excelsiorfarm: my bro, though i didnt get your question on d local of legumes, i suggest u rephrase d question sir. Let me put a little input, legumes are a class of vegetables. Examples are soybeans, peanuts, beans, surprising locust bean tree is also a legume, leucaena spp(a shrub/tree is a legume). For your snails, watch out for predators e.g. Termites especially
leguminous plants...very good to control soil erosion

We reared it when I was still much younger(abt 20yrs ago) because of this I want to contribute to this tread In my own little way:to rear rabbit, you need male and female type and they are a very delicate animal, their cage should be devoid of any ant which can sting them, their surrounding should be very clean to prevent diseases. They used to eat wooden casing when they are hungry, when they're mating, they do so with much agility, they are much more resistant to disease s if u do the aforesaid, they have a lot of hair covering their body, when they are about to give birth, they pull off most of their hair to insulate the babies...
They eat milk-like grass and one particular grass with flower ontop!!!!!

Kings331: Bro! U r welcome! Imitation is rife in artemia and all fish feeds for that matter. Close analysis will reveal to U that majority of our packaged feeds are made of fishmeal flavor instead of fishmeal. Presently, I still use the shell free artemia and coppens too. Though someone suggested mixing 0.3mm with fishmeal, yet to try that anyway. I recently saw ocean artemia but yet to try that out. An associate suggested one renowned artemia that have bee. given better result in warri. have placed an order already. but am seriously placing an order for artemia from abroad. guess you have to make do with what u have for now. let as always hope for d best. thanks!
To prevent these trials and errors,y can't u join cafan?they are the recognised body on fish farming in Nigeria....

OK....I'm not directing it @ u specifically, I'm using general terms...anyway,maybe in future we'll know each other the more...how's that your 'shouting' GF grin

rutchiekens: All your preamble is uncalled for -- just change your email passwords or change the email address itself.

It is a disgrace to Nigeria that a forum is the best site in the country.

Some days ago I saw a complaint in a nigerian newspaper concerning NL. I don't think NL was hacked it could have been deleted by the hosts(but admin has written a post on it).

Most hackers always leave a message on the index page of a site they attack unless the hacker is black hat.
If you know the long term effects on we users, you'll understand better,PERIOD!!!!

Naijazoom: Lol it was probably the work of EVIL ZONE hackers... nairaland security is..... 50% just half + they are paying for hosting when they suppose to have their own pers0nal h0st!! it is not called 'message', it is called a 'deface' it depends on the type of attack, i dont think it will be very possible to deface nairaland unless you point a gun at osewa's head and tells him to give you admin rights at nairaland. EVIL ZONE are a very wicked sect, they just cripple your server and inject tons of malware to corrupt data.
haha....are u one of them... abi y do u know dia modus operandi like this grin??

Djangocode: Been seeing threads about NL's hack issue erywhere in webmasters section here.. Let's not dwell on creating threads and doing nothing in effect.. Seun himself apologized and promised a better future.. Even the most secure sites in the world gets hacked, PSN(Playstsation network), Ebay, Paypal, NASA, are all vulnerable to cyber attacks and Data loss.. Let's just hope Seun beef's up security tho..
I hope so because once bitten, twice shy!!!

I disagree wit u on this....

ferdimako: Thanks...another good side of hacking. What are up with ur project and CIT844?
haha,I'm just contributing in my own little and I'm very happy that I'm beginning to be making some sense...remember,it's our work,we should not make noun brouhaha to discourage us...we've greater picture in front of us....that's y I'm an advocate against 'la cram,la pour',#you can rule your world if ure determined!!!!!.... I'm yet to begin my project which 's large due to the fact that I transfered my program from ekiti to Lagos coupled with noun's brouhaha... concerning cit 844,I'm still trying to sort myself out @ HQs probably this week....Thanks for your concerns.... I saw u on LinkedIn, I would like to be one of your contacts,SIR!!!!!!!!!

I hereby use this medium to reach out to the admin of this great site on the recent out-of-air presence due to the activities of some unscrupulous people(hackers).

It's not a new devt that this unfortunate incident happened some days back, but i want you to take cues and learn from this unfortunate incident so as to forestall future occurrences.

Hacking is a serious phenomenon in the whole world ranging from espionage to identity theft, mass or individual spying e.t.c. But no matter the intention of the hackers, their acts are still illegal so there's nothing that can justify their actions anywhere.

