I Think I can answer that question. The scaning machine can only read one oval in a column.  If you think it's prudent to have a seperate oval for ever concievable ethnic mixture perhaps you should advocate that.

Ok, I'm gonna agree with you for a minute that the "other" is technically meant for the mulattoes. I still don't think it's suitable for them though. Why can't they be allowed to tick all that applies? (rhetorical question).

As for the "other" box, I don't feel it's "right". It's a very lazy way of ignoring mixed people's genre. Plus I'm so sure that in most cases, "other" is made for minor ethnic groups/races (that are not included), and not for mixed people.

Who am I to call your issue a small matter? Well, I'm someone that doesn't really care about your issue. Plus, you're "black", aren't you? So, it's technically a small matter. Get over it.  

Oh yh, hope you know that "black" is not really referring to your skin color, it's simply a racial classification. There're light-skinned "black" people. So, again, get over it.
