I have been reading many comments on nairaland by supposed youths declaring that the black race is finished,that the black race has no hope and can never become great,that the black race will forever be the bottom race.I wish to say at this juncture that this assertion by many of today's youths is as a result of the failure of their parents(the older generation) whom after independence couldn't take the black race to greater heights but destroyed the black race,this is a common feature of most black societies of that generation,i will always say that the older generation,mostly people above 50years have failed the black race,they are a disgraceful generation,they led us into the mess that the black race is in and they have created despair for the youths who have given up on their communities,nations and the black race as a whole.
They have made the black race a laughing stock,a weak race.I laugh when some older person tries to advice me,take act like they are saints and they know it all,but they are extremely greedy and selfish,that generation cant give any advice they have nothing to offer,they refuse to repent from their INCESSANT ills despite the hues and cries of the young ones,you can imagine how they killed us when looking for jobs,they watch as we are being enslaved all over the world,they have enslaved their own children,they have turned the youth of the black race to nihilistic barbarians raging and raping,killing and maiming themselves,that generation is pure evil and they have thought the youths evil.NEVER TAKE ADVICE FROM THEM
That generation could not create a great destiny of the black race,they reinforced stereotypes and stigmas of black race being a lowly race and now the youths have internalised that dogma because they can hardly see any shining examples.I REPEAT THAT GENERATION IS A TOTALLY FAILED GENERATION.

I have a message to todays youths,PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW THE SAME PATH CREATED BY THAT GENERATION,LOOK INTO YOUR SUBCONCIOUS AND REENGINEER YOURSELF,LETS CHANGE THE SYSTEM,COURSE AND DESTINY OF THE BLACK RACE,PLEASE LETS FIGHT FOR IT,WE CANT AFFORD TO BE FAILURES LIKE THE OLDER GENERATION,PLEASE LETS NOT SINK AFRICA LIKE THEY DID.
1.Please do not follow the footsteps of your parents.Do not follow their part of destruction,their path of religionism,their path of failure,corruption and lack of innovation,their path of poverty,deception and corruption.The older generation took that path and are indoctrinating the youths into that path,but i urge the youths not to sink with their parents.

2.The youths shouldn't live the fate of Africa and all other black societies to that generation,they have done their part and have proven as failures,the youths should stop following them,yes they have the money to entice the youth,but the youths should rebel against them,they are never worth following,they have proven that they will time and time again lead the black race down the pit,their wisdom as failed.The youths should simply learn from them,never take advice from them,because they do not know how to progress the black race.THE OLDER GENERATION ARE SIMPLY FAILURES.The youths should rescue Africa from their destruction

3.Now the youth of today,please do not despair,fight for the success of the black race,pursue wealth,pursue innovation and invention,pursue peace,progress,unity,leadership.Please lets build Africa and make it great,do not let the failures of the past generation deter us.We can build a new Africa,and return the greatness of Egypt.I urge the youths to desist from giving up and getting defeated,we can and should do far better than the previous failed generation of losers,the older generation are simply losers.

Also OP the war by the black race is a very deep brutal war that will take alot to win,we have to fight a long and hard war and win many battles.Its not an easy race by any means,we have to take cognisance of that fact,we have so many internal issues to deal with before the external issues,its not going to be easy,pls give black people a break .we have come a long way

currency redomination is a concept used by countries who do more import buh with minimum foreign reserve so value of their currency against world major currency such as the dollar falls cos you have to exchange your currency for dollars in order to buy in the international market and import into your country. If your country does more export than import then it's advisable to rather devalue your currency to make it less attractive for businesses who set up in your country and later practice capital flight or taking out all the profits or earnings or foreign exchange earnings made in the country out of the country. Example is the Chinese yuen,Japan and South Korea.They have intentionally devalue their currencies to promote export than import into their countries.

So what Ghana and Nigeria did when they first discovered and mined their rich resources was to intentionally devalue their currencies which then was higher than the dollar and also later due to instability and oil prices crushing, inflation further devalued both currencies.Argentina ,Ghana some Asian and other European and African countries also then decided to redenominate their currencies because devaluation had not helped reduce capital flight and importation of goods was getting cumbersome due to more local currencies chasing few dollars.

Nigeria considered and planned to do it buh rescinded due to fears unknown to them.Ghana and the rest went ahead to redenominate their currencies and Argentina and Zimbabwe for example have had to redominate theirs again and again because hyper inflation rate has once again devalued their currencies that Zimbabwe has stopped issueing their currencies again and now spending the US dollars.

Ghana since 2007 has managed to keep the value of the currency high against the dollar buh the dollar is very strong because Ghana does more import although now Ghana export more than it imports,capital flight by huge multinational corporations keeps devalueing the cedis.In 2007 it was 1 cedis to 1 dollars buh now it's 5 cedis to 1 dollars. Naira was then 150 to 1 dollars in 2007 buh it's now over 400 naira to 1 dollars. The same high importation and capital flight is troubling your naira.

Thats why i mentioned corruption,most of the construction companies from china are state owned,that is they are funded by their government,so they have all the resources to acquire equipments,They might even not have been created with the intention to make profit,Nigeria needs to set up its own construction agency like ferma, but a better funded ferma to expand its capacity,but corruption wont allow it,Nigeria needs to get rid of its massive corrupt system,there are some local construction companies,i doubt if construction of roads business brings quick returns and Nigerian business men like quick returns,if not you for done see big Nigerian construction companies like oil companies,what i am trying to highlight is that is not necessarily the capacity to construct or just mere preference for whites but the business aspect of constructing roads that affects indigenous players in the construction industry in my opinion.