I have been noticing that something was amissed until this recent one but in order not to poke-nose into issues that didn't concern me,i had to steer clear from interfering.

Though what happened wasn't your fault but still i would implore you if you can to take these steps highlighted below for effective security of your site:

Since our username is linked to our official email address,it means that this shouldn't be treated with a kid glove because no one can ever tell what they could do by gaining access to our respective mail through details at their disposal!

To fortify your back-end operations, you'll need to get cyber security experts, probably hackers to work with you. This shouldn't sound funny to you, even almighty Google did engage their services because it is widely believed that they know their(hackers') modus operandi better and that they are in a better positions to guard against any intruding attacks before any essential data is lost.Although, they might not come so cheap but at the end,it's worthwhile the cost.

Attractive front-end interfacing is the best to any site but back-end is the backbone and shouldn't be toyed with!

If you can track them,it would be much better as making them to face full music of their actions will serve as deterrent to others who has the intents of doing similar things as well as knowing the reasons behind this unwanted incident!!
You also need to keep us abreast of the devt so that we will not be in apprehension of our dealings here and we'll be rest assure that we are completely safe irrespective of any situation!!!!

l hope you'll not take this as an effrontery rather as a sincere advice from a concerned member!!!!!! Long live Nairaland!
Long live Lagos, eko oni baje oooo!! Long live Nigeria!!!

Yours truly,
Babanpy.

Professional masters is somewhat similar to your undergrad days where you didn't do much on research,it was majorly a coursework, that's taking lecture etc.Academics masters, you are expected to carry out some amount of researches as it pertains to your course of studies. If you want to know, you can check the brochure you are given or simply ask from the dept, they are in the best position to tell u.

M.phil is only an added advantage as it requires more research than ordinary Msc.Don't do Msc professionals because with this you can't continue with your Phd,you can only use it to work and make sure you make minimum of 60% grade!!!

Career › Re: Advise On M.sc Grade Required For Lecturing. by baba11(m): 3:23pm On Jan 08, 2014
xfire: I think that answers it. Even if you have a first class, you will still need a cumulative of 60% to progress for PhD. And I will advise you to go for a M.Phil and not just M.Sc. As you well know, academic research is the hallmark of lecturing job.
Academics in the house can also shed some light.
Besides, don't go for professional masters rather academics type,Msc or better M.phil.Your grade for employment will be determine by the school,so you have to find out from them.School like Ekiti State University has set high standard by which their lecturing career starts with Assistant lecturer not Graduate Assistant, for this reason, you should not expect them to compromise on the standard of qualification!
Career › Re: Advise On M.sc Grade Required For Lecturing. by baba11(m): 3:15pm On Jan 08, 2014
sholatech: Not really strict, but most Unis require you to score above 60 percent which is the requirement for enrolment into Phd
You rightly said it.60% is the aggregate requirement to further with phd which is equivalent to 3.00cgpa.

lineviews: I have a fusion series 3.5Kva 48V SU-Kam inverter that was recently installed by my in-law ( an experienced electrician) but he is not providing me with some solutions that are critical to the life and operatability of the unit. Such as;

1. How to put the inverter on auto switchover

2. How to charge the inverter + batteries when there is light or gen is on.

3. How to even know that the batteries are charging very well.

Professional but experience advise and guide will be appreciated

Thank you
Are u an inverter technician? Are u ready to pay for the info??

maclatunji: These are my tips, are there other tips you know of? What about women, what things should a man look out for before thinking of making an attempt to woo a sister?
1)Know him/her 2)Study and tests him/her even before even showing your intention to him/her.The test can be in the form of asking him/her about how he/she's going to handle some situation like the one we are discussing her if it happens. 3)Do your own background research. 4)And lastly, the usefulness of social media cannot be wish away.If he/she's someone that's very active on let's say Facebook,go there and check everythings in details.Their's no way he/she can hide himself/herself for some years .A great part of us is also on what we are posting, sharing, commenting, liking on because if you don't love doing it,there's no way you would be doing it most often. How he/she treats others expecially her family members will also go a long way in determining how he/she's going to treat u!!!

Bimbo Akintola,an actress also said similar things!

maclatunji: In this morning's news, an actress says she is not looking for a husband because suitors have been creeping out from all corners like cockroaches and it is creeping her out.

This gist is true but the cockroach part is my own creative writing.
She's a popular actress(BA).This is her time.In some years' time, she will be stylishly seeking for those she is ignoring. If we look it in other way round, she might be looking for attention(public stunts)!!!
