The way one guy hit my car yesterday at Ikeja yesterday, I nearly drop tears, I gave em that mean look, but I honestly knw I can't do anytin.... the only tin that flash thro my mind was, that could have been one of the back windows, what would I have done?

See this picture, this was on Sunday at Ogombo road. The owner of the bus is not part of the protest, that guy climbed on it and was jumping, shouting endsars. Nobody told me before I engaged Reverse.

Everywhere was littered with Chelsea dry gin sachet, what do you want to tell those ones. grin

Female riders are the worst. They are just terrible human beings.

They are very annoying and if one is not patient with them, they can make you commit.

Two Sundays ago, I picked this lady from New Diary Farm Estate, Ijaiye. I started the trip and destination was 153 or 156 Awolowo way, been that I am not very conversant with the mainland I used google map.

Less than 50 meters to ICM entrance map stopped, says we’ve arrived, bolt app too. I turned back to her and asked if she was going inside the mall because my app says we’ve arrived.
She said ‘did I tell you I am going into the mall, I put Bleep address there.

I explained to her that my app has stopped that’s why I asked her, all these while I had slowed down hoping she will direct me to where she’s going. Instead of her to tell me to go further ahead she said just go to the mall.

I followed through, few meters to the mall security checkpoint this girl said I should park and end the trip shocked

I shock. Told her why did she allow me enter here because I’ll have to pay #200 for nothing.

This girl said it’s none of her business that she didn’t know why I brought her to the mall because she’s sure she didn’t put ICM in her destination.

I weak. She alighted from the car, cross over to governors road and face secretariat. Shey if I change it for that one now they will say Bolt drivers are this and that....

Massive crowd are likely to turn up later in day. I have feelings that this protest might not really yield the desired result everyone is clamouring for. Nigerians thinks we are still in GEJ era. He listened and empathized with the masses. but the naked truth is that we are dealing with a former Military dictator who has shed a lot of blood to get back to power after he was overthrown in 1983 by IBB. He lacks human feeling and his mentality about this protest is that it's been sponsored by opposition. I do not see him compromising and complying with this EndSars protest demand from the youths. And if this protest continues, he might want to deploy the military to protest grounds. No one fuucks with the Soldiers, they are Blood thirsty and trigger happy.

I don’t think he would want to use the military to force protesters off the street. The protest has already gained international support and the world is watching how it will play out.

Maybe this is the revolution we have been clamoring for...

Passed the tollgate around 9.05am, about 50 people are already gathered there.

Meanwhile guys, there’s possibility of the protesters closing down the second tollgate at Chevron today by 10Am.

I just dropped a rider now at Lekki phase one, throughout the ride from from Lekki gardens phase two he was on a conference call, the guys at the other end of the call are planning to mount a road block at the toll gate, my rider is of the opinion that they shouldn’t do it because of hoodlums and since Admiralty tollgate is already recognized as the Island protest ground they should leave it at that.

Other people on the call were saying protesters from Ajah and beyond are complaining of distance so they want to stay at Chevron tollgate.

***I hope they don’t go ahead with it but I am already running home as fast as I can. grin

Something happened at the workshop today. The Mech wanted to use engine oil in replacement of transmission oil, his reason was that, there is no starch in transmission oil, it’s not thick enough. But I insisted on using Toyota WS AT FLUID. The engine oil he wanted to use in replacement of transmission oil is VISCO 2000�. One thing is, the young man has lots of jobs at hand.

I'm now planning of getting a car for e-hailing business because I need to do business that can make me refund the money within 10 months but am afraid of going into this business, I'm planning of starting here in Ibadan but I can still relocate to either lag or abj. Please I want a sincere advice about this plan. Can I get a car around 1m that will not give me problems and will be able to pay back the money within the stipulated time provided that I drive by myself.

What are the terms and conditions attached to the loan? Where are you getting it from? Interest rate?

If you must get a Nigeria used car, don't spend the whole 1m on getting a car. 700-800k is fine, so you can have extra to facilitate your onboarding and also fall back to in case of downtime.

You can't make enough money to offset the loan driving in Ibadan, you need to relocate.

Lagos/Abuja; do you have accommodation?

Lagos: Driving in Lagos will test you, it goes beyond having a valid drivers license and car. (If you have been following the thread as you claim, you should understand my message)

Abuja: You will not make money like your Lagos counterparts but whatever you make will come with peace of mind. You won't spend much on car maintenance because they have good roads, less traffic and no harassment from officials.

In life, one must be willing to take (calculated) risk. Try to negotiate the loan duration.
Whatever your decision is, I wish you Godspeed and guidance.