Probably you might feel irritated already reading this... what name do you bear? Probably one invented by the whites. Funny how dependent we blacks are to the western world for everything.
I’m not racist, but I’ll give you some reasons why blacks are inferior or owned by whites:

1. WE ADOPTED THE ENGLISH NAMES
I’m going as straight to the point here: Giving someone or something a name depicts ownership. When you buy a pet in Nigeria for example, you name the dog whatever you like and that means you own the dog. Same goes for the woman who takes the husband’s name; it means she’s owned by the man( according to our cultural rites).
Now, during naming ceremonies in Nigeria, we’re restricted to giving the baby a minimum of two names( one from your dialect and the other from the white invention). Why not two local names? Why must we use the names meant for the whites?? Kudos to the northerners who name their children “Musa” instead of “Moses“.

2.WHITES WONT COMPLAIN ABOUT RACIAL TREATMENT

These guys are the superiors and that’s how much power we give them. A white man calls you “Nigga” and you’re upset, calling them racists and whining behind your keyboards. It’s funny that you weren’t slaves in the 20th century, but it still hurts that someone calls you nigga (attached to slavery). I mean how do you react when someone calls you a sinner Even when you’re sure your savior Took that burden away?? You probably just laugh about it. But the moment you get emotional about what you’re called, it becomes a part of you and you’re taunted with it.

3.NOT JUST NAMES, BUT WE LOVE EVERYTHING FROM THE WHITES

Blacks are so dependent on the whites, so crazy that we don’t even have a credible electronics manufacturer in Nigeria and not even in Africa, but we are okay with it. Africa has the best hides and skin because of wildlife, but we still depend on Gucci or Prada (like wtf are we even utilizing?).
We have the original stuffs but the whites help us utilize it and sell it to us at a crazy rate. Just give me one reason why the blacks are superior again? We don’t deserve to be in the same level with the whites.

4.WE HAVE CORRUPT LEADERS
You Might probably wonder why this should be in the list:
Africa, especially Nigeria has natural resources. Take “oil“ for example. I didn’t know USA or Dubai has oil until the 21st century. Lol... Maybe they didn’t gain oil, probably we lost oil. Most credible Nigerian politicians have oil wells now.
No invention, no tax refund, But citizens still suffer out of unemployment and as soon as they have a slight chance to relocate to the western world, they’ll take it like it’s a poverty alleviation chance. So sad that our citizens now relocate to Ukraine, Cyprus or Germany to help their government gain tax money (when we take fall reach Ukraine or Cyprus level? )
The fact is if we had a good government, we wouldn’t need the whites to tell us how much we need them.

This is not a racial protest, I don’t give a damn about racism. I’ve had white guys call me “nigga” and I wasn’t offended. Like why should I be? Am I not a nigga? What different will it make if it comes from a white guy?
One thing I’m sure of is I’m no slave to the western world. But everything we do today as blacks are invented by the whites... There is BET awards but where is the WET awards? If you don’t feel inferior you wouldn’t just need to be special among your race. If we develop football leagues in Africa, we won’t need to pay stupid fees to watch football matches on TV. Now tell me... what do we have to be on the same level with the whites?

I’ll tell you this: equality might be possible for other black countries, but you see 9ja... don’t even bother.

- We cannot deny that northerners are skillful and talented in everything they do, but instead of promoting their works, we’ll rather call them “Abokee” (not the best way to support the nation either)
- The yorubas are the entertainment of the country. others Dey try, but the international artists we have are mostly Yorubas.
Don’t fight your brothers, there’s always a Place in the country where You fit in and can establish your name.

We don’t need to hate the whites either, we only need to earn respect for our own kind, and the only way we can do that is by promoting our own and being independent.

I read it here many years ago.

An engineer had a white INTERN, like an apprentice and he had to go out of the office to another office to fix something or meet with the manager or something like that.

So, he decided to take his white INTERN so as to show him the ropes of the business.

On getting to that office, the man was absent but he met the secretary.

The lady addressed the intern and totally ignored his black boss.

She even offered the white intern a seat as well.

The white intern was embarrassed.

It's a true life story bro.

And that shows how pathetic we are.

ITS CALLED TRACK RECORD MY MAN,the whites have created an history of greatness and they have sold it to the world,they have greatly magnified their image in the world as it is today,other races who also have white skin have benefited from that image,also the average track record of poverty and slavery have greatly dented the African image even for Africans themselves.It is just natural human condition.I thinks that is also the argument of the OP only that he says things in an annoying ignorant manner.Blacks need to create a track record of progress and prosperity to improve their image world wide,even for themselves.Things will change when that happens.Whites are merely enjoying the privilege of their success,its not just because they are white skinned.

i think this is due to the fact that whites appear nice,most Africans grow up experiencing wickedness from their own kind more than any other kind,also most whites in Nigeria are mostly well placed whites not ordinary folks, i think that is a strong reason why many Nigerians try to please whites, whites appear to be rich on default to poor Africans and most Nigerians like to kowtow to rich people not just whites,i think as we grow economically things will change rapidly,thats why our biggest fight should be economic success more than anything else.
