❌❌ NOTICE❌❌ It has always been a trend to use Nigerians as stepping stones. At his initial stage of rage, this Odumodu guy sided with the poor people of Nigeria, and we accepted and raised him to an iconic status, sort of gave him a platform to represent us and in just a few months, he's already switched to the side of the oppressor he was raging at, via the platform we gave him! Not only is this a trend in entertainment, it's also a trend in politics, finance, even in your neighbourhood. During poverty, you're angry at your oppressor, the most angriest and passionate of the poor we elevate them to iconic statuses, when it's time to represent us, small bribe or difficult moment, those icons switch to the sides of the oppressor because all along, you weren't really angry at the oppressor, you just hated that you were not them! It takes a lot to break from that spirit of oppression. That's why till today, FELA is one of the greatest icons out of Africa because he never switched sides, heck he was actually an elite and switched to our side, the side of the people! This is why we must keep the spirit of Fela going through MOP. All of us, the poor people and professionals of Nigeria must join hands and TOGETHER overwhelm this system of oppression to create a new society that's fair and equal for all. No such thing as a Messiah. Join and engage with MOP on social media today. Be part of the movement, join meetings, give your ideas, just don't wake up one morning and vote. 1 Share

Poor thing Nigeria is in the final stage of doing away with social values where you can depend on community for small food and even for companionship. Even in the villages, they are becoming individualistic since they now have electricity and phones. Nigeria is absorbing all the spill overs of Industrialisation, Imperialism and Capitalism; impoverishing the masses and pushing them to the extreme end, crimogenic environments, phone addiction, drug abuse, environmental waste and more diseases etc I dare say Nigeria practices the harshest form of Capitalism/Industrialisation because our elites don't even provide a sort of insurance or warning after or before accidents happen. Dangote truck fit crush anybody alafia! Social media fit turn your kid to a socially awkward child, alafia! No price control on food etc. Whereas foreign countries spend billions to soft cushion the effects of Capitalism. We the poor masses and professionals of Nigeria need to organise ourselves and finally decide what we want our country to be like. What values we'd like to keep from our history and what we'd like to adopt from overseas. Join MOP on social media, let's take back our nation! 16 Likes 5 Shares

Crime / Re: 70% of Financial Crimes in Nigeria Linked to Banks – EFCC by Babysho(m): 8:09am On Mar 08 |
EFCC won piss inside our elites pot of soup. They want to bite the hands that feeds them. We already know our ELITE OLD HEADS, the military generals, navy ogas at the top, CBN governors, our ex and current governors, senators, presidents and Chairpersons of Banks who don't have a clue about cryptocurrency use the banks to siphon money within, into and out of Nigeria. I suspect even the EFCC was set up by a group of the elites who felt they weren't getting enough share of the cake so they used it as a tool of witch-hunt and we all know oga and oga go always jam, so now EFCC is just tossed left to right like a tennis ball. EFCC coming out to say this is them begging a force higher than them and the political and business elites to help them arrest their owners 😂😂 The EFCC already knows who and who dey run am but they can NEVER call names. The brutal truth is that nobody is gonna help Nigeria not even Interpol because as long as Capitalism rules the world, corruption will always rule the world. Only the people can unite and stand up against the elites. Join MOP on IG and let's take back our country!

So none of our Capitalists have been moved to go into phone production when the raw materials are available from our neighbouring African countries. That's the part I don't get about Nigerian Capitalist, they have the capital, Nigerian youths have the brains and Nigeria is a market waiting for them but they'd still rather go into real estate, salt, bottle water, alcohol, oil etc things that if they're not there another person will do, things that are hinged on survival. |

richeeyo: Make I help that guy answer you. Binance is just the scapegoat. There are dozens of other p2ps in these "top 10 world biggest economies" still operating and their economies still dwindling, USA and UK are good examples. They are still experiencing an inflation there. Ultimately, I think it's just a symptom of capitalism. It's never enough to go round so people will usually find their own way to attack the system to survive. 1 Like |

richeeyo: 😂😂 first of all, this neo-colonialist govt is never fighting for your interest. How can a govt that removed subsidy from petroleum products fight for you? What they literally did is begin to take money from you and straight into their pockets because where are the dividends of the subsidy removal? Didn't you hear SAN Falana break down how your govt is spending the derived money anyhow on Channels News? Binance and Aboki Bureau effect on our economy is nothing compared to the effects of decades of bank laundering, corruption, backwards fiscal policies, redundancy of industries, over reliance on dollar and pounds, the growing gap between other countries and Nigeria in technology and the lack of engagement of the youths with the economy. |

