Faithfulness is now my middle name after when I realised the setbacks in being unfaithful/promiscuous,to me,if u aint faithful,u are promiscuous.. I have bleep different types of women in my life--young,older women(which I prefer a lot),slim, fat, tall, short even indians, lebanese and my girl friends. HNosegbe: You're not getting my point. What I'm trying to do is point out a clear contrast between those who have earned their wealth through business savvy and those who looted their respective countries or those who have gotten their wealth through yahoo-yahoo and other "sharp" practices. The ability to negotiate is one of the most critical attributes of wealthy and successful businessmen the world over. The fact that he took his time to negotiate a 10% discount on a single tie contains a very important lesson.Understood...but me kwestion is,why would a person like slim negotiate for a discount on a SINGLE,I mean SINGLE tie ... When bill gate was interviewed by oprah winfrey,he was asked how does he feel when he makes $1million in every minutes instead of replying her immediately,he brought out his check book wrote a sum of 1million dolls and called a person from her audience and gave him the cheque, the man was silent for minutes shocked to the extent he couldn't move nor say thank you and replied her "that's how I feel" |
HNosegbe: The part in bold is what distinguishes those who work for their money from those who get wealth by illegitimate means: They know the value of the smallest cent/penny/kobo.So, working hard for your "hard earn money" should make u stingy shey?,come-on my guy, doesn't it look wicked and stingy for Adenuga if seen in a buka to be saying "e fi si,rice ye ke re" jast cos he worked hard for his money?.. Slim is known to be stingy,a capital monopolist and..... |

An asteroid as big as an Olympic swimming pool will narrowly miss the Earth this evening, scientists have revealed. The 150ft-wide space rock, given the catchy name 2012 DA14, will be passing within 17,200 miles of our planet - a distance within the orbits of over 100 weather and telecommunication satellites. Scientists have reassuringly declared that it has no chance of colliding with the Earth but the close encounter will be the closest ever for an object of that size. This asteroid follows the impact from a meteor that crashed into Russia’s Ural Mountains and injured over 500 people. Alan Fitzsimmons, of Queens University Belfast, comforted BBC reporters, however, by claiming the two incidents are entirely unrelated and just a “cosmic coincidence”. Armchair astronomers will be able to see the asteroid’s record-breaking flyby – as long as they know what they’re looking for. Robin Scagell, vice-president of the Society for Popular Astronomy, said: “It will be possible to see it if you know where to look, but just waving your binoculars in the right general direction isn't going to work. “The asteroid will be a faint dot of light moving at a steady rate between the stars. It'll be thousands of times fainter than Jupiter and 250 times fainter than the stars of the Plough. “The trick will be to find the area in advance and wait for it to come through. You can use the star maps to find exactly the right part of the sky. If you hold your binoculars steady you will see this tiny point of light crawling across your field of view in about seven or eight minutes. “It's not easy, but you will have the thrill of knowing you are seeing a little object in space the size of an office block.” The asteroid will race between 12,427mph and 18,641mph - roughly five miles a second or eight times the speed of a rifle bullet – and take two hours to travel between the constellations of Leo and the Plough. Scientists will be studying the space rock to detect its composition in the unfortunate event where an asteroid could be on a collision course with Earth. Nasa’s Near Earth Objects programme identifies objects that could one day pose a threat to our planet and have so far discovered 10,000 – under 10% of the total objects out there, according to Dr Lindley Johnson, the programme’s director. My own question is if NASA wasn't able to detect the meteor that landed in russia earlier despite all the satellites we have, what makes them tripple sure something won't push DA14 into earth paths....NASA shuldnt over raise people's hope Source - CNN |
