you will need a Current account to enjoy the e-divided provision, but some banks like Diamond Bank have a savings product that accepts cheques or warrants.

@ Poster,

first bag Bachelors degree in any of the Social Science discipline, subsequently you register for the Chartered Institute for Stockbrokers exams, pass all the diets (also after graduation & NYSC, try and secure a job with a Stockbroking firm) and you will be inducted as a Dealing Clerk ( it is important as well as an added advantage to have working experience with in stock broking firm, even if your job description is centered on Operational activities).

Fashion / Re: A Nice Smooth Face by babyx(f): 1:06pm On Sep 30, 2010
@Poster, when it comes to pimples and spots, before you try any stuff, be it natural or procesed, you need to know what type of skin you have, is it oily, dry or combination or normal? then again you consider your diet, do you like greasy/fatty meals, like fried eggs, dodo, fried yam, fried anything! also consider your water intake.
Further more, your personnal hygiene is key, sometimes your facial skin may be reacting to an unclean towel which you use to clean your entire body (very sensitive facial skins react by breaking out in pimples or rash). Again when you have breakouts, using your fingers to poke n pinch the affected areas will result to dark spots!

So friend, no this your facial skin is as sensitive as the bum of a baby, extra care is need to maintain it.

Hey Peps, missed y'all.

Guys there is fire in my office oooo,

We have this Top Management Officer (COO), who shouts us down on an hourly basis, intimidating life out us (not exaggerating) (the guy claims to be a capitalist- u know "get money by any means or die trying" his mentor na Aldof Hitler, never fails to remind us on monday meetings :-(.
Recently we (12 of us junior staff) decieded to query him through the Chairman!. Concidentally we choose the Chairman's birthday to do this report, we put all our grievances in writing and presented it to the Chairman who in turn promised to get back to us the next day.

Guys, we resumed work the next day to a more heated work environment, it was like all hell was let loose. The chairman did not see anything wrong with the Mgt style of this fellow simply becos he generates more liability than all of us put together! ( see what money can do?)
Just this morning in his unilateral style of administration, he suspended verbally our only IT officer! , i sense loads of trouble ahead. The guy is out to elimante all 12 of us one by one!

Ladies, DO NIGERIAN gals use MINERAL MAKEUP? yes or no, (whats all this talk abt some gals been rich n others poor)
Yes some Nigerian Ladies use mineral makeup, but in my own opinion, our dark skin shade dont carry off mineral makeup very well. Plus our weather dont help either. They are expensive, not stay on for long because of the hot weather.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Top Secret Human Resources Manager: Why Many Applicants Fail To Qualify? by babyx(f): 2:43pm On Dec 19, 2009
Well, i have been down the road of hard times in school and months of unemployment. Pardon me though, as a life policy, i prefer to think solutions than to dwell on problems.
Success to all applicants out there!! wink
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Top Secret Human Resources Manager: Why Many Applicants Fail To Qualify? by babyx(f): 5:31pm On Dec 17, 2009
@Success101,
i didnt take any course in the university that had "Job application" as its content, but when i left skool and had to source for a job, i had to use the internet to educate and inform myself.
one can not get all the education you need in a classroom, young people need to have the hunger to source for information, the hunger to know what is new in the world system. Ask questions, ask people who have been through the same path,
We went to graduate school not to bag a Bachelors degree but to develop our minds (our thinking processes). When we see our education (no matter how poor) in this perspective we can achieve alot of things beyond classrooms!
I rest my case.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Studying In America And Will Like To Work In Nigeria by babyx(f): 1:49pm On Dec 16, 2009
@Poster
You are correct, everybody has an equal opportunity in the job market irrespective of where you are schooled. Employers in 9ja actually gun for experience on the job rather than paper qualifications (which is still an add advantage).
Accountants here earn well, it depends on the sector they are offering their services to. The services of an accountant is still valid here. Some earn btween 900k - 1.2 per annum depending on the level and the sector. Chief Accountants (Financial controller or Finance Manager) earn on the average btween 1.2 - 2.5 per annum. All these earnings are driven by experience on the job factor and the sector of employment, it can higher or even lower.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Top Secret Human Resources Manager: Why Many Applicants Fail To Qualify? by babyx(f): 1:32pm On Dec 16, 2009
@HRmanager
this is a bit harsh, i understand you want to drive a message home but u need to do it constructively.

I have been opportuned to shortlist applicants for interview time and time over and its true that some dont read their CV's thoroughly before they apply.

Some applicants have more than one mobile number + some will not attach their CVs rather they copy and paste on the mail compose sheet (will be deleted instantly) + some CV's are not properly named + the position applied for is not stated as the subject of the mail (unless the HR is your brother, trust me it wont be read) + some apply for positions they are not qualified or overly qualified for either by way of academic or experience on the job criterias + some dont know how to chronologically arrange their data for easy read.

Lets take our time and make our applications worth while.

For every vacancy advert made public, over two thousand applications are recieved in a day.
I wish y'all good success.
