talknafree:
The major problem Nigeria will continue to have is having bunch of populated citizens around you who are small minded, envious and low self esteem.

Just because they never get to see beyond their nose, they think others can't see some few meters away.

I have studied this forum and have noticed that people expect you to be a poverty striven as they are.

What's the big deal in gettting a car as a gift from a lady? Just because you have only dated a mushroom big girl (local champion) all your lives doesn't mean other guys can't meet and fall head over heels with another chap.

I date very matured and sophisticated girls that even me get wooowed with myself atimes, wereas most of my friends still run after what I will call 'small girls'. They might be working but not to my taste of prefered ladies.

When people don't go out, they think their father's farm is the biggest. Just because your girlfriend can only afford to buy you a pair of briefs doesn't mean others can buy their boys friends nice cars.
I can see that all our efforts to show you gullible minds that OP loves writing Aesop's Fables is futile.

How on earth can you take a guy (OP) that calls himself a pilot because he flies paper planes serious?

How in the world can you take a guy(OP) that calls himself a Neurosurgeon because he gave his dog CPR serious?

How do some of you sleep at night sef?

I now see why 75% of the victims of Nigerian yahoo-boys and 419s are Nigerians themselves.  I'm sure you've been 419'd several times. True?  grin

U no see say d moment wey I don notice her level of understanding I don jejely leave her make she dey loop up and down. She just dey talk for talking sake.[/quote]Will you shut the 4uck up?! What sensible point have you posted since the beginning of this thread? You couldn't even differentiate "can" from "can't". Dullard! Upon all the a$$-whooping I gave you, you still have the audacity to quote me.  You're an ****** for that! Non- sense!  angry

Amblors claims he's in love with Nigerian music. He listens to Nigerian songs 70% of the time. Whereas, he believes American music is by far better. Why isn't he listening to American music 70% of the time then? It's not asif American music is hard to find. Why does he prefer "shittiness" over "quality"? Why does he prefer "second class" to "first class"?

His stand doesn't make sense to me, and since he can't justify his points, the civilized thing to do is to 'free' him. And that, I have done.

So Mr. baba eleko, what the 4uck is your problem? Arrow!

Btw Amblors, if I may ask, why do you love Nigerian music? Last question.  grin

punishing myself? smh.
i trust you have jewellery aite? e get levelz,
they're of diff cost and diff ranges n quality
you don't wear clothes you go out with indoors, and they're normally not same quality, but you still have em right? all of em na cloth abi?
you have designer shoes, you still have your nigerian made slippers, all of em na footwear abi

same with my musical taste.
i didn't say i hate Nigerian music, i've continally reiterated that i love love it, currently bumping to Bosalin - SHINE.
they're times i want to listen to american music too.

i listen to all of em, no make them all mates.
In a class of 50, person dey wey dey always come first, second on the regular.
doesn't make 2nd wack, 2nd is of lesser quality than the 1st but its still good.

babe chill abeg.
I love 9ja music, i fit get n play naija song pass you sef,
i love american music n it doesnt change anything American music > Nigerian music #fact.
don't confuse that with you preference where this is true Nigerian music > American music.
Hm. I'm just wondering why you would prefer to listen to music with lesser quality, when the one with higher quality is right by the corner.

You're comparing clothes to Music? Hm. Interesting. This is music we're talking about here you know. Music is everywhere. You don't necessarily need money to get the music of your choice. grin

My point is if you had the opportunity to wear "designer" clothes all the time (indoors and outdoors), wouldn't you do it?

Same goes to Music, if you had the opportunity to listen to quality music (American) 24/7, wouldn't you do it?

Well, you do have the oppotunity, why are you still jamming to Nigerian songs 70% of the time? cheesy

@babe,
for me i love Nigerian music but speaking objectively, its miles from american music,
The few problems we have with our music industry are; inadequate female singers, and the fact that we're still a "fifth world country". Boys are still hustling. The hustle is still very fresh and hot. You CAN'T (capitalized and highlighted for the f00ls that can't read) compare Justin Beiber's stage performance with Whizkid's stage performance. You should know why. We are not drowning in wealth as a nation yet. PHCN would probably 'take light' during his performance. hehe. Jokes.

I can easily compare Tiwa savage's talent to Rihanna's. Rihanna is overexposed and overrated like MANY American artists. She has a song on her latest album that has only 5 WORDS as it's lyrics.  grin The song is a HIT! American 'pop' radio stations play the f00lish song 57 times a day. The beat of the song has been overused.  Talk about celebrating mediocrity.

Have you heard Rihanna perfom live? CHEI! It's deafening. grin She can entertain on stage though. I love those her lap-dances.  cheesy

I can provide more examples.

My point is, we have the good, they have the good. We have the bad, they have the bad. Subjectively, Nigerian music is better. Why? It is what I prefer to listen to. Objective, we are not there yet. We'll get there soon, hopefully.

amblors:
music is about content and instrumentals, except ofcourse your doin acapella,
but content is an important part of it, Naija music generally lacks plenty of it.
Dude, what content are you talking about? Expatiate.

amblors:
Eldee - Na Wash, he he
Eldee's 'Na wash' doesn't have sensible lyrics? NA WASH! Big fat wash!  grin Check out 'Jor o'; correct song! Innovative and fresh. 'Na wash' and 'Jor o' are in the same category in my book.
