❌❌ NOTICE❌❌

It has always been a trend to use Nigerians as stepping stones. At his initial stage of rage, this Odumodu guy sided with the poor people of Nigeria, and we accepted and raised him to an iconic status, sort of gave him a platform to represent us and in just a few months, he's already switched to the side of the oppressor he was raging at, via the platform we gave him!

Not only is this a trend in entertainment, it's also a trend in politics, finance, even in your neighbourhood. During poverty, you're angry at your oppressor, the most angriest and passionate of the poor we elevate them to iconic statuses, when it's time to represent us, small bribe or difficult moment, those icons switch to the sides of the oppressor because all along, you weren't really angry at the oppressor, you just hated that you were not them!

It takes a lot to break from that spirit of oppression. That's why till today, FELA is one of the greatest icons out of Africa because he never switched sides, heck he was actually an elite and switched to our side, the side of the people!

This is why we must keep the spirit of Fela going through MOP. All of us, the poor people and professionals of Nigeria must join hands and TOGETHER overwhelm this system of oppression to create a new society that's fair and equal for all. No such thing as a Messiah. Join and engage with MOP on social media today. Be part of the movement, join meetings, give your ideas, just don't wake up one morning and vote.

Poor thing

Nigeria is in the final stage of doing away with social values where you can depend on community for small food and even for companionship. Even in the villages, they are becoming individualistic since they now have electricity and phones.

Nigeria is absorbing all the spill overs of Industrialisation, Imperialism and Capitalism; impoverishing the masses and pushing them to the extreme end, crimogenic environments, phone addiction, drug abuse, environmental waste and more diseases etc

I dare say Nigeria practices the harshest form of Capitalism/Industrialisation because our elites don't even provide a sort of insurance or warning after or before accidents happen. Dangote truck fit crush anybody alafia! Social media fit turn your kid to a socially awkward child, alafia! No price control on food etc. Whereas foreign countries spend billions to soft cushion the effects of Capitalism.

We the poor masses and professionals of Nigeria need to organise ourselves and finally decide what we want our country to be like. What values we'd like to keep from our history and what we'd like to adopt from overseas. Join MOP on social media, let's take back our nation!

Crime / Re: 70% of Financial Crimes in Nigeria Linked to Banks – EFCC by Babysho(m): 8:09am On Mar 08
EFCC won piss inside our elites pot of soup. They want to bite the hands that feeds them.

We already know our ELITE OLD HEADS, the military generals, navy ogas at the top, CBN governors, our ex and current governors, senators, presidents and Chairpersons of Banks who don't have a clue about cryptocurrency use the banks to siphon money within, into and out of Nigeria.

I suspect even the EFCC was set up by a group of the elites who felt they weren't getting enough share of the cake so they used it as a tool of witch-hunt and we all know oga and oga go always jam, so now EFCC is just tossed left to right like a tennis ball.

EFCC coming out to say this is them begging a force higher than them and the political and business elites to help them arrest their owners 😂😂 The EFCC already knows who and who dey run am but they can NEVER call names.

The brutal truth is that nobody is gonna help Nigeria not even Interpol because as long as Capitalism rules the world, corruption will always rule the world. Only the people can unite and stand up against the elites. Join MOP on IG and let's take back our country!

So none of our Capitalists have been moved to go into phone production when the raw materials are available from our neighbouring African countries.

That's the part I don't get about Nigerian Capitalist, they have the capital, Nigerian youths have the brains and Nigeria is a market waiting for them but they'd still rather go into real estate, salt, bottle water, alcohol, oil etc things that if they're not there another person will do, things that are hinged on survival.

😂😂 first of all, this neo-colonialist govt is never fighting for your interest. How can a govt that removed subsidy from petroleum products fight for you? What they literally did is begin to take money from you and straight into their pockets because where are the dividends of the subsidy removal? Didn't you hear SAN Falana break down how your govt is spending the derived money anyhow on Channels News?

Binance and Aboki Bureau effect on our economy is nothing compared to the effects of decades of bank laundering, corruption, backwards fiscal policies, redundancy of industries, over reliance on dollar and pounds, the growing gap between other countries and Nigeria in technology and the lack of engagement of the youths with the economy.

All of the foods I eat are natural and they're not as inflated as imported/canned/plastics items. Although, still a struggle, the fruits are getting too expensive and are of low quality like the oranges. You go almost break your hand to squeeze orange for a drop of vitamin C.

The silver lining is that this inflation is forcing people to eat better. These shiitts we buy in plastic and cans are bad for us.

You are right. Nigeria's problem is actually a case of mixing oil and water(north and south) in a broken bucket (suspect constitution)

Lmao our political elites go dey smile at this crazy propaganda and distraction media.

