PoliticsDonald Duke: A Fraud Or Visionary? (Tinapa) by babasin(op): 1:44pm On Jan 03, 2008
why did Donald Duke chicken out when OBJ/EFCC arm-twisted him during the PDP primaries?

Could there be something we dont know? Could this guy have pulled a clever FRAUD on his people?

TINAPA, Nigeria (Reuters) - In the minds of its creators, the Tinapa resort in southeastern Nigeria will rival Dubai or London as a shopping and trading paradise for rich and enterprising Nigerians.

In reality, about $340 million has been spent since 2005 but 80,000 square meters of pristine retail space lie empty, the silence broken only by the footsteps of a few security guards.
this is 34billion Naira down the drain.

Nigeria's biggest banks have invested in it, though the state of Cross River where the resort is located and the federal government have contributed more and are now heavily in debt
He said Tinapa would succeed because there was pent-up demand for it from affluent Nigerians who currently travel to Europe, the United States or Dubai on shopping holidays.
"Our target customers don't watch Nigerian television, they watch CNN. To them, Nigeria is not glamorous. We want them to associate Tinapa in their minds with Dubai or Paris," said Ndem.

The other key target group for Tinapa are Nigerian traders who take frequent flights to Dubai, India or China to buy goods which they bring back as luggage and sell at home

PoliticsRe: Why Was Che Guevara Killed By The CIA? by babasin(m): 4:56pm On Jan 02, 2008
Let the people have what they want simple!!
indeed just like your US allowed the Palestine to have 'HAMAS' as their democratically elected leader.
or
just like they allow Congo people to enjoy Patrice Lumumba their elected leader

Among them was a CIA-sponsored attempt to poison him, which may have come on orders from US. president Dwight Eisenhower.[9] CIA chemist Sidney Gottlieb was a key person in this by devising a poison resembling toothpaste.[10][11][12][13] However, the plan is said to have failed because the local CIA Station Chief, Larry Devlin, had a conscience issue and did not go forward

What a moronic comment? Where in the world have ALL CORRUPT POLITICIANS been arrested before?
RIBADU should have arrested the BIG FISH and he would be praised:

BIG FISH:

OBJ
IBB
Annenih
Mantu
Bode
Ali
Iyabo
Obaseki

Let him start with above. He will recover more money than from Alam, Dariye, Tafa.

Mind you he has done nothing special. Abacha had 'FAILED BANK TRIBUNAL' and all corrupt BANK chief were in PRISON.

If he were a "Black German national" in the 1930s,he won't be producing such driveling commentary.I'm sure there wouldn't have been internet access in the concentration camps where he would have been interned for being black.
if he were a 'RED INDIAN' when US was busy wiping and stealing their GOLD, he also wont be producing such.

As the controversy over the legality of the re-appointment of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) continues, THISDAY was informed last night that the Presidency was contemplating ways of “addressing the issue”.
THISDAY had reported yesterday that the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Michael Aondoakaa, had raised the issue of the legality of Ribadu’s reappointment by the former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, shortly before the end of his tenure on May 29, 2007.
Aondoakaa, it was reported, had noted that the appointment was not approved by the last Senate as required by Section 2 (3) of the EFCC Act which states: “The Chairman and members of the commission other than the ex-officio members shall be appointed by the President subject to the confirmation of the Senate.”
THISDAY had also reported that there was a petition before the Presidency which alleged that Ribadu’s re-appointment was illegal and that all the cases he endorsed for trial since his controversial second term commenced amounted to a nullity.
A Presidency source confirmed the new development to THISDAY last night, saying the president was “deeply worried” that due process was not followed in the re-appointment of Ribadu and wants to rectify the situation based on the legal advice of the AGF.

There is something fundamentally wrong with our make-up, our psyche. We are very, very, very EVIL.
AFRICANS, BLACKS, ARE VERY EVIL. I make bold to generalise, irrespective of what anybody will say
nobody is born EVIL!

africans basically lack GOOD education & opportunity.

those that went about killing people are:

1. drop-out
2. not gainfully employed

Note that the Poltical class delibrately created these people so they can use them as weapon against others.

I don't think if you were at the brunt of Hitler's pent up frustrations and wickedness (where you have to live in concentration camps to be eventually murdered in cold blood prior to starvation of you and your family because of your race/nationality) you would be writing what you just wrote.
and what about the 'RED INDIANs' that were wiped-out by US?
