Fulaman198:
You can renamed rename routers and switches via the hostname command. However, to change the name of an interface, I don't believe that there is a way to do so that I'm aware of.

Thanks

Fulaman198:
While it's a great article, there is no computer hardware (NICS) to take full advantage of those speeds. I just got the largest e-boner from seeing those speeds.

What of super computers?

Fulaman198:
Hello sir, please add more details on what you are trying to do.

I want to know if it's possible for me to rename routers and switches interface on my Cisco packet tracer.
I already knew how to configure it on CLI but how do I do this on the physical architecture of the lan network .

NoriegaQ:
config t
hostname Lab_A

I know how to configure it from the CLI command prompt. What I just need is how to make it show on my routers or switches in the simulation like this:
Fa0/0
S0/0/0
LAB_A
LAB_B
LAB_C.

Or

Can't it be changed??

How can I name a devices e.g lab a,b c etc and its interface respectively!!!!

@Fulaman. Pls, what can you tell me about ip subnet zaro. I went for an interview and was asked about it. I checked online but wasn't getting any convincing explanation. Could you pls explain it to me?

From my little understanding, let me put you through:
It is called IP subnet zero. This deal in the abilility for your block size to start from zero.
Let's say your subnet mask is 192.168.10.0/27.

Definitely, this is a class c IP address with CIDR of /27.So if we take third octet,we we see that it has mask of 224.
So block size = 256-224
=32
Normally, your block sizes should 32,64,96,128....256 but since it's IP zero subnet, it'll now be 0,32,64,96,128....256 and diy can be plot in the vlsm table/graph as thus also.

E-exams normal timetable says 21-11. At least the Benin and Asaba SC says so.

Kazrem:
Ikeja SC Tuesday.

Next week or this week Tuesday

Kazrem:
Very possible. 3 SC. Apapa, Ikeja and Obalende.

When is the completion date of the e exams?

....from experience... THE OP IS SO ON POINT

I was in your shoes some weeks ago pertaining to a work in my field but when I painstakingly looked at its pros and cons,I've no option than letting it slipped off my hands.

Think decisively op because most of such jobs are modern day slavery.

NoriegaQ:
It's quite easy to use, you can read the help section. Also you can watch videos on how to use it on YouTube. Cheers!

Thanks... I'll do that

I don't know how u will be covered! I learnt Senate will sit in d second week of Dec in Abuja.

SC personnel should be on ground by first week of Dec

seyifunmi111:
You later obtained D E after your ND? I hope this would work for me too.

No.....I got the two degrees(ND and BSc).

kosplateau:
I wish I could, brother. Try to approach them immediately after the e-exams!

That's exactly my plan... anything short of that means I've failed to do what I ought to have done!!!

kosplateau:
So u are still romancing urs. Continue!

Help if you can help..had it been it was in other states, it would have been easier to do...besides,I'm very careful not to give it just anybody who will later compound my woes!!!!

I agree with Op!