How can that be the problem of Nigeria? Said "Oil and water" mix in our government to SUCCESSFULLY launder BILLIONS but poor and rich don't mix to launder billionaires. That should be your focus, CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS.

The problem of Nigeria is lack of organisation of the poor/middle class. Chinedu, Musa, Tobi are all struggling like you and I, to think it's another suffering human that's the cause of your problem is caveman-like.

Our common enemies are the political elites who play politics on an uneven playing ground, they organise and do years of planning how to turn us against each other through misinformation. The other enemy is the business elite who usually funds the political elites and works hand in hand with political elites to sell us goods and services that we can't afford. Your next elitist president has already started planning but you don't have a political party yet. Religious elites too who usually fall under business elites.

We poor/middle class must begin to organise and plan from today! Join the MOP centre. At the center of the centre is political education for all. Follow on Instagram.

Do you know how much of your money entered that refinary? Part of the reason Nigerians are suffering right now is that place. Aside the official over $3b Nnpc paid to dangote as equity to ensure crude is refined for local consumption, that place was financed with cheap, lower than cbn rate dollars from cbn. Practically all the forex was given to dangote whole other busineses and industries suffered scarcity. Dangote practically ruined Nigeria, but the hope was that ultimately, the country will rip the fruits of it investments through stopping importation of petroleum products.
Where are we now? Dangote has started the place and he is focusing on exports, over 8m barrels of products exported without first servicing local demand or atleast easing the suffering.

I swear people are refusing to evolve on Nairaland. These poor 3 million men and women keep siding with Nigerian elites for no reason.
Almost $10 billion of tax payers money was lent to Dangote through our banks.

Not all those you mentioned are necessary for farming...I have farm , I have Yam, cassave, oranges peppers, tomatoes etc despite the fact that I don't even leave in Nigeria. But a lot of you that stays in Nigeria just wake up.everyday and be spreading news about Dollar. What does Dollar has to to do with my Yam, cassava and peppers.
If you have a small farm you will feed your family..Whenever I visit Nigeria I don't buy food....I give to family members and sell to my community at affordable prices...let everyone do the same. EVERYDAY Dollar, Dollar dollar.

I understand what you’re saying, I’m also very ‘pro-agric' but don't you think you're being a little insensitive seeing that you're not living in Nigeria.

(1) Nigerians have to buy many day to day items eg fuel to move about which is imported with dollars, cooking gas is imported with dollars, maintenance like oil for your vehicles and other items are imported hence dollar dollar dollar.
(2) If you're into farming as a business and you don't want to be making inconsist harvest, you MUST use some techniques for your farming like fertilisers that are imported in dollars, local ones are also inflated (Demand n supply). What about your poultry? You don't feed them? price of feed go make u shout dollar dollar. If you buy protein outside, you sef go open your mouth shout dollar dollar dollar 😂😂

There's no two ways to go about it, the government will ALWAYS determine the quality of our lives. If you see a person doing well in Nigeria, he's helping the govt be frivolous or he's govt gan gan.

Why are you acting like the Nigerian govt has done anything to make farming easy. Whatever you buy for your farming, feed, manure, pesticides, all have also been inflated since most are imported and locally ones inflated as well due to forces of demand and supply.
Eventually, you too would have to sell your produce inflated but no forget say you no dey sell kerosine or gas for cooking o Mr Farmer, hope you're home owner too, clean water now na 50 naira for one sachet o.

Emilokan government keeps arresting the people in the system instead of arresting the system.

You don sum up what I've been all over here trying to explain 😂😂. Someone said he noticed naira stabilised since Naija govt held on to Binance. I said it's because the youths have not engaged again with the naira. Once they find another way, it'll go back to its steady devaluation.

The youths play a huge role in what the value of a country becomes. If the political elders dedicate their administration to helping the youths become the best version of themselves by firstly reducing the pressure of surviving by subsidising almost everything, secondly reducing the cost of govt(we need all the money we can get + it's just like father sacrificing for the children), lastly increasing minimum wage reasonably and then investing in the economy, firstly AGRICULTURE, construction, healthcare, tech etc
If the naira no gbera in 5 years, come arrest me.

But if you take their livelihood, put pressure on them and don't help them engage with the economy, other countries with platform for youths will engage them for their own economy and compete against the naira, that's one thing that devalues the naira. Even forget Binance, when one quality Nigerian doctor japa to work in Canada, he strengthens their healthcare (2 doctors to 1 patient) and do you know what it'll cost even the Nigerian politicians to travel for treatment in Canada, visa, tax, hosp bills, etc he's also strengthening Canada's economy. He too should be banned like Binance lol

Not a bad attempt to save naira, now let's tackle inflation!

