Gloria3389: analyze and let's see the ones in the Quran too
The Koran is similar to operating on the laws of the Old Testament in the bible.

They never reinvented themselves for the rapidly changing world.

That explains the Beard keeping, wearing of robes, keeping of Harems and seeing women as objects that can be owned, laying of emphasis on washing up before praying (Meanwhile Jesus says it a clean heart that's important), the 5 prayers daily (While its not the number but sincerity of your prayer that matters), killing in the name of Religion and expansion of one kingdom (Christians will kill due to greed, envy, malice which is in all man but never "in the name of Jesus".

Just imagine what it would look like if its on TV, a man being beheaded and his killers are shouting "Halelluiah.....Halelluiah"!!!!!!!

Elxandre: here to read the comments..
OP take note dinosaurs lived millions of years ago, according to carbon dating. linking them to the bible puts them to just 5000 years ago.

I don't think its necessary for religion to seek validation from science. Any attempt at that, will only lead to ironically highlighting the contradictions instead. #happysunday
"A day in the sight of God can be a million years in the sight of man".

God doesn't operate on our level.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Scientific Facts: The Biblical Evidence by ba7man(m): 4:59am On Sep 14, 2014
Science only seeks to explain "How"........Religion explains "Why".

The more scientific knowledge I get, the more I tend to know more about our creator.

He created everything in everything around us and left us to discover it with our God given minds. (All technological creations, humans and animals came from the earth).

I still wonder how some people can be blind to see all the complexity and beauty around us and still think it came about by chance.

The best computers are still no match for the human brain, the best cameras can never come close to the human eye, cars are immitations of four legged animals, planes are replicas of birds, the secret of everything around everyone wherever they are was gotten from Nature...........the list is endless.

Creative individual and inventors look to nature for their works. Nature has inspired man and will continue to.............

The question is "What is the driving force behind "Nature"??

No one should tell me its not a far superior intelligence to the puny scientific mind of man.

Una fit get mouth now.......just picture if it was a Governor like Uduaghan(DR sef) or Suswan or Jonah Jang that was the Governor in the frontline state, then we would have seen how capable the Health Minister really is.

Even Akapabio will run away to either Abuja or lagos since the Ebola problem can't be solved by building a road, bridge or flyover.

ABC247: So you want the Health officials from the FCT and other states to come and inform you at the comfort of your home that they have arrived LAGOS to fight Ebola before you believe that they helped out. So deep down your mind, you believe that Ebola was fought only by Lagosian Health officials. Let me inform you that among the Health officials in Lagos were IGBO'S, HAUSA'S, NIGER DELTANS AND YORUBAS FROM OTHER STATES.
YOUR IGNORANCE IS EVEN WORSE THAN THIS EBOLA WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.
SO MUCH FOR SOME PARTY MEMBERS. SMH.
If you can't talk from the other side of the fence without insults..............get the f#ck off my "mentions". undecided
Health › Re: Ebola: West-African Nations Approach Lagos For Help. by ba7man(m):
lawrsmith: you're speaking as if LAS is using their resources in fighting the Ebola disease. you and i knew how much federal government budgeted for lagos state in order to contain the EVD. why given Fashola and lagos state government the credit you suppose to give federal government?
As always, FG distributes funds and leave it to either be used judiciously or embezzled.....without asking for feed back.

I don't recall any FG official running around Lagos inspecting isolation centers, constantly appearing on TV to educate the masses, neither were there an influx of medical experts from Abuja or from any part of d country to come co-ordinate health workers in Lagos.

Some people here were also insulting Fashola's isolation wards for looking like makeshifts when he went around to inspect the work done......which I had to start posting on how "makeshift" tents were needed due to the urgent nature of the disease.

Why are victims from other parts relocated to Lagos?? Is the Federal Ministry of Health not present in other parts??

FG just release money, kudos to the Lagos State Govt for making the most out of it.

While we were in the thick of it, no one saw it as a FG effort back then, it was more as if some people were waiting for Fashola to fail so that all hell can break loose or start blaming him.

When Fashola was being insulted for being pro-active and his efforts, the general reply then was "Was is your Governor doing to curb Ebola". They even saw it as an APC state thing.....

If it was most states in the frontline, hundreds might have died by now. Thank your Gods that it wasn't most other Governors that encountered it firsthand.

I'm sure deep down inside you all, you know this but just won't admit it.

Celebrities › Re: Chris & Anita Oyakhilome's Daughter, Sharon Has Message For You All by ba7man(m): 4:34pm On Sep 12, 2014
contactmorak: Sharon has said: "Don’t believe everything you hear. Just remember that salvation is personal. It’s about you and God. There’s no third party."

Sharon also buttressed her current state with a munch of her father’s article, 'Never Bother About Your Adversaries’ highlighting the verse "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell” (Psalm 27:1-2)."

