TheLionofLasigi:I'm not Igbo and I'd like to think that I'm a detribalised Nigerian. I only speak English too..if that means anything. "You don't deserve something if you're not strong and smart enough to take it." Would you say our governors and senators "deserve" to launder our commonwealth because they have strong cabals and they're smart enough to find the loopholes in the constitution to lie and betray our trust? In a sense, would you say you're blaming the weak for being weak. Are you blaming the Igbos for being weak? Note that I'm asking these questions from a neutral standpoint. I'm just trying to stay informed. |
Kobojunkie:You're talking to a brick wall. Nigerians are very insensitive. It doesn't concern them because it's not happening to them. |
TheLionofLasigi:I see. As cowardly as he is, the irony is, he's one of the most courageous, popular persons from the East. He's very blunt whenever he speaks about secession but never tactful like you said. The pieces are coming together now. The leaders in the East and Middlebelt are comfortable with the way their people live because they have their own palaces and kingdoms in the middle of the slum. All Nigerians are the same after all. My question is, if a prominent leader or a group of Igbo/Middlebelt leaders come together and propose they want to push for secession, do you think Nigeria will let them then? |
TheLionofLasigi:You seem to know a lot about politics. There's one thing I've always wondered and I couldn't really get profound answers. Why does Nigeria not want to give the Igbos their out? Why is one Nigeria so important? It's not like it's a very efficient amalgamation... could it be because of the oil? |
afroxyz:I'm not a fan of Nnamdi Kanu but just listen to yourself. What do you know about revolutionaries? What do you know about the struggle? Have you ever truly agitated against the wrongs of our government like you should? Sticking it to them consistently? Doing so even through social media takes a lot of balls. Nigerians always want the easy way out. You type whatever behind your keyboard in your comfort zone because it's easy. |
vickricky:Reminds me of our president |
Ooni:This man has very strong hate for Yoruba people and it's understandable because the concentration camp called Nigeria has messed us all up one way or another. We are not the same people. |

What is Jelani and Jalil |
What of your own dirty past of being a Nigerian?? |
Gbest90:Yeah I know...lol thanks. I was just trying to help him realize that his energy is very negative. |
complexBoss12:Very cunning black thing. Typical insensitive Nigerian. You'll do fantastic in Nigeria's current political environment. You messed up but you'll say anything to make your nonsense make sense. Very caveman-ish. You don't understand my ideas. And then I even gave you opportunity to give your own idea, you shunned me. If you think useful perspective is utterly shunning something you don't understand, then you have confirmed my assertions. I wish you love, Mr Complex. |
complexBoss12:Some Nigerians will never grow. Instead of concentrating on what I'm doing, why not focus on yourself and find your own thing? In my leisure, I run a football page on IG that has thousands of followers and a lot of Europeans appreciate and interact with my contents and I welcome every one's perspective. It's football man.. The real question is why are you so bent on ruining what you don't understand in 2021? Are you a caveman? Better don't channel this energy on your kids. |
complexBoss12:I find it fun discussing football tactics every now and then. Even though I'm not a coach or professional pundit, there are always people who need these kind of information. There are people that do music or art just for the fun of it and there are those making money from it. Considering how Nairaland use to be rich in intellectuals, it is surprising the growing amount of clowns on Nairaland who would say anything to buttress an invalid point. You should have stopped at your first quote. You don't know it yet but you're most likely to kill your childrens' dreams and they'll hate you for it. |
complexBoss12:Haha. Just having fun in this world I found myself o. If you have your own opinion on tactics let's hear it. I have the feeling that you don't. |
Angelfrost:I disagree. Madrid is miles ahead. They just need to take a little more risky passes and get comfortable. |
theoneJabulani:It's not special but it's a safe haven. Only that Tuchel didn't take it as a safe haven but a war machine formation. |
BurntDodo:Thank you! |
Gbest90:Thank You! I just checked Zizou's formation and it's 3-5-2 like I advised . My assertions were correct! I see Madrid winning 4-2You might be correct that it will be boring because it's going to be end to end football with a lot of loose long passes. It is a battle of what team has the best passers and fastest players. |
Very interesting fixture. The 3-4-1-2 formation adopted by Tuchel is a solid shape. Even in high tempo, it balances out defensive and attacking power using pace and stamina. Fortunately for Chelsea, they have pace and stamina in abundance and the players have adapted to the shape quickly. Using a back 3 is the rave now. You see Barcelona adopting similar shape in 3-5-2, Leicester of recent adopting 3-4-1-2 as well and many other teams. It allows the back 3 become a back 5 in seconds. I have thought and thought and I concluded that the only way to beat this particular Tuchel formation is to play 3-4-3 matching their intensity and pace through counter (long balls) before the back 3 becomes 5. Even if the team isn't using a 3-4-3, what's most important is the pace and counter attacking through long balls to beat that back 3. Tuchel's Chelsea is yet to play a team like Madrid that plays proper long balls to beat defensive lines so I'm really interested in this match. Full Time Prediction -- Madrid 3 - 3 Chelsea MODIFIED HOLY SHIT. Just like I advised teams to play 3-4-3/3-5-2 inorder to win Chelsea, Zidane literally adapted it. My assertions were correct!

