so cool:Could you rephrase your question please? |
@ so cool. I don't know any of the guys you mentioned. |
Do you know those i mentioned. Tayo Atoyebi, Gbenga Balogun. I left them all in 1995, they probably finished in 2001 or 2002. I would really appreciate if i can meet these guys again. |
I lived in Ibadan for 12 years before moving over to the UK. I stayed at Orita Challenge. I attended Richmab Nursery and Primary school in Mobil(Ring Road). From their i attended Loyola College IB, left when i was in JSS 2 in year 1995, April to be precise. I really missed my friends back then in Ibadan. I would really appreciate it, if anybody knows any of my friends back in Loyola days (Atleast their mail address). There names are: Tayo Atoyebi, Segun Balogun and Ayodele Makinde. I'm known as Tunde Raheem. |
@skidoc. Thanks. |
Skidoc:. Hope it works. |
Can someone please tell me how to take quotes? |
@skidoc. Firstly it has nothing to do with brainwashing. I do understand the angle in which you are approaching this topic, but you are not understanding mine. The fact still remains, that any church will not want to tanish their image be it a good or a bad church, hence the safety of people will be of importance. Then again it could be for selfish gains, but at least its taking students, robbers, thugs, undergraduates of the street. No i am not saying airlines of unbelivers are run by the devil. You are funny, how can you utter such statement? Now, what you are saying is that we should stop going to churches, stop paying our tithes because any church can not be trusted, they are all about money. Thats nonsense. At least this man is using the tiths to address the unemployment issue in the country, to put smile on the hopeless. Why are we even questioning or against a man of God who has a plans to reduce unemployment in our country? Then you here them start complaining about unemployment in the country, instead of embracing a plan layed out by someone to address the issue. We Nigerians are funny people. Why are most Nigerians against anything good (the ones i've met)? Why are we complaining?. The problem with most Nigeria is that we dont appreciate anything good as we should do. |
@skidoc. I'm sure you understand what the quote meant and if you don't here is the explanation. People will be safer in Aeroplanes run by a church in the sense that, the safety of the people boarding the plane comes first, test flight will be conducted, engines checked properly among other things for safe flights. Unlike the i dont care attitude of airline operators in Nigeria, who do not care about the safety of people, all they thinking of is monoe money and money. Example can be seen last year(three plane crashes). Then again proper inspection of the Aeroplanes still does not guarantee safe flight, but at least our mind will be at peace, knowing the airline is not run by sosilio, Nigerian Airways and co. Hope you get it now. |
What about: 1)Gladiator 2)Life of David Gale 3)Pay it Forward 4)Jakob the Liar 5)Braveheart All these movies has no happy endings. |
Yes it is a good thing in a way. One is a legend while the other one is on his way to become one. But the fear of Rooney becoming even greater is the question. This best describes Okocha and Dinho. |
@ToyM28. Alan shearer is a legend, the best striker ever to come out of England. He's deadly, destructive in front of goal, he's like our own Rashidi Yekini. But he had more sucess. Egbon Shearer, gbosa, gbosa, gbosa. |
The reason why Dinho would be mentined probably the greatest is because their is no good competition for him right now. I mean he plays among stars in Barca and Brazil. So what do we expect. But i will still have Henry any time anyday before him. Dribbles- jay jay is better Shooting- Jay Jay can shoot with both legs accurately and with more power Free kicks- Okocha is better. Dinho hardly gets it over the wall this days. Work Rate- Okocha is obviously better Long range passes- Jay Jay is better Well i've never seen Dinho and Okocha score with their heads. Why am i back on this thread? I guess i can't stand JJ been ridiculed. Peace |
Abomination, what are Beckham and Eto doing on this thread, mentioned in the same breath as Jay Jay. Are you sure you guys watch football at all? I am a fan of Jay JAY and Dinho but i believe Dinho need few more years to be compared with Jay in terms of skill. Have you forgotten we are comparing Jay Jay in his prime and Dinho in his prime right now. Abomination. Peace |
Did i here someone mention Beckham in the same breath as Okocha? This is RIDICULOUS. I'm not replying anymore. I've been insulted. Some people here are forgetting Okocha of early 90's. They are comparing after millenium Okocha to 2002-2006 Dinho. I doubt if Dinho wouldn't have retired if he had faced the Italians of the 90's because one of his legs would have been amputated by now. But Okocha did and still playing till today. I'm out before it gets too personal. |
Now i understand what you mean. However below are the qualities i know Okocha is better than Dinho just to mention few. 1) Okocha is more creative, as in he can do the unexpected 2) Better Dribbler. Jaw breaking touches. 3) Both footed. He uses them more than Dinho. He can shoot perfectly with both. 4) Okocha has good long range passes. 5) Box to Box type of midfielder 6) Unpredictable unlike Dinho(step overs always) With Okocha, their is always something new to learn. Dinho better not try them because he might break a toe or more.lol |
