You ignorant fellow, I have no business with you! However, I can't allow you misinformed the public by saying Balewa (Prime Minister) wasn't the Head of State. Ciao!
Get out of my mention FO.OL.

your pap*, mam*, all the eld*rs in your kindred are ignorant.

Don't let God pun*sh you for misquoting me and making it look like I don't know what I am saying, which is it is wrong to put both Zik and Tafawa there since n9th of them served the same time, the one with the executive power should be the one on the list and I proceeded by saying the OP is being mischievous by adding Zik just to increase the number of Igbo head of states.

If I swear for you for making it look like I don't know what I'm saying, it will follow you wherever you go, be warned please.

My friend, in the parliamentary system of government like the one we first adopted, Prime Minister (Balewa) had executive powers while the President (Zik), was ceremonial.

So, Balewa was the Head of State while Zik was the Head of Government. Big difference. Go do your research.

He was the PM. In essence the Head of the Government is that clear now
Read my response to the other guy, it was an attempt to add more Igbo names to the list.

Both Zik and tafawa served the same time, only one with the power should be there.

You get my point now?

Prime Minister or Head of State, no difference. They both have executive powers.
Nah, they don't, only one has the executive power, the other is just ceremonial.

It's just an attempt to add more Igbo names to the list.
Politics › Re: Past & Present Heads Of State Of Nigeria By Geo-political Zone by BabaIbo: 3:29pm On Jan 31, 2022
Padded list.

Tafawa Balewa was never a HoS but a Prime Minister, so edit your list.

Modified: I mean the OP can't put the names of Zik and Tafawa there at the same time, he should put the name of the person with executive power and stop the attempt to add more Igbo names to the list.

Rochas Okorocha, if you don't fulfil your promise to me, you won't smell that seat, even if you go unopposed OR try many times.

If you fulfil it, I can assure you, you may win as long as the ticket is zoned to southeast.

We had a discussion in December 2017 at AAUA convocation, you told me to come see you, I spent resources to ensure I honor that agreement but you and your aide, Abdul or so played me.

I got two...

The first one came with her friend to a date, I was really disappointed in her but I kept my cool and divided whatever money I budgeted for her between her and her friend.
Her friend was murmuring to her "I thought you said the guy is loaded."
I was just laughing inside.

The second was a girl that tried stealing my chain, she has already left with it when I realized but I ran after and I collected the chain.
Last last them still the chain when I tried settling a rift between two people quarrelling.
Since that day I made up my mind to always mind my business.
Romance › Re: What An Elderly Man Told Me About Marriage by BabaIbo: 9:53pm On Jan 28, 2022
That was how a man advice me on marriage too sometimes last year.

That advice really opened y eyes to some things.

He told me no matter what, I should try and be there for my wife(future wife) in her pregnancy period because anything I do to her at this stage will go a long way on how she sees and feel for me later on.

I pondered on it and in doing that I arrive at a point where I realized that sometimes some men will be complaining their wives suddenly change for no reason, but they never knew most women are wired to hold on to memories and it have effect on their future decisions.

May God guide and direct his children.

I don't think you've been to th MMIA before and you're here arguing with someone living close to the WH.

For your education, the US military is not constitutionally permitted to be deployed on the US soil (except for emergency where National Guards are called in) and not such military officer is allowed to bear live ammunitions on the US should (except in their barracks.

The FBI is synonymous to your EFCC and DSS (stealth, discreet and internal security)

While Secret service is way older than FBI by creation. Dis you ever read or hear of FBI involving in the protection of the JFK when he was assassinated?

Bros, like I told u earlier, I am yet to see the things u are accusing 1stgenamerican of doing. U are trying to make a case where there is none and so far, u haven't been able to prove that case. Maybe u guys have a history, I don't no but I haven't seen anything he said that is wrong. For your WHTA link, I have directed u to whom you should share the link with
Accusing him for what na?
Haba, I only tackled him for trying to shut others with his own view which is not right.

I don't have any history with him bro, this is a forum and people argue and learn.

As for the link it is necessary for him and others to learn.

Anyway, the post/thread is an interesting one that brought different people with different views together.