I leave it to grow anyhow now make barber deal with am. All of the foods I eat are natural and they're not as inflated as imported/canned/plastics items. Although, still a struggle, the fruits are getting too expensive and are of low quality like the oranges. You go almost break your hand to squeeze orange for a drop of vitamin C. The silver lining is that this inflation is forcing people to eat better. These shiitts we buy in plastic and cans are bad for us. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Broveens42: Lmao our political elites go dey smile at this crazy propaganda and distraction media. How can that be the problem of Nigeria? Said "Oil and water" mix in our government to SUCCESSFULLY launder BILLIONS but poor and rich don't mix to launder billionaires. That should be your focus, CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS. The problem of Nigeria is lack of organisation of the poor/middle class. Chinedu, Musa, Tobi are all struggling like you and I, to think it's another suffering human that's the cause of your problem is caveman-like. Our common enemies are the political elites who play politics on an uneven playing ground, they organise and do years of planning how to turn us against each other through misinformation. The other enemy is the business elite who usually funds the political elites and works hand in hand with political elites to sell us goods and services that we can't afford. Your next elitist president has already started planning but you don't have a political party yet. Religious elites too who usually fall under business elites. We poor/middle class must begin to organise and plan from today! Join the MOP centre. At the center of the centre is political education for all. Follow on Instagram.

Krankhead: I understand what you’re saying, I’m also very ‘pro-agric' but don't you think you're being a little insensitive seeing that you're not living in Nigeria. (1) Nigerians have to buy many day to day items eg fuel to move about which is imported with dollars, cooking gas is imported with dollars, maintenance like oil for your vehicles and other items are imported hence dollar dollar dollar. (2) If you're into farming as a business and you don't want to be making inconsist harvest, you MUST use some techniques for your farming like fertilisers that are imported in dollars, local ones are also inflated (Demand n supply). What about your poultry? You don't feed them? price of feed go make u shout dollar dollar. If you buy protein outside, you sef go open your mouth shout dollar dollar dollar 😂😂 There's no two ways to go about it, the government will ALWAYS determine the quality of our lives. If you see a person doing well in Nigeria, he's helping the govt be frivolous or he's govt gan gan. |

GanagiBitrus: It'll go down only when our govt subsidises goods and services or we meet the prices by increasing minimum wage. Nigeria is a CAPITALIST country, prices of things in need can NEVER go down on its own. No Capitalist like Dangote who likes maximum profit will ever reduce price of salt because you're going through rough time lol Knowing Nigerian govt, they'll never do anything. We'd have to either wait for competition or everybody just somehow gets use to working like slaves. 2 Likes |

Krankhead: Why are you acting like the Nigerian govt has done anything to make farming easy. Whatever you buy for your farming, feed, manure, pesticides, all have also been inflated since most are imported and locally ones inflated as well due to forces of demand and supply. Eventually, you too would have to sell your produce inflated but no forget say you no dey sell kerosine or gas for cooking o Mr Farmer, hope you're home owner too, clean water now na 50 naira for one sachet o. You think say farmers dey enjoy? There's nobody that's living a modest life that's not feeling the heat(no pun intended). Business / Re: The End Of Naira, NGN, On Binance by Babysho(m): 3:29pm On Mar 05 |
israelmao: You don sum up what I've been all over here trying to explain 😂😂. Someone said he noticed naira stabilised since Naija govt held on to Binance. I said it's because the youths have not engaged again with the naira. Once they find another way, it'll go back to its steady devaluation. The youths play a huge role in what the value of a country becomes. If the political elders dedicate their administration to helping the youths become the best version of themselves by firstly reducing the pressure of surviving by subsidising almost everything, secondly reducing the cost of govt(we need all the money we can get + it's just like father sacrificing for the children), lastly increasing minimum wage reasonably and then investing in the economy, firstly AGRICULTURE, construction, healthcare, tech etc If the naira no gbera in 5 years, come arrest me. But if you take their livelihood, put pressure on them and don't help them engage with the economy, other countries with platform for youths will engage them for their own economy and compete against the naira, that's one thing that devalues the naira. Even forget Binance, when one quality Nigerian doctor japa to work in Canada, he strengthens their healthcare (2 doctors to 1 patient) and do you know what it'll cost even the Nigerian politicians to travel for treatment in Canada, visa, tax, hosp bills, etc he's also strengthening Canada's economy. He too should be banned like Binance lol 1 Like |

