Now that fencing has been done and the land and property has been secured.

The next phase will be borehole drilling and then stamped concrete flooring with interlocking stamps.

We shall see how far we can go with achieving that before the end of the year God willing. Thanks to everyone who has been part of this project both on and off Nairaland.
God bless us all amen. smiley
Wow!!! Lovely gate but is it not too expensive at that price?
Again that Land must be 1 and half plots.

@babs612000

I forgot to add the omo onile fees for fencing the land. The got paid 50k for that.
ok now you can see that you have spend more than
N850k when you add the N180,000 for gate,N120,000 for the iron and omo-onile money.
Well let give thanks to God that the money is coming in for the project .

Yes that surely high. Some parts of my land had 12 coaches whilst some were 10 coaches high. My frontage was only 6 coaches high as we used ironmongery for the rest of the front for a nice view and a little beauty. I shall upload photos this weekend as I have been very busy with work lately.
.

I am sure you will spend up to that amount if you have 12 coaches,10 coaches. Now how much did you buy blocks and cement? I used 9" at N150, cement was N2200.and the gate cost N100k.

Hello Sir. I am kinda in a fix right now. At my axis, there are lands selling for 150k to 200k per plot. I will like to buy 2 plot which is 300-400k but I wouldn't have money left to fence it or put any foundation it immediately. How much would it cost me to at least fence it to knee level? The plot measure 60x120 over here.
Have just fenced my 60 x 120 last month in Abeokuta it cost me N 850k with gate .

You don't have any problem in getting Nigeria visa just explain to them why you overstay with proof.

I guess what I'm asking is, because of what happened above, as I said I missed my flight and overstayed by 29 days, if I get the flight back to the UK later today, will I ever see my husband again? And yes we are legally married
I don't think you have any problem in not seeing your husband reason you are a Nigerian even if you overstayed your visa .You can still apply for a Nigeria passport which you can use to travel anytime to Nigeria.
Thus your overstaying in Nigeria can never affect your husband as well not to go to Uk.

Hi guys I need help and advice asap I came to Nigeria for the 2nd time but this time accidentally missed my flight now I overstayed my visa by 29 days while saving to get a flight ticket back to my home country. I have my flight booked for tomorrow but if I go back to uk will me overstaying affect me coming back to Nigeria to see my husband or affect my husband coming to uk?
I did not understand your write up here.
You said you went to Nigeria for 2nd time and u missed your flight and overstayed your visa.
Now which country passport do you have your visa on?
But your overstaying can not affect your husband going to uk.

Hi Babs,

Have a great trip! Yes keep in mind that "lights out" isn't just a term you will hear people say...it's something to expect as the electricity will go out at random and it can last all day or for a few minutes. Carry a flashlight or get a flashlight app on your phone. It's a life saver believe me! You and your boys are going to have a blast! Take in all the goodies Nigeria has to offer and don't forget to enjoy the delicious food and music! smiley
Thanks a lot.

Yes at the time of my trip to Nigeria I had a boyfriend but sadly things didn't work out. Yet I don't regret anything because he was a gentleman and showed me a great time. So as of now I am single smiley As for the "scam" thing, I was warned all about that prior and during my trip but thankfully I was in good hands and all the brothers and sisters (friends) protected me and made me feel at home. For my first international experience, it was wonderful. I hope to do it again soon wink

Thanks for reading my post. I'm still new here to Naira land smiley
Thanks for posting your experience of ours great country in fact l am going this night with my two boys of 20 & 17 that has NEVER being to Nigeria they can not wait for their travelling to see how Nigeria looks like.
I hope they will have a lovely times down there if the electricity board will give us light most of the time.

CrimeRe: My House Was Burgled by Babs612000(m): 5:14am On Aug 01, 2016
mesoprogress:
Yesterday my house was burgled while in the church. On coming back from the church, I found out the gate was locked from inside which is unusual. We had to scale the fence. On entering the house, whole rooms were turned upside down. Laptops, tablets, jewelry and phones were stolen. They cut the protector in the kitchen and gained entrance.

I reported to police. I dare say we don't have police or security in Nigeria. They did zero investigation, asked me if I have anybody in mind, etc so that they can make arrests. If I asked them to arrest all the guys on that street, they would have done so! Of course, bail money go dey. I wanted them to do at least some investigation, which wasn't done. They asked me to get a photographer to take pictures of the scene!

What broke my heart was that these guys stole four external drives, kept in different places! All my data of eight years was lost. My latest hard drive 2T has information of the previous hard drives. I always back up my data in different drives. They took everything! Main one and all my back ups! It's really very painful. All my job projects, pictures (weddings, etc), etc lost.

I would gladly give these guys money to get my data back. Anyway, I leave them to God.
