SportsRe: Ronaldinho Or Okocha: Who Is More Skillful? by babwilms(m): 4:34pm On May 23, 2006
@jackal. You dont get the whole point of what he did and the manner in which he did it. The question is can Dinho stop play after taking on a player, just waiting for him to come back to his sense. I don't think so. But Okocha did

No doubt Cristinado Ronaldo, or Dinho can lift a ball over a players head. But can they make a player turn round in form of a circle, eyes firmly gazed at the sky in search of the ball, while the ball has already been controlled in front of the player, the play has stopped, just waiting for this guy to realise the ball is not up their no more. Oh the guy suddenly realised the ball in front of him, Okocha took him on again as if what he just did to him wasn't enough.

This guy that just got dribbled shaked his head in disbelief at what Okocha just did. Dinho can only dream of such scenerio.
SportsRe: Ronaldinho Or Okocha: Who Is More Skillful? by babwilms(m): 12:39pm On May 23, 2006
@amodu. I beg tell them ohhhhhhh. Okocha is no doubt more skillful than Dinho. He's got bare tricks, you dont know what is going to do next with the ball. Dinhoo however you can tell what is going to do next, mostly step overs and because he's fast while doing that most defenders find it hard to stop him.

I remebered once, okocha lifted the ball over a palyer's head and the guy stood their staring at the sky, turned round on the same spot in search of the ball, while okocha has already controlled the ball, under his feet, waited for this guy to realise what has just happenned to him before he carried on playing. It takes someone special to do this during a crucial match.
TravelRe: Share Your European Living Experience by babwilms(m): 1:42pm On May 22, 2006
I would advice you to come to London. Why? Because you will fell like you are in Lagos, lots of Nigerians and enough Nigerian parties every weekend. Jobs are also available, but Nigerians are now migrating to Manchester(3 rd largest city in England) because their are more jobs available their than london, rent is quiet low, plenty to do in manchester (well thats where i study). Racism is low compare to Paris and other cities i've lived in.

Paris is also very lively, its challenging though because of the language, so i would advice you to do few months french language course before going. Lots of Africans, Senegalese, ivorians, camerounians, algerians, tunisians and many more, but Nigerians are not as much as the nationalities lisited above.

Well i'm currently in France on my placement year before going back to the UK, but not in Paris.

I believe London is much better to live in coz you will feel at home.

Christianity EtcRe: What Book Of The Bible You Love Most? by babwilms(m): 1:00pm On May 20, 2006
I love the book of Ecclesiates. I love it because it's focus is mainly on how this world should be viewed by each individual. Basics needed to live a good life and its perspective about life.

Don't know if i explian my self very well. But their is something about that book that makes me want to read it whenever i'm down, just to get me back on track.
Christianity EtcRe: Christianity: A Religion Or A 'Way Of Life'? by babwilms(m): 10:45am On May 20, 2006
@4get_me. I have already answered the question you asked.

Christianity is basically having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Which comes from immitating his ways, the way he lived his life, his teachings and many more.

PoliticsRe: Why Are Nigerians Negative About Nigeria? by babwilms(m): 11:51pm On May 19, 2006
I thought i was the only one who noticed it. Mostly all Nigerians i know have a negative view about our country. I do understand why but it doesn't mean we should not have a positive views of Nigeria. I mean, you see some of our students here in UK and they have no plans of ever going back to Nigeria. Why? Even my brother is part of those people who sees nothing good in Nigeria.

If we do not have positive views about Nigeria, how then will other countries see anything good in us?

SportsRe: Ronaldinho Or Okocha: Who Is More Skillful? by babwilms(m): 8:33pm On May 18, 2006
@hucarson. What do you also think Okocha's mate will say about him as a kid growing up? They would say the same thing only if Nigeria was an organise country to do such documentary for okocha or even locate his friends back in the days on the street.

"Physically stronger than okocha"? I believe you should withdrawl that statement. Dinho is an apprentice from Okocha and will remain so for the next few years.

If Dinho was that talented like you stated? while was he not noticed during the under 21 fifa worldcup in Nigeria while shittu, haruna babaginda and pius ikedia all came out. Whereas Okocha has been recognised widely ever since he started playing ball.

Now you want to be comparing Abedi Pele to our own Jay Jay, aba they should never be compared because they are two different players one is a striker and the other is a midfielder.

Please give me examples of what Dinho can do that Okocha can't do better? At least three.

Fellow nairaland members be the judge to this.
SportsRe: Ronaldinho Or Okocha: Who Is More Skillful? by babwilms(m): 7:30pm On May 18, 2006
@pricila. Common now. Now you want to compare Henry's skills with Okocha's. Am i the only one here who thinks Okocha is the most skillfull palyer ever to kick the ball on the world stage?.

Henry is skillfull (Good ball control, speed among others) but still not on OkOCHA'S level. May be you can compare Henry's skills with Dennis Bergkamp or Franco Zola. I am an Arsenal fan by the way. Okocha forever.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Barcelona Fc Vs Arsenal Fc ( 2005/2006 Uefa Champions League Final) by babwilms(m): 4:42pm On May 18, 2006
I beg oooo leave henry alone. The guy tried now, he was chassing up and down. Also after he received the yellow card, we can't expect him to do more than he did yesterday though he should have buried the game long time ago.
RomanceRe: Crush Or Love? Him Or Me? by babwilms(m): 4:35pm On May 18, 2006
@fresheva. I also do believe your parents are the best person to ask about this. Trust me parent knows better. For example if i'm dating a girl i will make sure she is close to my mum, because i believe she knows better not that i haven't got a mind of my own. So ask your mum.
RomanceRe: Crush Or Love? Him Or Me? by babwilms(m): 4:07pm On May 18, 2006
@fresheva. Wait for other people to give their reply before deciding. I believe you should keep both of them closer to you and shine your eyes very well to know which one of them is good for you. Its a two way thing but don't get into a relationship with both at the same time.
RomanceRe: Virginity! by babwilms(m): 3:47pm On May 18, 2006
It's a pride. What else should it be? At least you know deep down inside you that you have fufilled one of God laws to abstain from it till you are married or better still if you choose to remain a virgin till you die.

spelling error people.