uniquetechng:Our very own LB Andrew Robertson played for Dundee United a relegation team in Scotland, QPR in championship and HullCity in championship and wasn't even a regular starter at Hull. Andy in spite of his portfolio was still given play time immediately he joined Liverpool even flopping during the first few games. Mind you that Moreno was there and squad was fully fit. Now we have injured players and Davies still cannot get playtime. Make it make sense..or don't cause I know you'll say anything ![]() The one you said about nationality, if Robertson or Kabak was English like Ben Davies playing for Dundee United or Schalke you can agree with me he'll not be called just like Nat Philips wasn't called. You're just doing like Mane. Breathing heavy without anything to show lol I am tired of lecturing you. If this is what you want to hear *Sigh...I respect your opinion lol You can stop quoting me now. And lastly, muhahahahahabeg He said Messi and Ozan Kabak are in the same talent group. |
uniquetechng:Your last paragraph sums up the entirety of your football knowledge. I keep telling you you're contradicting yourself. No club has paid for Nat Philips as well doesn't make him less of a football player. No club has paid transfer fee for Chupo Moting doesn't make him less of a footballer. You still have a lot to learn but I hope you have taken one or two from me. Klopp is not a god. He too can make mistakes and he just needs to learn from his mistakes. |
uniquetechng: I see you didn't take my advice fully but I like the part where you googled Ox's Arsenal stats.Gini Wijnaldum is lucky to see shirt because of injuries and you know it and where did you get the information that he missed only one match If Henderson comes back today, Wijnaldum is immediately going to the bench. Note that I'm not disregarding his abilities but I'm saying in games where opposition are sitting back which is most games these days, we need Keita ahead of Wijnaldum. Don't forget Keita is 26 and Wijnaldum is 31.Once again, contradicting yourself. Are you not seeing that you are? I told you not to make up silly scenarios and assumptions to buttress your point. You haven't seen Ben Davies play beside Fabinho. That's all you need to know. Stop concluding like that, it's childish. Plenty of game what? You're tripping. I now see you're trolling ![]() As a CM, 8 premier league games or so starting 1 or 2. Even Messi couldn't do shit with that amount of game time. You do realize Mane and Jota have the same amount of premier league goals where Jota played just 9 games (came of the bench in 4 or 5 of them) Mane played about 30 games. Mane is the weakest link in our attack right now and it's not up for debate. Klopp loves the front 3 and I do too but he needs to realize that they're done. Especially Mane. He's done. Towards the end of last season, his decline has been evident. |
uniquetechng:The Ben Davies point is already settled as you've contradicted yourself twice. Nat Philips played only 19 games for Stuttgart starting only 3 or 4 times. The rest of his career is total amateur U23 football at Liverpool(U23) while Ben Davies on the other hand was an important player for Preston starting almost all games. Saying one person is an amateur and another isn't is not the case anymore. It's an issue of who is Klopp's favorite? How can Ben Davies not even come in 85 mins to even get 5 mins of game time? Haba! I said Keita should be starting ahead of Gini not Thiago. And how can he find his rhythm when he's not getting minutes....how can any of the players on the bench? I would risk Ben Davies long time ago like Klopp risked Kabak and Nat which surprisingly has been a better match up than with Fabinho in my opinion. I believe the more defenders play together, the more chemistry they develop. Yes, Jota had just one bad game in like 8 good games after coming back from an injury. Have at him! Lol You could even see on Jota's face how badly he wanted to do better. I'm not kidding MANE IS FINE WITH THE WAY HE'S PERFORMING!! Take my advice. Don't just say anything inorder to buttress your point, you should rationalize it first. |
Na you go still play same players next fixtures like say nothing happen today. |
MrMacinterchi1: na joke but Klopp has fallen off though. Don't forget he lost 7-2 to Villa with full squad which can happen to anybody but how about we ask Klopp to make stern decisions to put the forwards on their toes? Mane looks like he's having fun missing sitters. |