Nice one!

I don't see where 1stgenamerican said what u said he said. It was the guy he responded to that said it. So maybe your link about WHTA should have been for the guy he responded to. What the istgen guy agreed to was highlighted and that's what he emphasised
Using the highlighted part and focusing on the word "Only," my question is are they the only one involved in it like he is painting it to be?

Remember OP didn't say they are not the ones with the sole responsibility for that but his argument is that others are involved one way or the other which is true.

The US president does not travell with those security agents you mentioned.

It's only the Secret Service that is constitutionally mandated to secure and protect the US presidency.

No military, police or FBI has business with White House affairs.
Bro, you're wrong especially with that last part!

Search for us army website and read more on their relationship or duties with the president's foreign trips.

It will be better to get enlightened than having this kind of argument.

When they say Security Service are the ones responsible for the president's security, it is because it is their main duty i.e they are created for that, unlike the military and others that have other major duties but that doesn't mean they are not involved in the president's foreign trip one way or the other.
They work together to achieve the president's protection or security especially outside the country.

Some are visible i.e you see them close to OR around the president, while some are invisible i.e they work from distant/afar places, you will only see them when the need arise but they are always on alert immediately the president's trip begins.

My point here is on US President's foreign trips.

1stGenAmerican:
Best answer yet. And you’re right.

Everything regarding US Presidential procedures has a specific protocol, rhyme, and as does foreign policy.

The President is employed by the American citizens and as a whole, we have no issues with our taxes dollars being used to protect the person responsible for protecting our interests.
Lexy2014 read this response and read what he responded to.

When he said they don't have any business with White House, what is he trying to say?

If someone says something and you affirmed it, what does that mean? It means that is also your opinion if you're allowed to speak or write on it.

I don't think the gentleman said that agencies don't work together. The US presidents planes are air force planes and they are housed in an air force base. It's only natural for d secret service to work with d air force. So I think the point u are trying to make is at variance with what d gentleman is saying. The information which the OP provided suggests that d US president travels with armed US soldiers who provide him security which is false and that is what 1stgenamerican is arguing against. Even the link u provided corroborates his point of view because it doesn't say anything about soldiers providing security for the US president. Their job in the link u provided is transportation and handling of cargo
Read his replies from the first one.

If I am not wrong, he said the military has no business whatsoever with the president's entourage traveling to other countries, that's solely the duty of Secret Service.

Someone pointed it out to him that marine people are the ones operating the vessel that carried some needed/necessary tools for the trip, he opposed it by saying people underrate Secret Service and think they are just the 6 people putting on glasses around the president, that they have unit that handles that and so on.

He didn't agree they work together Oga. If he did, there won't be any need for my mention.

Health › Scarcity Of Dead Bodies Is Affecting Anatomy Study In Nigeria- Prof. Ajao Lament by BabaIbo(op): 11:14am On Jan 28, 2022
A professor of Anatomy at the University of Ilorin, Prof Moyosore Salihu Ajao, says the scarcity of dead bodies is affecting the study of anatomy and achievements of its attendant gains in Nigeria.

Speaking at the 214th Inaugural Lecture at the university, Moyosore observed that a unique thing about the study of Anatomy in most schools is the non-availability of “raw materials” needed for its practical classes.

According to Independent, referring to the availability of dead bodies for study, the scholar said, “They are never sold in the market in any part of the world. Since human anatomy is the science that is concerned with the structures of the human body, these structures cannot be fully understood from written descriptions to dimensional pictures or plastic models.

The dissection of the human body (cadavers) is the basis for understanding the structure and functions of the human body for several centuries. In other words, to fully understand the importance of cadavers to man is far and beyond what we should overlook.

The first major challenge I noticed on my assumption of office as a young lecturer in the department of anatomy was the chronic shortages of cadavers in the department and after a quick check on other universities, I discovered that we are not alone in the struggle to get bodies fit enough for dissection.

One of my studies revealed that about 12 to 15 students used a body against International Standard that recommend maximum of six students to one body. The National Universities Commission recommends an average of eight students per body in Nigeria.”
