The controversy over music star Innocent "2face" Idibia acceptance of a controversial Toyota Prado SUV gift from the profligate governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio is finally over.

The Akwa Ibom state government released a photo today showing Mr. Idibia looking on as the commissioner for Information, Aniekan Umanah presented the car keys to Annie Macauley–Idibia in the presence of her husband and a friend, Jackson Udom.

The governor will further spend addition millions of naira to sponsor some "relatives" of Mrs. Idibia to the second leg of the wedding to be held in Dubai.

These are nothing but bungglers and illiterate liars.

adyby: I am so much sure that some people don't know what fraud is. They claim the guy has not committed any crime. Well, for your information, fraud is intentional misrepresentation of fact(s); if you misrepresent the fact but intention is not present, then that is a mistake. Somebody who lied about his business address has clearly shown who he is. He, definitely, has committed fraud.

You Nigerians are so corrupt its unbelievable.

You.must have studied at Okupe liars and laptop institute of Aso Rock.

Blueboy0402:
I don't agree with your line of reasoning. Being a Nigerian does not give you the license to be a corrupt, dishonest and fraudulent person. Inasmuch as I'm not holding brief for that young lawyer, I know so many people who do not have any office of their own but make use of their friends or colleague's office for transacting business pending when they are financially ok to own their office. Is it now a crime to use a colleagues office for your legit business?

That the lawyer used his friends office address to register African Peoples Congress (APC) for his "client" is not enough reason to label him "419" or "fraudulent". Though his phone conversation with the journalist was suspecious, as a lawyer he was probably trying to be cautious because the authenticity of the caller wasn't confirmed. As far as I'm concerned, the lawyer saw loopholes in our system and quickly took advantage of it. Buhari, Tunubu, Lai Mohammed and co should put on their thinking caps and stop crying like babies. The fact still remains that APC left their guard unprotected and PDP gave them a killer blow under the jaw. It is still PDP 1 : APC 0. The battle continues.......

To start with, you said you are not holding brief for the con man, but you are making up your own ridiculous excuses for him and justifying his criminal activities for him.

We don't know anything about the fake address and phone number and even the people at the address denied knowing this con man and his fraudulent activities, but you still managed to make up your own reason why he used his friend address.

You are not only holding brief for him, you are even lying for him. Why, I don't know, maybe you are a fraudulent person like him so you can relate.

You people keep saying he has every right to do this and that which is ok, but why do things fraudulently if you know you have the right to do anything and you believe you are doing the right thing as a Nigerian? Why lie? Why give fake address and number? Why the secrecy?

This is supposed to be a clean and open process so why all the con game , secrecy and deception?

Even if this is a real political party, why should we put our faith and hope in a fraudulent political party shrouded in lies, secrecy and deception? Are these not the crooked ways we are trying to move away from as a nation?

I'm not oblivious to the fact that tribalism is responsible for the crooked rants by many of you, but I also believe that many of you are ignorant, mentally backward and corrupt for your own good, even what's good for the country doesn't mean anything to you, its all about your backward thinking ways and dangerous tribal ways and attitude.

Seriously, shame on you all..

The fact that you equated fraud with competitiveness says a lot about you and your own corrupt mental and physical state of mind and capacity to be fraudulent and crooked.

biafran soul:
what's this one saying? it's this your people's kinda mentality that ran Nigeria aground. You expect govt to do everything for you all. wake up bro! This is a competitive world and you can't lay claim to what you don't have.

PapaBrowne: Is he not a Nigerian?? Doesnt he have the right to register a political party with the name African Peoples Congress.

This article is just pathetic! Look at the small boy who outsmarted the whole gang of opposition politicians!
Yet they want us to believe that it is the PDP in Aso Rock that did it. If it were the PDP that registered the party, would the man in question be switching off his phone. No people. He would be lodging somewhere in Transcorp with the full protection of the billion dollar party that the PDP is.

Maybe the guy is just a patriot motivated by his desire to ensure that a Coup plotter(Buhari) that truncated our democracy does not get anywhere near Aso Rock.

I like the guys smart move. My advice to APC right now is that they should seek a negotiation with him and offer him a huge sum to change his party name. As it currently stands, he will win the case in any court of law subsisting on any part of the planet!!

So the fact that you are a nigerian gives you the right to be a liar, a con man, a dishonest human being and a fraudulent person?

You people are mentally corrupt just like the corrupt people ruining the country.

We started off and progressed in the right direction, but we lost our way with molue and bolekaja.

We struggled to get get back on track with Jakande and the first metro rail attempt in the 70s and 80s, but the military with their bad bele, tribalism and jealousy derailed that effort.

Now with another set of credible and visionary leaders, we are fully back on track.

Correct answer.

obilojay@yahoo.:
Lagos state is the richest state, wit revenue income that worth,42 billion naira monthly.

Even adding monthly allocation to that number which = 32 billion, your number is still wrong.

32 billion with 20 million people to provide for with the largest infrastructure demand in the country, Lagos is one of the poorest states in Nigeria.