"Focus on what you’ve been called to do. God’s Word has been declared concerning them; the Bible says they stumbled and fell! So if they started out to be your enemy, they will have to end up stumbling and falling. You don’t have to pray about your enemies; like Jesus, all you should say is “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."

omar22: Volkswage took over Skoda and Seat and continue to run those firms and supplied parts and engines and modified designs
Car companies don't necessarily need to be absorbed by a parent car company to strike "Parts sharing" deals.

They could still approach proven mass market auto companies for access to their old tech, they would gladly give it up.

ROSSIKE: alfaseltzer is talking arrant rubbish.

INNOSON manufactures vehicles in Nigeria. Yes or No? YES. In the motor industry, 'assembly' is the exact same thing as 'manufacturing'. There is NO differentiation. Car manufacturing plants across the world are known as ''car assembly plants''. The number of vehicles INNOSON produces per annum will be included in Nigeria's annual vehicle manufacturing output. INNOSON's capacity is 10,000 vehicles per annum as at today. Nigeria is hoping to churn out a minimum 250,000 vehicles per annum by 2020, and companies like INNOSON Motors Nig Ltd. are worthy, bonafide pioneers of that lofty objective.
Alfaseltzer just revealed a Chinese clone which showed that Innoson vehicles aren't their design.

250000 cars in 6yrs time?

That's truly a lofty target.

Bullsh*t, a yoruba man or Hausa man won't like to patronize Innoson because there are far better options available.

Gbawe: That is because Yoruba folks are at peace with themselves and others. The obsession of some SE posters with all things Yoruba here is mainly one way. It is unrequited attention. Most Yorubas focus on their own affairs, are secure in themselves and have absolutely nothing to prove to anyone.
I agree, they travel down to the south West to make a living, they visit South west threads to troll, they question South west affairs at every turn, they insult South west at every chance they get, they keep plotting one south west downfall or the other, they know all our Governors and politicians more that theirs...............It seems to be an obsession.

I'm just glad we're not really bothered about what goes on in their end. If only they knew true growth comes from looking within, not looking at the South west.

The way some of them talk so bitterly and vehemently about Fashola, Amosun, Aregbesola et al, you would think that those men are their Governors and that they are from Lagos, Ogun, Osun et al and not Enugu, Abia, Anambra, ibonyi and Imo.

arresa: Unfortunately for you and Nigerians, mindset like yous and government collusion. dishonesty and incompetency remains the problem and reasons for BH successes...

1. The press is the press and they only report what's on the ground, they are not responsible for what transpires on the battle field.

2. They don't make political, military or law enforcement decisions

3. They don't formulate battlefield strategies

4. They don't get yearly $6 billion military budget and pocket it

5. They are not responsible for the government not equipping the men they send out to fight boko haram

6. They don't lie to Nigerians like your government that they know who the sponsors of Boko Haram and refused to arrest and prosecute them

7. The didn't lie to Nigerians that they rescued the same girls the government didn't knowledge were missing

8. The are not wasting valuable time playing political games and pointing fingers at the opposition instead doing everything in their power to fight boko haram

9. They didn't spend $1.5 million on american public relation firm to clean up the dirty image they created for themselves via their own globally know corrupt and incompetent ways while at this same time asking Nigerians to let them borrow $1 billion to fight BH even though we budget money for the same fight against BH.

10. They are not responsible for the FG refusing to demand accountability from the incompetent service chiefs that lied to Nigerians and the world that they rescued the missing girls. They effectively altered the image of the Nigerian military into a lying and dishonest military institution.

11. The press didn't buy toy cctv cameras that didn't prevent bomb blasts in abuja or catch any terrorists on tape.

12. The press didn't refuse to demand accountability or prosecute the thieves involved.

13. The press didn't jet out of town to dance in Kano less than 24 hours the after the bomb blast that killed many Nigerians

14. The press did not .......see, it's easy to keep going on and on..

With such daily blunders and gross dishonesty, should we be surprised at BH's successes and advances?

BH is strategizing, but our government is stealing money meant for our troops and their equipment

BH is strategizing, but our government instead of spending every kobo to support our troops, but they are spending money on image cleaning in America

BH is strategizing, but our government is busy playing sissy word games with the opposition..

Back to the OP, it's disgusting and the height of idiocy and dishonesty to point fingers at the wrong people, this is why your leaders get away with murders, you blame yourself for their bad ways and incompetency instead of challenging them, instead of calling them out, instead of reminding them their duties and obligations..

Your government doesn't demand accountability from the corrupt and incompetent and you the people don't demand anything either, in fact, you blame yourself and beat yourself to death while they lie, steal and compound our problems..

Only in Nigeria people shoulder their leaders blames and burden.

In sane and lawful societies, all your leaders should be rotting in jail by now.

Very disgusting, frustrating and annoying I must say...
This is the summary of what's going on.

You have a highly analytical mind, you see things exactly as it is.

Too bad this country is populated by a larger population of shallow minded people.
