This is just a waste of money...Okija juju is right because privatisation is the answer...I am not against any government achievement plan but they are going about it the wrong way...Government has no business with Power,Telecomms, and Transportation to an extent...Government should create a fertile ground for investors then let multiple businesses come in...Competition will do the work as services will be more efficient and in order for the many competitors to make money they have to drive down prices...OR Government should have a part stake in the company...(51% Private 49%Government...PP partnership...) |
Seun: I think she needs to spend some weeks in a fattening room.Lolzzz...Oga CEO u funny sha... |
Abj |
Wow...Honestly tears were in my eyes when I saw somebody's post about having paid the money into Ikanium's account (I did not cry o..It was dust that was in my eyes..lol) May God bless you and reward you always...This has opened my eyes to help people everywhere no matter how little because I believe God in heaven will not let it go unrewarded...Happy New Year everyone |
Bukky you are entitled to a little bit of freedom....I believe you are a responsible young girl and can take care of yourself however I won't advice you to take matters in your own hands by shouting at her or talking back to her...Find a reasonable time and period where she is in a good mood and try to bring up the topic of her allowing yoy to bring friends home |
I understand your angle...U feel caged in and restricted...Like your mum does not understand you...Many parents are like that and they have forgotten what it's like to be children...All I can say is your mum is doing all that out of concern and first of all you should appreciate her for it...Next make sure you don't do something out of spite or just to show that you are mature like sleeping around or sneaking off to do something bad...Know your values as a young lady...by the way what about schOol? Are you in secondary school or in a university? |
I have read all the suggestions and this is my summary of what will make Nairaland better 1)Leave the mobile site the way it is....it's beautiful on opera mini and other browsers with the added advantage of it being simple and quick to load without 'chopping mb' 2)The desktop layout needs changes ASAP...It hurt my eyes while reading NL posts with my laptop...too small and too simple..it looked like an abandoned site...Make it more beautiful and still maintain a part of it's simplicity 3)We should know who likes our posts....It is necessary and helps the poster know who exactly agrees with him or her... 4)We should be notified if a post of ours is quoted...This makes the site more interactive as one would love to reply immediately not clicking on multiple pages before seeing a quote..... 5)We should be able to share posts and topics of NL on twitter and FB...Walahi this is something you should have done long ago as it would bring more people to your site and increase it's popularity. 6)We should be able to message another user directly....quick and simple...plus there should be an option if a user wants the feature activated. 7)There should be an app for Blackberries,Iphones,Ipads,Android and Windows....The app should have something different about it plus maybe there should be a posted via iPad notification under a post..(This one is just to show levels but it's not necessary ...hehehe) There should be a trial period to know if people are okay with any changes made and if it will affect the site positively9)Happy new year |
Bleep all you haters...laughin at someone else to feel good about yourselves...Just answer the question....@OP if you communicate better with french please use google translate...By the way the boyfriend may be dating another because if he still has interest in you he will call often |

Grey |
Linkin Park |
Some Nigerians are so foolish....so the fire is an act of God to punish him abi? Olodo rapata |
Ikani how far you na? Why so much story here and there? You are explaining too much for something so little.....People on nairaland are actually People...with feelings and human sympathies and some are willing to help...#1000 from 40 people can easily do the trick because this site gets more tha 500,000 hits a day...some people here can even pay the 40k straight...my advice to you is 1)CALM DOWN because God is in control...2)Get an account with a bank that is close to you and with the 10 digit number...If possible get a student account...3)Remember to thank those that put in money for you...It is well |
3-Security---new prisons on the outskirts of our cities..maximum and secure...Something of a state police to be controlled by the FG because I believe the people in the state would be better placed to identify their own criminals...Improved technology with security--CCTV cameras, patrol vans all over, rapid communication, better weapons I also have suggestions on other aspects such as health,transport,agriculture....funding for these projects would be gotten from private partnership with government and other countries, funds recovered from corrupt officials,Increased taxes on large companies and rich individuals e.t.c....If you guys want to hear more just holla at me |
In a few steps--- 1-Power-I would revamp the power sector by ensuring rapid privatisation of the facilities...Government has no business with power production and it is only with competition among investors that Nigeria can attain the uninterrupted power supply it so desperately needs 2-Corruption-Revamp EFCC,grant them a form of autonomy to prosecute whoever, canvass for judicial reforms,A new form of harsher and stricter court system would handle corruption...Trying of government officials will not be left to these money drunk judges...Something like RICO laws would be enacted in Nigeria meaning that all properties of public officials found to be corrupt shall be seized including the possessions of their children and a minimum jail sentence of 25 yrs |
Do you think all the armed robbers and kidnappers of today played with toy guns? As a kid one of the greatest game I played was Police and Thief where we pretended to shoot one another... |
