Health › Re: Another Liberian With Ebola Found In Lagos by ba7man(m): 1:14pm On Aug 20, 2014
Why are Liberians acting so daft??

They looted an Ebola care center, chased the patients out and stole the beds and sheets (most likely tainted with the virus).

Now, they want to start flocking out of their country in search of a cure spreading it along the way.

I just hope its not Labaran Maku's statement that's attracting them to Nigeria.

Desdola: Which have you done. Those were junior sec school students. Some are talking about phones, but remember Nigeria is not technologically advanced as China n others
So should we play catch-up with those advanced nations or celebrate in our mediocrity??
Politics › Re: President Jonathan Receives Tissue Papers Made By Students Of GSS, Abuja (PIX) by ba7man(m): 12:29pm On Aug 20, 2014
I would have celebrated this in 1942.............but this is year 2014 dammit!!!

The World's gonna end soon and we're celebrating tissue paper??

I guess its symbolic in order to wipe the sh*t from a lot of Nigerian brains.

Can u walk into an ATM center, flash your 6-packs and make an unlimited withdrawal??

If u can, I'll dash u my fiancee.

@op. If it was in the caveman era, cave girls will lov u but in the modern world, Cash rules not 6-packs.

Even bricklayers and labourers have 6-packs. undecided

destante: Those are important cities economically too but will still come after the likes of Kano and Ibadan especially with regard to demographics and development. Why do you guys like abusing Ibadan tho. Nawa o.
I'm actually mocking those that like to insult everything Ibadan.

I'm mimicking them.

If you've seen my posts concerning Ibadan, you'll know I truly love the place.

What Hyundai brand are u talking about exactly??

U quoted the price of the Kia Rio and compare it to the i-10.

Politics › Re: The Aesthetics And Politics Of Oshodi, Lagos. by ba7man(m): 11:26am On Aug 19, 2014
agitator: Ok, but he is good at resurfacing of Federal roads (which is cheaper to do, and planting of flowers) falls under Lagos state government. wink wink wink
Those Federal roads in the State are far more important economically.

They also lead to the most important locations eg Border, Airport, port, new settlements (Ikorodu and Badagry), The C.B.Ds (V.I, Lagos Island) etc
Politics › Re: The Aesthetics And Politics Of Oshodi, Lagos. by ba7man(m): 10:08am On Aug 19, 2014
I supervised a construction project there recently.

A top local govt official came over to try extort money from us claiming its Oshodi rds that we use to transport our materials on site.

I got angry and questioned him on the wretched state of the roads and what they were doing with all the market levies and allocations they receive.

His reply?? "Awon boys ni a fin settle" (Its used to settle area boys). He claims they have various gangs that they pay off with the money to prevent them from causing trouble.

It still doesn't stop that local govt from being one of the worst in Lagos due to the fact that its politics is run and determined by illiterates and thugs.

This man is Presidential candidate material.

Buhari, Atiku and Tinubu should take several back seats and forget that position.

Politics › Re: APC Reacts To Ogar On Osun Election by ba7man(m): 4:41pm On Aug 16, 2014
Marilyn Ogar won't occupy that position for ever.

Frankly, I don't see a lot of GEJ's minions survive in Politics after his departure.

They lack leadership qualities.

MzJackBaueress: the problem with women is that they are governed by
emotions and are slaves to passion. if women were to fight
wars,they would never end- FFK
Nice quote from one of the most controversial women in Nigerian politics, FFK.
