I don’t like arguing about politics but I can still talk about what I know. I’m not a kid, when tinubu became the governor of lagos in 1999, lagos is a slum, I was there and I witness it. He sign many deals with foreign companies, he wave tax for some of them in exchange that they will develop the environment that they are located. And he also use is influence to bring some foreign companies over. I saw this,,,, I now live in Abuja now, and can compare both together, he even do something that influence me some few years back, he called dangote that he should bring is refinery company to lagos instead of ondo state, he promised him that he will wave a year tax for him because that company will employ 500k unemployed youth……..some of us that voted for him have a great reasons and many more

There is complexity in public policy especially in education and medical care. Education is expensive everywhere. Nigeria is not the only country subsiding medical education. The western nations subsidized their education more than in Nigeria. It cost poor people to educate their children in Nigeria than poor Americans or Canadians. I have two kids that have graduated college in Engineering and Health care. I spend more money educating relatives kid in Nigeria than I spend on my children in America. If you children are averagely ok academically they can attend college free from elementary to PHD level. I have my third child in community college, her honor program provided her with free computer, We initially pay for her tuition but she was awarded full scholarship and we were refunded what we pay.
It is not my position that the medical brain drain is not an issue, but my issue is the people that is living large on government that is suppose to tackle the problem proposing solution that is not likely to address the issue.

There is difference between ambition and greediness. you are confusing the two. Wanting to move to the next level of comfort through hard work is not greediness but ambition. These doctors don't go outside and practice with Nigeria certificate alone they still have to pass their exams before hey can practice.

You're not seeing the full pictures but you're judging on sentiment. I once apply to study medicine at Canada and I know how much it cost and other western countries, medical studies are very cheap in Nigeria compare to other countries that's why we have alot of them here. If all this countries take all of our country doctors finish, who is going to treat average Nigerians if we are sick?, What's the benefit that our medical studies is cheap if we are exporting them to the western world
