone with such a mentality is not interested in making their own money. They think any man they are with owes them money, that is why they can't be with one that doesn't have enough money to buy them.
There is also oil on my head, I don't need man with money, I need a man with sense. We will make money together, because there are many men with money, that are absolutely senseless. You can get money along the way, but sense is hard to come by Intelligent talk. Too bad not a lot of ladies reason this way anymore. |

Crime › Re: Many Arrested, Properties Destroyed As Lagos Task Force Storm Shrine In #ikeja by ba7man(m): 8:39am On Sep 13, 2019 |
I used to visit shrine and i know the hardened criminals that hang out there.
They usually don't perpetrate crimes in the environs but they hold meetings and trail potential victims from there.
A friend got his newly bought car stolen and he was trailed from shrine.
I've once gotten my tires punctured with carefully set nail traps and it was from shrine. I drove with the damaged wheel knowing i was being trailed and they only turned back when they saw me drive into Magodo.
Shrine is dangerous and it's only the spirit of Fela that prevents the criminals there from attacking the visitors and guests there. |

safarigirl: You did not watch it well
Abi, is it because Mike dashed him cigar?
Before he left, he and Ike were talking about tattoos, when he mentioned his is a combo of polynesian markings and nsibidi. Ike asked about tats and Jidenna recognized he had some on him as well, and they had a brief conversation on it. That was the only time Ike even engaged him.
When Frodd mentioned he is a fashion designer, he asked about his clothes, and Frodd admitted he designed it himself. Jidenna is a fashion icon and will be very willing to sit down with a fashion designer and discuss with him on possible outfits. Furthermore, Jidenna mentioned he spent part of his childhood in Enugu, where Frodd is from. They could both connect on their mutual love for 042 and their memories of a historical city of that nature.
You must have also forgotten that he engaged Khafi on her London origins and seemed quite interested in learning of the area she was from. They had the most interaction in that house.
Maybe because Mike and Jidenna have beards, you think he can't connect with others. I look beyond their conversation and more at their body language. |
