Igbo's do not control Nigeria movie industry, neither does Yoruba's or any other tribes. Yoruba's even produce more home videos than the English movies. So Igbo's stop getting happs. But the two main players are the Yoruba's and the Igbo's in Nollywod.

I think its right to say Igbo's dominates the Nigerian English home videos but not Nollywood as a whole.

Does it really matter? I honestly don't see the differences between all tribes for Nija. Just want to get on with everyone without beefing. We are the new generation, while all these differences.

When making a life decision or just going about life in general, do you act according to what your parents would think of you? Or, do you value your opinion of yourself above theirs?

When going about life in general or making life decision, I value my parent's opinion more than mine or more than anything because i know they always want the best for me. They are my best friend. They are a mixture of old and new skool and I'm like that as well.

I do have a mind of my own but it's just too similar to my parent's, hence i tend to act as they would. When we do disagree on things, i give my resons and they give theirs (insight). Which ever one decide on i get their full backing.

What is Nollywood itself?
Isn't it all home made movies made in Nigeria or by a Nigerian Directors including the Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa movies are know as Nollywood. Can someone please tell me its not only English movies that are regarded as products of Nollywood.

@my2cents. From what I've read and heard, the Yoruba's have been in home movies, theater long before the Nigerian English movies evolved.

To me they are all known as Nollywood.

I thought all movies made in Nigeria are all called Nollywood (Yoruba, English, Igbo, Hausa). So whats this Nollywood thing been attributed only to the English home videos.

To me i see them all as a product of Nollywood.

@hucarson. I still dey wonder if you ever watch Henry or the premiership self. Even Van Nlisteroy (Hope i spell it right) is a better goal getter (striker) than those you mentioned above at his peak. And we all know Henry himself is way better than Nlisteroy.

How do you judge a good striker? Is it only by the goals they score, skills, techniques? What happen to assists?

The players you mentioned, let them all come to play in the premiership and lets see, how many goals they can score in a season? I doubt if they can score up to 20 a season. Though i prefer the La Liga to any other European leagues.

The French team will continue to suffer unless they build that team round Henry and not Zi-Zou.

@hucarson. What about the heart trick he scored against Milan or maybe Juve (forgot the name of the Italian club) in the champions league. Wasn't that a big game?. Against Madrid in the UEFA second round this year. To me he has done reasonably well in big matches.

Yes you can build a team round the likes of Henry even with the likes of Zi-Zou in the team. But Zidane is a better option because he delivers the killer ball, not that he's better.

The problem with the French team is that the French coaches including the present coach had failed to build the team round Theory Henry. Until they change this Henry will continue to fail them. They make the guy play as a center forward which is unlike him. He needs to be given a free role, like that of Arsenal.

Then again you can argue that, how come he failed in several important matches? Well go and watch the game against Real Madrid earlier this year, the only goal he scored against Man U 3 years ago among others.

@syrup. I think you need to read the bible passage you quoted to the end (Deu 18:15-20). From my understanding of the bible quote you stated and reading it to the end, i think God was just referring to any prophets he was going to raise up, examples was Samuel and Isiah among others

Well i do not know much of the old testament, if I'm wrong do correct me. We can also say Jesus do represent anything that is of God hence you are can be right call him a prophet.

I think the Ghanaians a quite good and they can qualify but they have to work on their two wingers. The strikers needs to start hitting the target.

The Ivorians played well, but i don't think they have enough quality to qualify for the next stage.

I follow tradition very much, and i change somethings i believe are irrelevant in tradition.

The main point is that children should not be paid in form of money for the things they do. When i said we never lacked anything it means we got pocket money everyweek more than enough. Which we saved

I am talking from experience, i started following my mum to work when i was 13 years old to help her and every weekends as well to help relieve her stress, while my brother stayed at home with my sisters. When i was 16 my mum forced me to go get a job just to make me know how to struggle to make money. In short i started working part time at Mc Donald's and every holiday i was on a full shift. Not that i needed money, infact i do not know what to do with my money at that time because i never lacked anything.

So my salary was always with my mum. The whole point of this is that she knew her duty as a mother to her kids and she never failed so has my dad.

I don't believe paying your kids inform of money. Their other ways of paying. You could suprise them with gifts, expensive gifts on their Bday, take them on holiday. Give them anything they desire as long as u feel its right but not money.

So, if i have no money to pay my kids for doing something they should refuse next time abi? To me its nonsense. Their are lots of ways to teach a child how struggle to make money. You could get them a job if you are in the UK,, take them to your work place to help you out and many more.

Why should i pay my kids before they could fetch water, wash the car and other things? We never got paid money for it and never expected to get paid. We saw it as our duty and was very happy doing it. Anything we asked for was done even beyond our expectations. So in a way we got paid for it but never in form of money.

Then again what would the child do with the money depending on what age unless he or she is in higher institution. Infact if i offer to pay them for chores they do, i expect them to refuse it from me or anyone else? That was how we were brought up and i thanked my grandma, parent and those involved in training us.

I can't pay my kids for the chores they do at home, since i will not fail in my duty to provide for their needs. If i am to give them rewards for what they've done, it will never be inform of money.

Their are other ways to encourage kids to know they have to work to get paid. My parent forced us to get jobs as soon as we were 16 not because they needed us to help with the bills at home but to exercise how to be hard working. Infact i never touched my salary back then, mummy took care of it and we never lacked in anything before.

My parents don't pay us, but hey never failed in providing for us when we ask or not and we are very much contented.

So, i would find it difficult to get in the system since i havent got enough effizi. I go just chill for my house.
