Education › Re: Manual Labour In School: Did You Dodge This Or Were You There (photo) by babaowambe: 9:12am On Sep 27, 2024 |
I was typical ajebutter fresh from the UK thrown in at the deep end in Nigeria in the late 70s early 80s ,started secondary school there in Ondo state, every Tuesday and Thursday was labour day from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, had soft hands, easily blistered barely finishing the portion allocated to me. Occasionally I dodged the labour days and as a result suffered at the hands of the senior boys through beatings. With leather belts, pankere and koboko, although those years the standard of living in Nigeria was very high, even much better than Europe then and Nigeria was fun then. |

[quote author=matify83 post=128502681]It's splendid!
I use a 3.5kva 12v kartel inverter and 4 220AH tubular batteries I connected in parallel to make 880AH.
I power virtually every thing in the house including an lg inverter AC for most of the afternoons , an lg inverter fridge/freezer and a bona solar chest freezer.
I've been fully off grid for going to 6 years by May and I don't have any regrets at all.
The installation was done DIY with little touch by my electrician. [Can you explain in English please, and what kind of battery did you use? |