I meant "therefore i expect a single lady or single mother to know her duties because i know mine as a young man who tries to to live life according to the will of God"
FamilyRe: Nigerians And Teen Pregnancy by babwilms(m): 2:25pm On May 18, 2006
@2cantango. I am just explaing things i've heard from my friends who have experienced it. I am not in support of pre-martial sex. By the grace of God i will wait till i get married. Its not that i ain't interested in getting my groove on as well, but because i know what i want and to avoid complications such as the one we are discussing here.

Also don't you know it has become a normal thing in london to meet a girl in club, chat her up take her home and have sex on the same night. Even if the guy is not interested the girl will initiate it. She doesn't care. At least it has happenned to me on 3 occassion and many of my friends. That basically shows a a messed up society we live in.

Hope you understand where i am coming from, their fore i expect a single lady to know how duty because i know my a young man, who tries as much as possible to follow the will of God.
FamilyRe: Nigerians And Teen Pregnancy by babwilms(m): 2:02pm On May 18, 2006
@skidoc. Come to M2, baby ground in manchester. All clubs in london. I am not saying single parent should not enjoy their self because of the situation they are in, but they should not be doing it frequently. I mean you take a lady home after clubbin, only to get to her house and you are about to get ur groove and the kid woke up to interupt you.

Even if the mother have taken the baby to one of her friends or family house because she is going clubbin tonight. Don't you all agree that the kid would be esposed to somethings he or she shouldn't be exposed to e.g. drugs, smoking, bad company and many more without the knowledge of the mother. Whereas if she was doiing her duty well it wouldn't be the case.
SportsRe: Ronaldinho Or Okocha: Who Is More Skillful? by babwilms(m): 1:45pm On May 18, 2006
@christino. Tell them. Okocha is old enough to be their teacher.
FamilyRe: Nigerians And Teen Pregnancy by babwilms(m): 1:28pm On May 18, 2006
@skidoc, skinla and bolex. I do agree with you guys and to some extent with papermoon. Some single mothers are just dont know their priorities. Example, go to night clubs and see plenty of them their instead of looking after that kid before he or she grows up to rubb me in the future.

Also why have sex with someone you have no feelings for, someone who you know is not responsible?. Did i hear someone say its love? That na lust. That is one of the reasons why pre-martial sex is not advicable, it creates a lot of complications such as the one we are discussing here. Close your legs ladies and guys keep Uncle Jouhnny Kita Watson in your pants.

I have a cousin who got pregnant at the age of 18 to an inresponsible Nigerian guy, who took advantage of her, but she still managed to excel. Ask why? She took a year out instead of going to uni that year to study law, she then got her priorities right, she went back to uni to study that law and she found a man who accepted her with the kid. Now she is a Law graduate, married, now with two kids. Whereas you see the rest of the single mothers parading night clubs. Now i can get married to someone like my cousin because she knows what she is doing.

Yes Rap music do contribute to this issues along with the way the society has been structured and the goverment.

Yes we are breeding society of criminals if the issue of teenage pregnancy is not addressed effectively. Also most single mothers tries to justify what has happenned to them by some babaric statements.
FamilyRe: Nigerians And Teen Pregnancy by babwilms(m): 12:37pm On May 18, 2006
I would be worried to marry such woman and yes i am exposed. I could only marry her if she is wifey material but if she is not, no way. I mean you see some single mothers in Night clubs every now and then, when they are meant to be at home looking after that child, knowing what that child is up to. Most of them even go to some extent of sleeping around and they demand too much from a thsi new guy. Some still haven't learn from their mistakes.

I will only get married to a single mother if she's a wifey material.

@markesh. My post was directed to you not MARKESH
FamilyRe: Nigerians And Teen Pregnancy by babwilms(m): 11:29am On May 18, 2006
@markesh. But wouldn't you agree that 80% of kids born without a father figure in Europe and America are always out of control and it creates a society of criminals. You can conduct a survey on this and you would find out that most yobs and criminals on the street here in the western world have no father figures in their lifes, probably daddy or mummy is in jail, drug addict, alcholic, not responsible, divorced, hence the children are always the one to suffer for the consequences unless the mother or the father stands firm to take care of their responsibilities very well and pray that the kids turn out well.

Also the way the laws and society here has been structured does not help matter. Imagine not been able to discipline your child because of the fear you might get jailed for it or the kid might be taken a way from you to foster parents.

Example of this can be seen in the UK where by a 12 year old girl was pregnated by a 15 yeard old boy. The girl is not even a teenager yet. The mother said she was proud of her, she is a heavy smoker with no husband. Same thing is most likely to happen to the unborn child. Who do you blame for this scenerio?

Also here in Europe you see kids calling the cops on their parent? I beg it's messed up in this western world. I can't wait to return to Nigeria, and i pray Nigeria do not follow the western ways in dealing with issues with regards to dicipline.
