Mogidi: Can you post link to the above story? Fayose Sends Traditional Rulers To Beg Tinubu 3 days ago,The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Peter Fayose has reportedly sent two Ekiti Monarchs to the National leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos.According to Osun defender, the unnamed traditional rulers who left Ekiti State to Lagos were mandated to meet with the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, who is expected to lead them to the former Lagos Governor whose political tactics and successes have continue to overwhelm the nation.“We are on a peace mission. Governor Fayose has asked us to meet with ObaAkiolu who should open the door for us to see Asiwaju Tinubu. We know there are moves to impeach the governor; our role as traditional rulers is the look for a constructive way to end the crisis. If the Governor will be impeached, we do not want him to be disgraced again for the second time in office,”one of the first class traditional rulers told a journalist on Sunday. The royal fathers are currently being lodged at a high-rate hotel in down town Lagos and are expected to meet with Oba of Lagos yesterday who will take them to Tinubu later in the night. The royal father who pleaded anonymity said the governor ‘is not arrogant. He has been misunderstood. We agree he made some mistakes, but there should be forgiveness and then Ekiti can move forward.”When asked if their mission was to stop the impeachment, he said: “We want a peaceful resolution of the crisis. We want Asiwaju to intervene and give Fayose a safe landing.”Fayose was on Friday served with impeachment notice by the 19 legitimate lawmakers who want him to respond to allegations of gross misconduct within the next seven days. Also, the governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko was said to have met with Asiwaju few days before the election pleading with him to forgive and forget his misdeeds having seen the inevitable failure of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) at the March 28 election. But it was too late.Meanwhile, thegovernor has embarked on barricading roadsleading to the state capital, Ado-Ekiti, with buses, logs of wood and bonfires.Follow NAIJ.COM onTwitter!– Sell phones, cars, c |

barcanista: Lol, Oga you file notice to withdraw suit does not mean that the suit is automatically withdrawn. Fayose going to court is to challenge illegality and not otherwise . Whichever way, the case will undergo lots of adjournment, applications, counter applications and appeals.

In life, ka rora feso jaiye always. Peace. See you at the impeachment party. I will be hosting one on NL oh baby ! ,oh lady!! yr analysis making me go crazy!!! Mogidi: APC are doing everything to ignite the polity. The slaughtering of dogs and baboon they promised was averted by the clever machinations of the pdp to keep Nigeria together. What they failed to get at the Ekiti polls they want through violent means. This would be resisted, the Ekiti mandate was freely given to Fayose. we shall see. |

barcanista: Well, irrespective of where the judgment will swing, it will take a long time before it is finally settled. The length of the case depends on adjournment, counter suits, appeals etc. Verily I say unto you that the present lawmakers tenure will not survive till that time. Don't hide when Fayose is impeached before expiration of the tenure of the present assembly men cos I shall remind you. Meanwhile before the law, Omirin is the speaker and Fayose is a gonner! |

MzJackBaueress: I am yet to see any Igbo man that will want to vote for Ambode.
Yoruba votes willl be divided between Ambode and Agbaje.
The survey I have had in the past 5days:
-Okada riders say they won't vote for APC because Fashola seized their bikes. These okada riders are mostly northerners. Infact, they have had meetings concerning the election.
-Commercial bus drivers say they won't vote APC because agberos keep extorting money from them . And LASTMA?
-Shop owners say they won't vote APC because of illegal and excessive tax they pay to government
-market women say they won't vote APC because shopping malls built by LASG are too expensive. Oyingbo and Suru-Alaba market women comes to mind
Land owners/property developers say they won't vote APC because Omonile give them problems.
It will take a miracle for Ambode to win. I am an APC supporter but I fear the outcome of the governorship results in Lagos.
But these people I have mentioned do not know that voting Agbaje, things might become worse! PDP will fail in Lagos if Agbaje wins. but the Hausa community love Buhari die n would respect his wish even if it is to swallow Ambode's vomit. it is too close to call. Ambode may beat Agbaje narrowly but it is too close to call. As I'm talking to you, folks are already getting federal posts as a consequence of the APC success at the center. many of these persons,PDP, are already visiting Bourdillion n now working for APC. but time will tell. 35% Yoruba for Agbaje? maybe before the presidential election, not when a Yoruba is now the VP. just watch 48hrs to election. |

MzJackBaueress: the blame will be on Oba of Lagos who made Igbos angrier than they are with his silly hate comment.
As it is,the pattern in which the igbos voted at the presidential election will play the same in the governorship election.
I can confidently tell you that 35percent of yorubas in lagos will vote for Agbaje. They voted massively for Buhari but it will not be the same for Ambode.
And other ethnic groups? Their votes will be shared between the two.
The Hausa community hates APC in lagos with passion. That's the truth! but the Hausa community love Buhari die n would respect his wish even if it is to swallow Ambode's vomit. it is too close to call. |