It's a very bad attempt actually. It's not even an attempt on anything, it's just like how Nigerian govt use EFCC to pursue youths saying they're giving the country bad names while the same govt steal billions from the treasury and buy jets, houses in Paris and Amsterdam and eventually makes it to BBC but na unknown youths with Lexus dey give us bad name 😂😂

The original causes of inflation/devaluation of the naira are the fiscal policies from past administrations, oil theft, corruption, unconducive business environment which led to businesses leaving, lack of electricity for SMB, total reliance on the dollar, the growing gap in industry and tech between USA and Nigeria. The past administrations have just been hanging on my a thread then Tinubu through floating naira finally released the last strap to reveal the true position of Nigeria.

I feel very very very sad about this news. I don't understand why the Government is forcing binance to delist the naira from the exchange.
It's a very very very bad idea,I have repeatedly said it on Nairaland that Government should regulate the activities of binance, but I totally disagree with removing the naira on the platform.
Although some people may disagree but sincerely the naira has been a bit stable in the last 2 weeks since Government forced binance to stop allowing the naira to trade on the exchange.
I was very critical of the modus operandi of binance and how it kept speculating on the value of the naira,If not for Government intervention,I'm sure the Naira would have been more than 2000 naira on the exchange.
Now to how it will affect Nigerians, the CBN governor himself said 26 billion dollars was traded through binance last year, that's a very huge and staggering figure,I dare say it's just a little less than the annual budget of Nigeria,in essence binance is almost becoming a country in its own.
The money traded on binance is almost equal to our foreign reserve,no industry in Nigeria can compete for dollar demand like that traded in Binance.
Government must understand the crypto market with players like binance are helping Nigerians in meeting up some of its dollar need, and stopping the use of the naira on binance will lead to the downward spiral of the naira.
Let us assume the 26 billion dollar traded on binance is true,I believe half must be demand from genuine people who want to maybe send or receive money.
Government must understand this demand for crypto can't be wished away,if these people decide to source for their usd in the forex market, the CBN will never be able to meet up with the supply, and I'm sure even Mr Cardoso knows this.
Nigeria doesn't have any Dollars right now to be used in meeting demand from crypto buyers.
I advise Mr Cardoso to have a rethink, this is a policy somersault from his office, early this year he liberalised the use of crypto trading in Nigeria, now he's reversing the policy.
I appeal to the Minister of Digital Economy, the NSA, Minister of Finance and the Minister of Youth Affairs have a round table on how to regulate the use of Crypto exchanges in Nigeria.
This policy will Affect mostly young Nigerians, pls don't make it harder on them.
God bless Nigeria

Very spot on, but I still believe that whatever is going on in Binance is nothing compared to the damage corruption, total reliance on the dollar and oil theft is causing to the naira.

True, a chunk of the trades in Binance might be from these illegal means from the youths and it's all because we're yet to address the root cause which is that THE YOUTHS HAVE BEEN NEGLECTED.

Even if they ban crypto, the youths can immediately venture into another thing maybe NFTs or sum even more destabilising for the naira than Binance but even these old heads in govt don't understand how to take the good out of the bad, turn things around.

The govt keeps banning and removing subsidy on the things that don't really affect them acting like they're finally ready to work, finally ready to cut costs on govt, finally ready to give jail time for thieves in govt, finally ready to increase minimum wage but they never do!

The more they press down on the necks and then neglect youths, the more the youths become rebels of the system.

How can a porfolio investor trust to bring capital to such a country who insists on monopolizing FX supply

You can see the likes of Nestle, Dangote, BUA, MTN declaring massive FX losses

The next step is the massive retrenchments that usually follow such cost of finance losses, the Human resources are always used to pay for finance losses

when will this zoo government ever learn

With a big thief as President i'm not surprised

I am moving up my price target on NGN to 7000 in the next 18 months

Check my post i called USD/NGN at 2000 back when it was at 460

It is true that Nigerians trading on Binance is devaluing the naira but this is the what some citizens are using to survive. Nigerian govt acting like they're finally ready to get to work on the country but it's lies, they're only taking away the one that doesn't truly affect them.

That's how they removed subsidy on petroleum products but they same govt are still stealing the oil from the back. Ban Binance but the same govt is still using the banks to steal money. If Nigerian govt serious about the naira, bank CEOs will be in jail as we speak.

Hello good people in the house. I really need your advice on how to mitigate the effect of constipation. I've been to several hospitals. Their medication and advice are total flop. What they give to others that make them see results do not work for me. For instance, I was told at one point to take a lot of water daily and also eat fruits like oranges that are rich in fibre. I did these things and they do not work even one bit. So was the drugs they gave me too. Instead helping me out, some of those drugs seem to be damaging thing in my body. Before I started going to hospitals, I used to buy stuff from road side medicine stores. There was a time a lady gave me an injection that changed how my system works. For more than a year, my stool was greenish and sticky. So because of this, I have decided to stop taking medicine for this. What i need is the kind of diet that will alleviate this effect.