AfroBeatDiary: It's a very bad attempt actually. It's not even an attempt on anything, it's just like how Nigerian govt use EFCC to pursue youths saying they're giving the country bad names while the same govt steal billions from the treasury and buy jets, houses in Paris and Amsterdam and eventually makes it to BBC but na unknown youths with Lexus dey give us bad name 😂😂 The original causes of inflation/devaluation of the naira are the fiscal policies from past administrations, oil theft, corruption, unconducive business environment which led to businesses leaving, lack of electricity for SMB, total reliance on the dollar, the growing gap in industry and tech between USA and Nigeria. The past administrations have just been hanging on my a thread then Tinubu through floating naira finally released the last strap to reveal the true position of Nigeria. |
Business / Re: The End Of Naira, NGN, On Binance by Babysho(m): 3:03pm On Mar 05 |
Faiththatworks: Very spot on, but I still believe that whatever is going on in Binance is nothing compared to the damage corruption, total reliance on the dollar and oil theft is causing to the naira. True, a chunk of the trades in Binance might be from these illegal means from the youths and it's all because we're yet to address the root cause which is that THE YOUTHS HAVE BEEN NEGLECTED. Even if they ban crypto, the youths can immediately venture into another thing maybe NFTs or sum even more destabilising for the naira than Binance but even these old heads in govt don't understand how to take the good out of the bad, turn things around. The govt keeps banning and removing subsidy on the things that don't really affect them acting like they're finally ready to work, finally ready to cut costs on govt, finally ready to give jail time for thieves in govt, finally ready to increase minimum wage but they never do! The more they press down on the necks and then neglect youths, the more the youths become rebels of the system. |
Business / Re: The End Of Naira, NGN, On Binance by Babysho(m): 2:47pm On Mar 05 |
yang: It is true that Nigerians trading on Binance is devaluing the naira but this is the what some citizens are using to survive. Nigerian govt acting like they're finally ready to get to work on the country but it's lies, they're only taking away the one that doesn't truly affect them. That's how they removed subsidy on petroleum products but they same govt are still stealing the oil from the back. Ban Binance but the same govt is still using the banks to steal money. If Nigerian govt serious about the naira, bank CEOs will be in jail as we speak. |

Whatever exchange rate Binance sets can never have any true effect on the economy because it is not a legal tender. We don't buy or sell our goods in crypto. We don't sell our oil through Binance so why would they even go there? 😂😂and if leaders are stealing through Binance, is it Binance you'll hold or the thieves? All these recent gimmicks by this adminstration, pursuing aboki that exchange naira, blocking Binance etc it's just games and distractions, they have no real effect on the economy. Floating the naira is like when a lady takes off her bra after a long day, everything lets loose. What we're witnessing is all the long-coming effects of the stealing of oil by the owners themselves, importation of white made products, importation of foods that we should be producing even toothpicks, corruption, youths not engaging with the economy, unconducive business environment, companies folding up from lack of electricity, and all the meaningless fiscal policies over the past 2-3 decades. Politics / Re: "Let Nations Die That Humanity May Live": Soyinka Advocates Decentralisation by Babysho(m): 6:50pm On Feb 29 |
Wole Soyinka has a right to his opinion but I strongly disagree with him. I don't even think he thought this through. The problem is not an ethnic issue, it's a leadership issue! Nigeria is not the only country with different languages, yet those countries are doing fine so why not us? The entire Europe speaks different languages but use the same currency and open their borders. What is most important is Unity Of Purpose - which is that we all want to thrive. In fact if anything, African countries should start opening its borders to neighbours not creating more borders. Everything Nigerian elites do these days is just move our attention from the required element - REVOLUTION. The people must take power back, and then we all decide what we want our new constitution to be. When we start to implement pro-nigerian policies, we'll quickly find that our real enemy is the west not Chinedu Wale or Musa and together again, we'll decide how to deal with these white monsters. If food is cheap everywhere in Nigeria, the trains pass through every state and there's a sense of equality in amongst all states, I doubt anybody would be worried about ethnicity or religion. I envision a Nigeria where you select your state to live in accordance to how you like to live. If you love business Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Delta, Kano, Ogun, Enugu, Abuja is your spot and you make the move not out of hunger but out of love for business and each state is just as good as the other. Create billionaires richer than Elon Musk. You want to just be adventurous and experience life? Perhaps Jos, Cross River, Osun, Taraba? The tourism potential in these states are just waiting! You want to live closer to nature and greenery like the Japanese and their rural farmside with scenic views? Ogun State? Kaduna? Benue? (This is where you'll find me). All at low cost of living. Where moving around Nigeria is easy. Relocating to other states is like beans. Each state so unique and pleasant to the eyes fully keying into their unique natural resources. To create a Nigeria where it's so merged and so intertwined that cultures mix and this can only happen when we're thriving economically and politically. This dream can begin if you follow a pro-nigerian/pro-african political party by the people @mopcentre on Instagram and Twitter. Let us begin the journey of greatness for Africa.
