When Buhari won we know what we saw from most northerners here, there was jubilation everywhere okada riders were driving James bond but today Abuja is like a city bereaved, I know is the same all over Nigeria. Two annoying scenarios have happened here today

The first one
Imagine we all went to eat at a restaurant, 3 men were talking about election on a table n from their conversation u know they are friends n they had election bet, 2 was supporting tinubu n one peter obi, they we’re having their discussion without insulting anyone.

One girl on another table that doesn’t know them n they don’t know him just said “na u go suffer am”……..na so one man from d 3 guys just stood up n told the girl

I have been a millionaire in my 20’s n now I am approaching 50, I am d ceo of this n that n I have this n this n I have never been a politician so what’s your problem. The man was so annoyed that it took d intervention of people there to calm him down, the lady couldn’t even wait to finish her food before she left………even d man supporting Peter obi among d 3 friends was angry but he just had to caution himself


Same thing happened here not quite long, d same line of “na u go suffer am” is the same thing this girl dropped when she’s doesn’t even know d people discussing

Sorry to quote u, it's politics and u have to protect or have an interest. I heard some old women yesterday at Ilode market saying what has tinubu done for osun. I doubt if tinubu is popular in osun before the general elections. Another thing that could have contributed to tinubu loss in osun might have something to do with the tribunal judgment. Many people love the current governor and he is also very popular.

The last time I checked, NYSC doesn't pay corpers using cash. Besides, CBN has branches in all the 36 states and the FCT. They kicked off Cash Swap program that targets unbanked Nigerians in rural communities. Those corps members should access cash through that channel, if they really need cash.

Unless the CBN drops this policy, everyone must embrace it. Cashless payments have more benefits than carrying cash about. Our problem is that we are obsessed with cash payments, and we are struggling to come to terms with the new normal.

I once serve as a PO to polling unit in abuja, polling units need catch to function perfectly and even after the election I still pay for tp and many transportation to and fro was done by cash and how about food for the security and inec staffs. All this must be done with cash

I am from South South and we don't believe in saying things to favour oneself. We believe things must be said the way they are inrespective of who is standing.

OBJ was from South West. He ruled 8years.
Yar Adua was from North he ruled 2 years.
GEJ was from South South he ruled 6 years.
Buhari is from North he has ruled for 8 years.

If you do the maths, you will see that South South and South West has ruled for 14 years and North has ruled for 10 years.

Atiku has promised
decentralisation of power to allow states or region manage there resources. This is a good thing as it will be a wake up call for states to think outside the box rather than solely depend on federal government allocation. This will help individual states to develop at their own pace and it will also benefit the nation on overall bases. But he is going to privatise many sector. This aspect is the ghost we don't know because he might just sell most national assets to his family and friends in the name of privatisation.