Mine seems like a genetic. My dad battled with it to the point that he was taking laxative every week. I've started taking laxative too. The things that relatively work for me are those i discovered by myself and not the things doctors gave me. I discovered that tiger nut work just fine. Pawpaw also works. These things when i eat them at night makes me empty a lot in the next morning. The problem is that when i take them so often, they become accustomed to the system and stop working.

Constipation is destroying my body. Makes me age fast. When i was 17, people thought i was 25. It gives me bad breath too in addition to other discomfort that accompany it such as bloating etc... These things have affected my self esteem so badly.

Please house I need advice on how to manage this thing. Thanks

Am 26+, male and have been suffering from constipation for a long time now, since 2007/08 if I remember correctly, it started as mild constipation, but then it started getting worse.

I'd go for days, 4/5 before I would be able to go to the loo...and even when I finally go, I don't get to empty my bowel completely, its just little that comes out, my stomach is always bloated, even when I haven't eaten, p.s I used to have a flat tummy. But nowadays my tummy is always swollen. After managing to go to toilet, I still feel the need to go, because I just pass out very small quantity of faeces no matter how much I eat, and how much I strain to push them out, it doesn't change.
I've tried incorporating fruits and I drink lots of water, I drink two satchet of water or more sometimes, I've reduced fried meals still no change.

I believe I'm suffering this ailment because as a teen I was always fond of indulging in late night meals, heavy meals like especially beans and bread, and my theory is that I've over worked my stomach, and upset the balance, I'm really suffering, as I type I'm not at ease at all...I'm always hearing noise in my stomach, lest I forget, I have been experiencing symptoms of ulcer for four to five years now.

Practitioners in the house I need your help on how to clean my colon of old faeces stuck inside my intestines, so I can be free, and feel light again, its impossible for me to lose weight because of it, when I don't eat well, I would get constipated for long term. And when I visit the loo, I would pass out very tiny stuff.

Please help a brother if you know anybody that has experienced this before and found a solution to it. God bless you all.

Whatever exchange rate Binance sets can never have any true effect on the economy because it is not a legal tender. We don't buy or sell our goods in crypto. We don't sell our oil through Binance so why would they even go there? 😂😂and if leaders are stealing through Binance, is it Binance you'll hold or the thieves?

All these recent gimmicks by this adminstration, pursuing aboki that exchange naira, blocking Binance etc it's just games and distractions, they have no real effect on the economy.

Floating the naira is like when a lady takes off her bra after a long day, everything lets loose. What we're witnessing is all the long-coming effects of the stealing of oil by the owners themselves, importation of white made products, importation of foods that we should be producing even toothpicks, corruption, youths not engaging with the economy, unconducive business environment, companies folding up from lack of electricity, and all the meaningless fiscal policies over the past 2-3 decades.

Wole Soyinka has a right to his opinion but I strongly disagree with him. I don't even think he thought this through.

The problem is not an ethnic issue, it's a leadership issue!
Nigeria is not the only country with different languages, yet those countries are doing fine so why not us? The entire Europe speaks different languages but use the same currency and open their borders. What is most important is Unity Of Purpose - which is that we all want to thrive.

In fact if anything, African countries should start opening its borders to neighbours not creating more borders.

Everything Nigerian elites do these days is just move our attention from the required element - REVOLUTION. The people must take power back, and then we all decide what we want our new constitution to be. When we start to implement pro-nigerian policies, we'll quickly find that our real enemy is the west not Chinedu Wale or Musa and together again, we'll decide how to deal with these white monsters.

If food is cheap everywhere in Nigeria, the trains pass through every state and there's a sense of equality in amongst all states, I doubt anybody would be worried about ethnicity or religion.

I envision a Nigeria where you select your state to live in accordance to how you like to live. If you love business Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Delta, Kano, Ogun, Enugu, Abuja is your spot and you make the move not out of hunger but out of love for business and each state is just as good as the other. Create billionaires richer than Elon Musk.

You want to just be adventurous and experience life? Perhaps Jos, Cross River, Osun, Taraba? The tourism potential in these states are just waiting!

You want to live closer to nature and greenery like the Japanese and their rural farmside with scenic views? Ogun State? Kaduna? Benue? (This is where you'll find me).

All at low cost of living. Where moving around Nigeria is easy. Relocating to other states is like beans. Each state so unique and pleasant to the eyes fully keying into their unique natural resources.

To create a Nigeria where it's so merged and so intertwined that cultures mix and this can only happen when we're thriving economically and politically.

This dream can begin if you follow a pro-nigerian/pro-african political party by the people @mopcentre on Instagram and Twitter. Let us begin the journey of greatness for Africa.