uniquetechng:I refuse to follow the narrative that Keita is bad or anything like that . Even with Jesus Christ playing Madrid would still win Liverpool with that tactics. Keita was only scapegoat. Later on, Wijnaldum too became scapegoat. How many players do you want to blame? The issue with people like you is you don't want to believe you can think for yourselves. You have made the front 3 so comfortable. At a point, Jota was doing well than Mane and Mane was still starting. Jota would then come in second half to save their ass with a goal. This happened many times. Where did I say Nat Philips is fit? What's wrong with you? Because Kabak had premier league minutes before joining Liverpool? Kabak's couple of games before joining Liverpool was 7-0 defeat and look at him now.. decent. The fact that you've never watched Davies play for Liverpool, means you shouldn't judge him. Kabak's game against Leicester should have written him off but that's not how football works. You can actually learn and adapt. And why are you acting like the man just walked through the doors and picked up a shirt... Liverpool BOUGHT him on purpose. Lol It's not even about the defenders. It's imperative that Fabinho goes back into CDM! We need that. |
openmine:Well assessed and I respect your opinion. I don't believe Shaq gives the ball away as often as Mane does. Shaq has the technique that Mane can only dream of. Another issue is consistency. You have already concluded that Chamberlain and Shaq are bad and unable to perform but how many games did they start? Did Klopp configure the tactics to their advantage? We have seen Mane play below average every single game for almost 3 months that to me is enough reason try some other players. Origi didn't even do up to this and y'all are bashing him. Chamberlain use to do fine attacking from the flanks at Arsenal and when he first joined Liverpool. You're reaching at this point. Give the man a chance damn! Lol. You have never seen Davies play at Liverpool and you conclude he's not ready. You're definitely doing too much to downplay the facts. Fabinho should never be in CB. "Nat simply stepped up his game when he was given the opportunity" You're contradicting yourself. Nat is younger, didn't play as much games as Davies before Liverpool and Davies could also "step up his game" and Davies didn't just walk through the doors and picked up a shirt, Liverpool BOUGHT him. Are you a coach? I doubt that because you can't identify potential. Lmao you're trolling. Nobody except you agrees his subs are sensible. Every Liverpool fan knows that's his greatest weakness. Although, I take back what I said about wanting Klopp to get sacked lol I was only furious but I still think he needs to work on his decision making and flexibility. |
Gbest90:I agree BUT we know the players we have. They're wasteful. Especially when all 4 forwards play together, they go crazy. Just because Salah scores 20 a season doesn't mean he didn't miss plenty seaters. Mane and Firmino too. My problem is Klopp saw them falling off especially Mane and allow them play all 90mins game in game out. Shaq/Chamberlain would do better than Mane. At least they would have one shot that opportunity instead of going around the keeper like Mane did. I'm just so disappointed, man. I don't want Virgil playing Europa. |
Gbest90:Lol Gbest, I agree that the forwards are not clinical but they've always been like this. Mane and Salah are not great finishers. BUT this season, they've been terrible especially Mane. BUT Klopp saw them, saw his other fit options and played the wasters. Klopp has always had issues with decision making but this one today was absolute bogus. Favoritism and Rigidity of the highest order. Thiago was the player in the squad actually doing perfectly well and just 1-0 up, over 30mins left to play, no champions league, no fa cup, Klopp takes off Thiago who wasn't fatigued at all. Unbelievable. It's funny because it's the attack that's obviously having problems and you're taking off a midfielder...where's the logic?? That's that underdog mentality. Afraid to dominate all 90mins. Klopp is always so caught in his own emotions that he doesn't do the needfuls. The fact that we even had one more substitution and we didn't use it to slow down the tempo/waste time that last minute drives my point home. He needs to do better! |