What skill are we talking about here? Is it skill as in who is a better dribbler or skill as in dictionary definition (Shooting, control, passing, goal sense and many more). |
@hucarson. I am not comparing other leagues here or didn't you read the context in which i was explaining. Also what difference does it make, i could also say go ask the the Germans, English and French that follow bundesliga, premiership and ligue 1 respectively the legacy Okocha has left in this countries. The whole point of my arguement is that Okocha's has left unforgetable memories in this countries with his breath taking skills which Ronaldinho is yet to make. I doubt if Dinho can make impacts in less establish teams like Jay Jay has done. Do you even watch Okocha play self? I bet you dont. Too carried away watching Barca. |
Those in support of Dinho. Did you even watch or know Okocha during his early days as a footballer (93-98)? Or you only started watching okocha when he stopped dribbling much? Go to Turkey and asked the fans even a blind man, they will tell you say okocha na father of skills. He stopped dribbling like before after he was made captain of the super eagles but still Dinho still can't match him. |
Listen guys, i had the oppourtunity to watch Okoch play for Bolton reserves. I'll tell you this guy has got some mad tricks and crazy touch. It was just a match for him to get back to fitness. During the match, 11 a side match, he received a through ball, one and one with the goal keeper. If you see what okocha did to the goal keeper we would not even be argueing about who is more skill full. One and one with the goal keeper, ohhhh is going to shoot, no, he held is shooting leg behind him with is hand while the goal keeper dived the wrong way and jay jay just walked straight in to the net. Now tell me, it takes someone special to do that. Dinho will never in his life do that unless he wants to die. |
What about Elephant man? |
@seun. First why would you want to talk to or treat your woman the way you stated as a sensible man. Believe it or not, until this unmarried successful or unsuccesful women fail to address their inner issues, they will stay unmarried or fail to get a responsible man. I'm not denying the fact that some men do not have their own issues as well. Some men don't treat their women right. I've seen succesfull women raising their hand to hit their husband to be, because of a slight misunderstanding. Now tell me as a man wouldn't you run for your life. |
All you've said are all possibilities. Mind you: 1) Some of them has no manners 2) They've got issues 3) No home training 4) Arrogant, not humble 5) Some of them might have dated a guy who was suppose to be their husband as a boyfriend. Thats messed up. 5) Some are too westernized, no submission, 50-50 idea and many more. In my opinion, any reasonable man will run away from any lady be it successful or unsuccesful with the problems listed above |
Hi everyone. What does a first class or 2"1 grade in the UK for an Aeronautical Engineering undergraduate degree represent in terms of GRE or GMAT in the States. Asking because i'm thinking of doing my masters in USA. Would i be able to get eligible for free education is i make does grades. I would also like to know what is the process of becoming a chartered Engineer in the State. |
My parents and siblings comes first no doubt. Its not even a question. I expect her parents and siblings should come first to her before me. However when we do get married she becomes priority, while i start to let go of my parents and siblings. |
I love cooking, name any yoruba dishes i will cook it for you. Delicious. I love taking care of kids e.g change their dippers, make food for them. I like cleaning up too, but that is when i'm in the mood. However i hate touching anything to do with electronics. |
All Super Eagles fans, i would like to know your dream super eagles line up and formation along with 7 substitutes that you think can take on the best in the world between 1992-2006. Hope this topic hasn't been brought up before? |
I don't know why. I'm guilty of this as well. I see it as a commitment and i just can't commit myself emotionally to anyone right now, too costly for me if the lady don't feel the same as well. But i honestly want to commit myself to someone. HELP NEEDED |
I don't think their are too many arabs. Infact they are not arabs, they are indians, pakistans, bangledesh you are calling arabs. People often get the missed together. I think you should be saying too much Nigerians in London. But i still believe UK is still the best place to be, the degree is well recognised all over the world compare to the USA. The health system is good. The only thing i hate about the UK is the struggle to get on the property ladder and the cost of living. |
AMEN and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ continue to be with her kids. |
@hotangel. I assure you, you will fall in love with Royal Place, hope you have enough time to finish watching it at once because watching movies at different time makes one to loose interest. |
I've seen it before but it's not a match for "Royal Palace 1,2,3" and "All My Life 1,2,3". This two movies in my point of view are the best Nigerian English Movies ever produced. You can check them out on Onlinenigeria.com. |
