I read today how the head of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, personally called to give his condolences over the unfortunate killings of to Sheikh El-Zakzaky's followers and family in Zaria by the Nigerian army. This was followed by a visit from CAN’s representatives to the Shi’ite leader in Katsina to express their sympathy and condemn the killings. A few months earlier, Oritsejafor commiserated with the Sultan of Sokoto and the leader of Nigerian Muslims, Sa’aid Abubakar lll, on the stampede tragedy during the Hajj in Mina, Saudi Arabia which led to well over 2,000 deaths.

There’s nothing improper in sending condolences to the Muslim community when tragedy strikes but it makes CAN’s disturbing silence over the Synagogue incident even louder. In September 2014, 115 Christians perished in the building collapse at The SCOAN yet CAN remained silent, sending neither a message of condolence to the church’s founder T.B. Joshua nor the families of those affected. Interestingly, the Sultan of Sokoto was actually among the first to send his condolences to The SCOAN and T.B. Joshua when this occurred...

Hmmmm from where do I start? AMORC's contributions to the world is too positively immense to be exhausted in a forum like this. Her teachings are the original cosmic plans which cut across all known n yet popular fields of human endeavors . It has survived time and the dynamics of human evolution in his journey towards being like his creator. Today if any of you most christains on this forum are proud of Master Jesus, you should be grateful to the Rosicrucian tradition n knowledge with which he was raised. It would interest many of you that despite all the noise being made by uneducated religious bigots, about 3 decades of Christ Jesus history which involves his early life, his parents and family, schooling, travels and vital experiences in preparation for the important mission ahead are all missing in most Christian Bibles apart from the Catholic bible that discuss a little about the parents and grand parents. Why? such an important personality? We shall come back and ask so many questions.

Presently as we read these comments, many AMORC members are busy in their laboratory, studies, and hearts trying to solve one problem or the order. It has been the order's tradition: making the world a better place. The role call is just too long - from Akhnaton, Jesus, Shakespeare, Dalton, madam Currie, Einstein, madam Helen B and several noble persons too numerous to mention here, AMORC remains the number 1 organisation contributing to man's emancipation irrespective of class,status, age, race and affiliations.

But that was not the point raised by the earlier comment. It's the narrative that politicians should win at all cost - even if it means through the most hideous means. Now, we might like it because it suits us in the moment, but we are clearly destroying the very fabric of a cultured society. And just like our parents bequeathed us an ill-cultured society due to their actions, we are likely to bequeath to our children even a much worse country.

Politicians should learn to mobilize, campaign and win elections like we are in an organized society - irrespective of party. We can't keep behaving like people in the caves with savage mentality. If we want the rest of world to take us serious, then we need to start behaving like humans and not animals.

But I completely disagree with you that it is an APC thing. It is more a thing of Nigerian politicians. When PDP had Federal Might, they deployed it with reckless abandon, and now APC is about to tow the same path - despite their CHANGE mantra. There is obviously a savage and conquering mentality pervading the land, with very little regard to the desires and wishes of the people. When you come to a forum like this and hear young people proudly expressing such tendencies, then every shred of hope disappears.

And then we'll wake up a couple of years down the road and ask ourselves "How did we get here?", not knowing that those little acts of desperation were sowing the seeds of backwardness.
